I miss the times when you could go in the game store with your parents, not knowing what game your going to get, and just pick a game that is good. You can't do that anymore. You have to do your research beforehand to make sure what your buying is worth it. And then after that you have to decide whether to get the season pass or not, lol.
Solomon Abram lol i member that, i used to bug my brothers or mum to take me to GAME and i would spend like a good 10-15mins with 2 or 3 games in my hands trying to decide which to get 😅
Supreme Haha, I remember getting Kameo and Fable from gamestation for £20 during Christmas, insane amount of fun just from those. I wish I didn't have to do research for a game now, or that I didn't care about frame rate/resolution/all the nuances that come with it (anti aliasing, texture quality, animation etc), damn I remember just playing spyro and having hours of fun thinking it looked great too, good times haha.
I miss when games came out on time. I miss when games didn't cater as much to casuals. I miss when boss fights were epic. I miss when games were filled with mystery & secrets that weren't ruined by the rise of the internet (Mortal Kombat 2 for example). I miss PlayStation Underground & other demo discs.
I miss the replay value in a lot of games these days, there aren't as many that seem to have replay value *Coughs* Order 1886 *Coughs*. I remember being able to just go over games over and over again and still unlock new stuff. These days after you beat a game it's like "What's next?"
That patch/install wait time struggle is real to the point where you just have to do something else. When I picked up Halo 5 I popped it into the Xbox One, verified it picked up the update to download, and went to bed while it ran. By the way, I doubt that Best Buy employee was lying - most are just really ill-informed .-. Back when I was getting an Xbox 360 I had an employee tell me up and down that he knew 100% you would have to pay yearly for Xbox Live or else the console just wouldn't work. This was back in 2007, so long before they did that payment plan machine.
I miss going to game stores and buying games based off the cover. That's how I got into games like ratchet and clank, dead to rights, the getaway, true crime
DLC nowadays is stuff like extra characters, background music, character skins, weapons, items, etc. I miss the days where we had to unlock that shit. And most of the time, you had to work your ass off, I mean WORK your ass off to unlock that stuff. Now its just like "want this ultra mega extremely badass secret character? Well you can only get this ultra mega extremely badass secret character by paying $2.99 on the PlayStation Store." Why can't I do some insanely ridiculous task to unlock man? Why?!
I miss the demos discs in the mail loaded with the next seasons games. Especially Playstation magazine. I remember trying Crash, Spyro, Syphon Filter, Cool Boarders, THPS before they came out. I miss when magazines were the way to find out news. Manuals, ARCADES, and button codes "after you beat the game".
The thing I miss the most is the mystery around games. I remember playing Oblivion for days because one of my friends swore up and down he saw a dragon. Stuff like that doesn't happen anymore. You know pretty much everything about a game the second you buy it. There is no mystery anymore. Also can we please bring back manuals? I still remember reading the Kotor manual and learning from it.
Things I miss: Instruction booklets. Used to love opening a game and smelling that fresh booklet smell, when the book was thick and in color, you KNEW you were going to have A TRUE AAA NEXT GEN (at that time) experience! Loved reading them on the car ride back or on the toilet. I miss games that would come out of nowhere and be awesome. Before we had youtube, internet, and all the coverage you wouldn't always know what was coming out or what kind of game it would be. Sometimes you would just see a new game and be surprised at how great it was. I miss going to blockbuster and renting games. It was like a hunt sometimes to find that title you were looking for. What a thrill when the game you wanted to play so badly was in stock and you were one of the first to rent it. This has nothing to do with games but just myself as an older, somewhat burned out gamer, I miss enjoying the same 2-3 games for like a year plus at a time. I would get a game like WCWvsNWO and be satisfied playing it almost every day for a year. Now days most games get old in weeks. I just don't have the same attention span. I miss getting new, varied single player games all the time. Now days so much is focused on online. Back in the day, there were so many single player focused games and they were not always good but there were so many attempts and new approaches to make something good and interesting. There was a lot more experimentation, today games cost so much Devs just want to play safe. You don't get as many unique attempts and titles as before. I mean they still can be found in indie games but I am talking about games that are meant to be AAA titles. It was so cool when games like Halo, Syphon Filter, Gears, Max Payne, GTA 1, Road Rash, Shadow Run, Mas Effect 1, etc. came out. They were just different and not trying to be like everything else.
