This guy is the real deal. He needs a couple more years to work on his fundamentals and technique. When he does he's gonna be a monster. Add that to his ball skills and hard hitting nature and we got us a a clone of Sheldon Brown. Sidney and Rasul gonna hold it down for us for years to come.

Right? Tough but for me I don't see Darby in the Eagles long term plans. He has been fantastic this season especially since he missed half the season with that ankle. We saw this coming last off-season when we got him that someone would have to go with the sudden abundance of talent at cornerback. It's a good problem to have but for me Darby would be the odd one out. However it all depends on how everyone plays and who shows up.

When we got him in the draft I knew we had gotten a future star in the secondary. He can matchup with big wr’s and is, as the title says, a ballhawk. I can see him as a future safety with us or a cb. Drafting him and Jones really solidifies our secondary for the future.

Love this kid. All these injuries in the secondary in the 2018 season has been a blessing in disguise. I like darbys speed and mills aggressive tackling abilitly but rasul had improved heavily in coverage and tackling. He has the ball hawk ability to be a true shut down corner and im def a fan of this kid from jersey. He also will be able to learn the ins and outs of corner and safery position from a great veteran player in Malcolm Jenkins. Hopfully down the stretch this season he plays his way into the starting job for the future. I also am becoming a big fan af Avonte Maddox

Devin Wright he did have a great season still would stay mills was our best cb this year but he gonna be a free agent next year and I don’t see a point of resigning him with 4 good to above average cb on the roster but if come back for the low I would love to see him back
Ron West what people forget is robinson never went against the #1 reciever he usually lines up against their 3rd reciever also never got left on a 1 on 1 on the outside without safety help. In my opinion mills was the best corner but i am happy with all of them they performed pretty well.
Devin Wright robinson will probably leave. Mills was best corner and will probably convert to safety if Douglas and jones become good starters, darby needs to be more physical

Roy Brooks well McCloud is under contract for I believe 2 or 3 more years I think we’ll keep him I think Jalen Mills is the Malcolm Jenkins replacement he’ll be 30 by the start of next season I give Jenkins 3 more years here then Mills will take over

For his body type hes really good at playing off and breaking on routes. He can be special not too many 6'2 210lb corners that can play off and jump routes like he can. He's an interception machine. Solid tackler too great matchup on those bigger recievers. I think this year we will play guys depending on skillset of the match ups. Big guys rasul gets em, deep speed guys darby, quick feet guys Sidney and jalen mills on savvy route runners since his technique is his best attribute

I really feel like he should start over Mills. He is bigger, has a higher ceiling, slightly faster, tackles well and just has a nose for the football. Move Mills to backup Safety or possibly slot corner. Idk.

Dan Dilly never thought of it but yes. Rasual can be another “Jenkins” for the Birds. I love his style and he has enough speed and size to get the job done.... he is too much of a talent to stay on the bench

Honestly, I'd like to see him move to a strong safety kind of spot, like Malcom Jenkins, where he could play the robber position if necessary (and have an athletic LB like Kendricks cover TE's). Move Darby to a free safety where he can play deep and still have the speed to close in on a play if necessary (and he's already a solid tackler). With Schwartz playing a lot of Cover 1 man, Darby being free safety and Douglas playing strong safety "robber" can work wonders, in my honest opinion.
That would leave Jones and Mills to play Corner and maybe our new acquisition, Worley, to play slot?

This is what I've been saying since we drafted him. He's great at zone and reading the QB eyes and breaking on balls with his long arms but he's not a afraid to go up to the line to stack, shed and tackle. He can def do it.

Mills is too short and small to be a safety. Rasul can hit and is way bigger than Mills, he should be safety. Plus Rasul has ball skills. As a safety, you have to use anticipation and coverage ability.

Unlike wide receivers cornerbacks have to do good at least a third of the game to be considered a good cornerback in the league not just two or three plays and one bad play at the end of the game no matter how good of a game you have could ruin you.
