Reza Shah Kazemi on “Traditional Action in the Contemporary World”

“Traditional Action in the Contemporary World” was presented by Dr. Reza Shah-Kazemi at the Sacred Web 2006 Conference “Tradition in the Modern World” in Edmonton, Canada.
Shah-Kazemi’s talk was a profound meditation on the levels of meaningful action available to people who have accepted a traditional spiritual framework - even despite the contrary currents that now surround us in the contemporary world.
Dr. Shah-Kazemi is a scholar, author, editor, and translator with many publications to his name. His areas of specialization are comparative mysticism, Islamic Studies, Sufism and Shi'ism. Shah-Kazemi is currently Senior Research Associate at the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London.