Calinks well said man i really miss gaming back on my 360, your right i only bought like 2-3 games a year but i would play the shit out of them usually they were halo, cod, bfc2 I appreciated them much more as well because parents bought them now I buy games left and right and its just no big deal that feeling isn't there anymore. Also I loved when I didn't know a thing about the games didn't research the hell out of them before I played them I just heard about it and went to pick the game up and I enjoyed them SO much more. Now I'm always so fussy as to which system the game looks and runs better on, in the past that didn't bother me whatsoever.
There are 5 things I miss about gaming back in the day: 1. Going to Blockbuster or Hollywood Video to rent video games & keeping it for an week 2. Folks just playing video games without complaining all the time (sometimes for a good reason) 3. Going to the arcade & have fun. 4. Buy & play the game without extra obstacles (including an complete video game). 5. Football competition 2K vs EA Sports
Maurice Branch even though i never read them it just felt better knowing they were there instead of some small slip promoting another game or season pass 😅
one thing I miss in gaming is back in ps3 there was no party chat. everyone spoke in the games lobby. when there were two different clans they would have the funniest conversations but now... no one bothers with game chat.... online is not a fun as it was before.
1. In game unlockables 2. More variety of games(Platformers, Stealth,3rd person horror games) 3. Better competition (Snes vs Sega,) 4. Arcades 5. Games didn't hold your hand as much
what I miss is the game booklets that used to be in every game you buy, sometimes it's just fun to look through them, see artwork, funny stuff etc. The only devs that still do it are Rockstar.

Hmmm I miss when consoles were not online (no internet) and you actually had to be over a friends house to play. Tecmo Bowl, Double Dribble, Blades of Steel, Metal Gear on and on.
I honestly remeber going over my neighbors houses as a kid and playing smash bros or Naruto split screen. It was so hard to go home cause we all loved that game. Man i really miss those days ...
I miss companies not trying to push gimmicks like 3d and VR. And not having microtransactions or season passes. And I miss demo discs. And having modes unlocked by progression rather than locked by paywalls.
Variety. Plain and simple. I started gaming on NES back in 1985. Every system till PS3, Xbox360, GameCube; had so many companies making games it was insane. Companies you've never heard of before and some heard not from ever again. So many hidden gems and developers taking risks to create something new for us to enjoy. 2016 is sequels and remasters because its just easier. So that's what I miss. Your list was great too. Agree on all points.
Ah, the good ol' days of memory card toting, junk food & pizza splitscreen binging sleepovers with two or more consoles. On another note: Best Buy's always been biased toward the Xbox.
Even movies have DLC now. Look at DC. First they give you the trailers so you can get hyped for the movie. Then in theaters they give you a dumbed down version of the movie that makes no sense. THEN next thing you know they're like "Hey guys, we're proud to bring you the COMPLETE DIRECTOR'S CUT ULTIMATE EDITION QUASAR VERSION!"
To be honest... Gaming today is techinically better than any gen in the past for me. I did most of my gaming in the PS2 era but every game I put a massive amount of time into I was always wanting more. Todays gaming allows that through updates and all that. The only thing I can agree on is that the games that belong to the PS2 era are still better than a lot of games today. The one thing I absolutely dislike about this gen... IS THESE GAHT DAMN INSTALL SIZES FOR ALL GAMES FAM! WE'RE LITERALLY INSTALLING THE ENTIRE GAME ON OUR HARD DRIVES. IT DOESN'T MATTER IF WE GOT IT DIGITALLY OR NOT! That's one thing about last gen that I loved because I was able to play many games that I owned without worrying about installation times.
Literally Buy, Insert, and Play is the one thing I truly miss. Download time takes like 7 years! Miss the halo 2 midnight launch. Being able to play instantly is something I took for granted!
Instead of spending 30 minutes installing the game I remember spending time reading those full color instruction booklets with sick art and a pretty good introduction to the story and/or game's mechanics, getting you even more hyped before you played. Most heartfelt is the splitscreen , as well as console startup themes; Dreamcast, Gamecube and my favorite the PS2. Ran PCSX2 the other day and had it fully boot up, when that theme played a wave of memeories straight up slapped me in the face, left me speechless lmao.
