So if you can’t or shouldn’t plant them what would you do with the seeds?
1) Even if they are invasive; you can plant by controlling the area. By inserting a pot (LARGE) in the ground, to control where the roots go. 2) Grow in a pot on the porch/deck/patio, just understand that it will get huge. 3) Plant in a natural area to let it naturalize. 4) Share the seeds. ❤❤💕
@@gardenrulezgood tip, because of its medicinal properties, I will grow this tree but in a pot or container.
Its mid october and my seed pods are all still green 🤨
Did you collect them when they were brown?? That's how you know they are ripe.
Note to self: You cannot collect all the seeds. Leave the mimosa trees alone.
I think I missed something sorry my audio isn’t great. What do you use the seeds for?
I would gather as many seed pods and share with my fellow Gardners, and also they will populate your area if you do not collect em. It's a choice.
I waited until the seed pods started to fall to the ground naturally before collecting some. Mimosa trees are given an undeserved bad reputation. The perfume of the flowers is amazing and they have medicinal uses as well.
Facts. I love these trees.