I miss buying games simply based on the cover art. You had limited sources if any for game reviews. So you looked at the cover ....looked at the back for a screenshots.
Gamer2323 i have been supporting you since you're 5 thousands subs and now you have over 75,000 subs!!!It's crazy.Keep growing brotha. Love your videos.
Yeah, I miss splitscreen. Golden Eye 007 on the N64 was so crazy back when we were kids, as well as Smash Bros. and other games and consoles. That moment where we were like 10-12 deep and whoever wasn't in first place lost their spot and there was so much pressure and anxiety in the room. And everytime you either died or got a kill, or lost a round, or fell behind a life, all that pressure and anxiety was kicked up another level, even if you weren't the one that scored a kill or died you FELT it almost on the back of your neck. Those moments where something absolutely crazy happened and we ALL saw it go down at the same moment. Hell, that's how our gaming legends and stories were formed between us. Rivalries too. Some people who were strangers became friends because of that experience. It really was a beautiful time. Not perfect, but beautiful nonetheless.
In kinda in a really strange way, miss the lack of Internet access, I miss going to the store to buy a magazine once a month with demos and maybe some trailers (rare for ps2 days, but still) to find out the newest games, I miss having to stare at still photographs trying to figure out what the gameplay was going to be like, I miss fps games that came out first and foremost with SP in mind it wasn't like 'hey have played the new so and so' 'yea I'm prestige 7' it would be like 'did you beat the story, what was your favourite mission, how epic was that boss fights or how creepy was this secrion' I miss games where I would just get stuck and not know where to go, because there wasn't a massive arrow pointing towards my next location (I understand some games needing it, but alot of games just take the piss).... but overall I miss the innovation, it just seems now for the most part almost all games are very similar to one an other, it's just there graphics amd audio thay sets them apart...
i miss co-op when i could play with my friends or my dad and we could talk to eachother easily and do missions. now with new games every, if not, nearly every single game is 1 player offline and now you cant even play games with your parents or your cousins in the same room just having fun on someones birthday or a holiday
I miss how we would search on dial up Internet for codes lol or refer to the printouts after pressing pause so we can make sure we press the button sequence properly for fatalities :D
I miss 3D games and polygons being a novelty. it's impossible to explain to kids today how cool it was to play Goldeneye for the first time after coming from a Genesis or SNES. it was just magical
You know what I miss good videogame soundtracks and unlockable content. I feel like music in games are so important and it lacks in modern gaming these days. Also, unlockable content has become obsolete for sake of shoving DLC in our faces.
Great video man. I miss just putting in the game and playing it too and I ESPECIALLY miss when ALL the content was there from the start, and all the DLC was truly bonus content. *cough* Halo 5 *cough* Dickstiny *cough* SFV
Bring back ingame cheat code. That up,up, down, down shit. Bring back bonus skins, unlocked characters, and weapons after you beat the game. Bring back friendly kills (sometimes you gotta kill stupidass people on yo team) Give back the ability to vote people out of games. Get rid of match making and bring back server rooms. Bring back clan system, not this fake clan tag we have now. Bring back spectator mode. Bring back all the people who used to talk on mics. Fuck party chat. Give me back a real ranking system, where your rank can go up and DOWN. Bring back the ability to create your own custom rooms (pick the map you want, how many round, the guns, the player count, playlist). Bring back strifing wars. Old school gamers know what I'm talking about. Get rid of regen health. Bring back health bars. Get rid of that low health screen effect, where the screen gets red and blurry. MAN, JUST GIVE ME SOCOM 2. and i'm good.
Speaking of socom 2, remember when the game was loading and suckas use to "hold the mic" and just say the stupidest shit just so they can have the last word. lol.
I miss the variety in games. Devs were willing to take more risks instead of putting out 7000 sequels or copy and pasting other games. I also feel like a lot of the stuff we get in DLC/microtransactions would have been secret stuff we got in old games for doing certain things like getting a bazooka in RE1 for beating the game in a certain amount of time etc. It added replayability instead of a just sitting around for 2 months and waiting to shell out 40 bucks for a season pass.
I grew up on 5th gen, 6th gen and early 7th gen games and I definitely miss being able to play a finished game as soon as I get home with it, and splitscreen was the best thing ever. The fact that's a dying trend is so sad. :( One thing that definitely is better now a days though is controllers. Wired controllers were ridiculously annoying. I remember breaking my original Wii by accidentally pulling the console off of the table it was on because I was using a GameCube controller. Young gamers take wireless controllers for granted and don't realise how good they are. Lol
The last understandable console war was PS2/XBOX. XBOX had a mic and PS2 didn't. XBOX had built in memory and PS2 still had cards. That was pretty much the extent of the fuel people went off of. But with that said me, my friends, and classmates were all 10 and 11 years old and most of us had all 3 systems anyway. So it was just something to do and more teasing than anything. Today's console wars are made up of something completely different and it's mostly adults.
I miss the mystery of gaming.I used to go to blockbuster or Hollywood video pick out so random junk come home throw it in and be blown away. Now days we know the whole Damn story before we play them. Also Sega I'm still waiting on a new Ready to Rumble!
you are on my top 3 youtubers sucka.everytime you upload a new vid im like THIS IS GONNA BE.....LIT!!!!!i just wished you made more playtroughs.i loved uncharted and until dawn.
"these die hard, willing to take a bullet!" Ahahaha man I remember the first time you said that back in the Wii U Vid. Ahaha tooo funny! But every point on here was to spot on Jeremy.
Gosh, that last one reminded me of something. I am not more towards PS4, Xbox One, or Switch, but this story I have to share cracks me up a bit. So, awhile back, someone on my Facebook friends list made a post about how Xbox One was better than PS4(I don't remember the reasons that were given so don't ask me), and I made a comment asking what makes PS4 a bad console, and she gave a few reasons(again, I don't remember the reasons given), and after that, she removed me off her friends list. All because I asked whats so bad about PS4. I wasn't saying PS4 was better, I think both PS4 and Xbox One are great consoles for different reasons, but I was in no way saying that PS4 was better than Xbox One, and I got removed for asking "What makes PS4 a bad console?" Kinda cracks me up to this day.
I miss 1. playing at your friends house. 2. renting games 3. cheat codes / cool hidden features 4. replay value 5. cool underground games / hidden gem games
As a 90's kid I remember arguing for my personal console (i was down with sega smh) its worst now because the internet has a bad habit of taking view points to the extreme from trolls to fanboys.
I miss platformers like Jak, Spyro and Sly. I miss how old consoles like N64 would never crash unlike the Greatness awaits station 4 which an error in application occurs like once a day lol XD
I agree 90s baby right here born in 91 and I say we have the best childhood years ever games and cartoons u name it snacks all that best era of all times
what i miss most is the cheat codes that was the replay value every game had them GTA still does it nowadays but you literally could unlock everything also how i was never waiting for games as i am now like I'm waiting for a spiderman game that does not even have a release date lol it seem like i just went to the store and picked out a game that was it no research didn't look at reviews like you said or purchase DLC none of that and don't forget demo cd with multiple games on it that was lit you get to play 3 to 4 different games all day didn't have an expiration date haha like now
I miss the times when you could go in the game store with your parents, not knowing what game your going to get, and just pick a game that is good. You can't do that anymore. You have to do your research beforehand to make sure what your buying is worth it. And then after that you have to decide whether to get the season pass or not, lol.
Solomon Abram
lol i member that, i used to bug my brothers or mum to take me to GAME and i would spend like a good 10-15mins with 2 or 3 games in my hands trying to decide which to get 😅
Yep, the games were a lot cheaper back then as well. That's why we could get more than 1 game. Man, memories!!!
Supreme Haha, I remember getting Kameo and Fable from gamestation for £20 during Christmas, insane amount of fun just from those. I wish I didn't have to do research for a game now, or that I didn't care about frame rate/resolution/all the nuances that come with it (anti aliasing, texture quality, animation etc), damn I remember just playing spyro and having hours of fun thinking it looked great too, good times haha.
i remember doing too with ff10 great game
+Sackboy612 Spyro?!?! Oh man don't get me started! Lol. Man I wish they would remake that game. I'm excited about Crash as well.
I'm at the point where i can predict the exact moment when you are about to bust out in that wheezing laugh
You must be a long time viewer then LOL
I miss when Season passes, DLC & Micro- transaction were not a thing.. If you bought the game.. you bought the game!
I miss when games were about the gameplay instead of counting pixels.
Enigmatic801 l
Enigmatic801 d
I remember those disc and the Xbox demo disc lol
I miss the replay value in a lot of games these days, there aren't as many that seem to have replay value *Coughs* Order 1886 *Coughs*. I remember being able to just go over games over and over again and still unlock new stuff. These days after you beat a game it's like "What's next?"
My nigga reminiscing over split screen.. son, do you know how many wars me and the homies got into over "screen peeking" ? That use to get serious lol
Tripp Alderman but it was fun as heck
Derreco Drakes oh yeah I agree
lol i remember screen peaking
cheat codes
The No man's sky Guy good one. ion even cheat in games no more cuz of achievements smh
The No man's sky Guy Oh yea, I remember going on ign website to get cheat codes.
muzikislyfe
Mortal Kombat (sega genesis): abacabb or dullard
Jack Gaul GameShark Pro, make your own codes. That I miss.
That patch/install wait time struggle is real to the point where you just have to do something else. When I picked up Halo 5 I popped it into the Xbox One, verified it picked up the update to download, and went to bed while it ran.

fuck yea lol i did the exact same with n64 games looked goid in the cover i was getting it!!
Things That Gaming Gave Me Back Then Was Better Replayability And Fun Factor.
I miss renting games at Hollywood video I used to get so excited when I could rent a new game.
Solid Snake stores like that is how I found out about so many great series such as Ratchet & Clank
Solid Snake Big..boss?!
Patrick Bateman No I'm Solid.
Solid Snake Brotheaaaaa'!!
Solid Snake snakeeeeeee
I miss those jampack discs that would come with a bunch of demos of games.
Hell fucking yes!!!
Duck Films Hold this W

Calinks when the games are 20 million plus to make, you have to cut corners somewhere.. thats why Google is our friend
Splitscreen was awesome... I remember playing NFS Hot pursuit 2 with my bro in splitscreen, those moments make me miss my PS2 :'(
I remember playing Burnout split screen with my sister. Some great times..
Started playing Infamous 2 on my ps3 last week. Had to blink twice because of "no patches"! It seems like we are going backwards.
how many games u got on ps3?
Stedmourn Palmore Last time i counted about 60 to 70. I collect for other systems too
That's that game right there. Ps3 infamous over ps4 ones
DarkAge Shooter That's the only beef i have with Rockstar, is making us wait for a game to come out.

member when games included instruction booklets.
oooooooh member when games were finished before release
i definitely missed the instruction booklets
Maurice Branch
member when games like GTA used to come with a poster or a map folded up in the case aswell lol
Maurice Branch
even though i never read them it just felt better knowing they were there instead of some small slip promoting another game or season pass 😅
i miss unlocking stuff in the game like how you had to unlock all the characters in Tekken by beating the story mode.
one thing I miss in gaming is back in ps3 there was no party chat. everyone spoke in the games lobby. when there were two different clans they would have the funniest conversations but now... no one bothers with game chat.... online is not a fun as it was before.
I also miss 4- player split screen perfect dark(For N64) and time splitters and wrestling
roger diaz I loved when everybody was in game chat.lots of arguing, trolling, and working together to win
Split screen multiplayer had no lags too 😭
You can relive all of that.... if you make the
SWITCH😋
STOP....lol
TheGamer2323 I dare you to watch a trump ad video the comment section is ridiculous
What's your outro song brotha? sounds dope :)
+Ghost Geist We'll see
*****
me too. but to be honest, I don't trust Nintendo anymore.
I'm keeping my WiiU, but I'll wait 2 years before deciding if I get a Switch
I miss picking up random unknown IPs at a game store. Stuff like that is why I love IPs like Wet, Fracture, Alan Wake, ect.
1. In game unlockables
2. More variety of games(Platformers, Stealth,3rd person horror games)
3. Better competition (Snes vs Sega,)
4. Arcades
5. Games didn't hold your hand as much
Definitely miss when we would enjoy every system. Lets be honest, this all started with the Xbox 360 fans.
Had two of those RROD on me, smh.
bobbyw223 I definitely remember, its probably the internet that makes all of this seem that much more ridiculous.
I miss TV'S that don't break when you throw your controller at it.
I really miss reading the lengthy manuals on the drive back home when getting a new game.
13:00 word! it was encouraged that we each got different consoles so we could play as many games as possible with friends from our neighborhood.
what I miss is the game booklets that used to be in every game you buy, sometimes it's just fun to look through them, see artwork, funny stuff etc. The only devs that still do it are Rockstar.

Agreed 100% fam
***** you picking up the ps4 Pro ?
One thing I miss : Gaming being fun.
MCC & Halo 5 still taking a toll on you fam? XDDD
TheGamer2323 yea bruh MCC was the beginning of my gaming retirement lol
Hmmm I miss when consoles were not online (no internet) and you actually had to be over a friends house to play. Tecmo Bowl, Double Dribble, Blades of Steel, Metal Gear on and on.

I miss when consoles came out, they were on at least on par with home computers and not 3-4 years behind. 🙄
I miss being able to buy game magazines that came with new game demos every month. These days new game demos are almost as rare as unicorns
LOL i love that quick cut of you putting in Battlefield 1 and then throwing the controller on the ground
LMAO you must be talking about batman v trashman ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
***** You bet your bottom dollar
Ran PCSX2 the other day and had it fully boot up, when that theme played a wave of memeories straight up slapped me in the face, left me speechless lmao.
you're definitely right about everything you mentioned. social media has changed gaming to its core.
man.. I was still playing split screen Goldeneye back in 2009, no joke
I got some good ass memories on left 4 dead 2 split screen
blakeng1 maaaaaane im telling you I want a remastered version
Ssx was the shit on split screen
nattys dead they do need to make a remastered version
blakeng1 bro for real dude they need to make another left for dead man such a good game and was fucking scary when your heard that tank music
it was scary for me when i heard the smoker
In kinda in a really strange way, miss the lack of Internet access, I miss going to the store to buy a magazine once a month with demos and maybe some trailers (rare for ps2 days, but still) to find out the newest games, I miss having to stare at still photographs trying to figure out what the gameplay was going to be like, I miss fps games that came out first and foremost with SP in mind it wasn't like 'hey have played the new so and so' 'yea I'm prestige 7' it would be like 'did you beat the story, what was your favourite mission, how epic was that boss fights or how creepy was this secrion' I miss games where I would just get stuck and not know where to go, because there wasn't a massive arrow pointing towards my next location (I understand some games needing it, but alot of games just take the piss).... but overall I miss the innovation, it just seems now for the most part almost all games are very similar to one an other, it's just there graphics amd audio thay sets them apart...
sorry for the grammar, my phones got a mind of its own, I went to make adjustments but it just made it worse haha
oh!! and Books!!! I miss the manuals, sometimes you'd get a really good manual and you could just sit there reading it for ages
i miss co-op when i could play with my friends or my dad and we could talk to eachother easily and do missions. now with new games every, if not, nearly every single game is 1 player offline and now you cant even play games with your parents or your cousins in the same room just having fun on someones birthday or a holiday
I miss the abundant amount of jrpg's that came out during the PS2 era.
I miss when games were new for me. Because now I see the same type of games.
I miss how we would search on dial up Internet for codes lol or refer to the printouts after pressing pause so we can make sure we press the button sequence properly for fatalities :D
I miss 3D games and polygons being a novelty. it's impossible to explain to kids today how cool it was to play Goldeneye for the first time after coming from a Genesis or SNES. it was just magical
cooking with the gamer coming soon yall.
obi_ y sheeiiiiiiiiiiit
obi_ y lol noodles with hot dogs recipes for everyone
bout to drop that HEAT fam
Fam you are talking what was in my soul the last couple of year's and I see that sweet KH T-Shirt with my boi Roxas and Sora
You know what I miss good videogame soundtracks and unlockable content. I feel like music in games are so important and it lacks in modern gaming these days. Also, unlockable content has become obsolete for sake of shoving DLC in our faces.
Retrofuge I'm waiting for the day when hard mode will become DLC
Hak If Mortal Kombat X has an easy fatalities DLC. It's only a matter of time.
Another QUALITY upload. Nothing new here Jeremy. :)
Haha! Thank you my brotha :)
Great video man. I miss just putting in the game and playing it too and I ESPECIALLY miss when ALL the content was there from the start, and all the DLC was truly bonus content.
*cough* Halo 5 *cough* Dickstiny *cough* SFV
i miss every other game not being open world
Bring back ingame cheat code. That up,up, down, down shit.
Bring back bonus skins, unlocked characters, and weapons after you beat the game.
Bring back friendly kills (sometimes you gotta kill stupidass people on yo team)
Give back the ability to vote people out of games.
MAN, JUST GIVE ME SOCOM 2. and i'm good.
this man want a gameshark in 2016......LMAO! W for bringing up socom 2 tho
Yeah, its called playing on a PC. God mode, automatic headshots, seeing through wall hacks.
It added replayability instead of a just sitting around for 2 months and waiting to shell out 40 bucks for a season pass.
i miss that midnight club series man ps2 was the best but ps3 and Xbox 360 changed gaming forever with more online gameplay
Back in the day there were no micro-transactions.
i miss the substance
That DING after two minutes... Took me the whole video to get my hearing back x)
97-06 was the golden era of jrpgs every week there was a new one or you was just overwhelmed by the variety
I grew up on 5th gen, 6th gen and early 7th gen games and I definitely miss being able to play a finished game as soon as I get home with it, and splitscreen was the best thing ever. The fact that's a dying trend is so sad. :(
One thing that definitely is better now a days though is controllers.
I miss cheat codes and hidden unlockables in game for example Ratchet and Clank
I miss the mystery of gaming.I used to go to blockbuster or Hollywood video pick out so random junk come home throw it in and be blown away. Now days we know the whole Damn story before we play them. Also Sega I'm still waiting on a new Ready to Rumble!
I MISSED WIRED CONTROLLER MAN!! Not having to worry about batteries saved me the headache
you are on my top 3 youtubers sucka.everytime you upload a new vid im like THIS IS GONNA BE.....LIT!!!!!i just wished you made more playtroughs.i loved uncharted and until dawn.
I miss buying a console and it actually being the only console not the 3rd version of the same damn console.
Finally my dude!! I've been waiting fam
I miss
1. playing at your friends house.
2. renting games
3. cheat codes / cool hidden features
4. replay value
5. cool underground games / hidden gem games
Man I miss when new games were only $50 lmao
I know right lol
And it would actually be the full game, not half a game.
I agree, I miss full games without the need for a day one patch regardless of onlie capability or not.
Miss local MP, loved playing Battlefront 2 on PS2 with my cousins
post internet era dismisses insert and play. the internet is a...blessing and a curse to gaming
Tbt on PS3 when you never had to install a game and never ran out of space. Nowadays games are around 50 gigs and take up so much space on the PS4
You forgot to include The Instruction booklet
i missed when game were not overhyped
Awesome video I miss split screen because I want to play with my brother sometimes! Some games have split screen at least but not many!
I damn sure don't miss memory cards, those things were expensive! Also, nice shirt!
As a 90's kid I remember arguing for my personal console (i was down with sega smh) its worst now because the internet has a bad habit of taking view points to the extreme from trolls to fanboys.
Lord almost choked on my lunch. Who musty auntie is that at 8:00?
morpheus hakim 😂😂😂
morpheus hakim 😂
yeah we definitely took the plug an play for granted
My brother I love the Kingdom Hearts shirt. Real question talk: WHERE IS THAT KH3 BRO!!!
Totally agree with you, Jeremy. What is the point of buying a game when you have to install the multiplayer and patches every month or two
my god this brings back so many memories and how garbage the industry is now lmao
LMAO!!! Just bad business practices for the most part these days...
what i miss most is the cheat codes that was the replay value every game had them GTA still does it nowadays but you literally could unlock everything also how i was never waiting for games as i am now like I'm waiting for a spiderman game that does not even have a release date lol it seem like i just went to the store and picked out a game that was it no research didn't look at reviews like you said or purchase DLC none of that and don't forget demo cd with multiple games on it that was lit you get to play 3 to 4 different games all day didn't have an expiration date haha like now
