Unlike campfire cooking in another world where the Mc just go and cook the monster , but in delicious in dungeon you get to know how the monsters act , what is their biology , and why they live in a place like that which make a foundation to build the world
This anime is gonna be amazing, as a manga reader the story goes from a simple episodic to a deep narrative driven plot. This manga is really good and it'd be great if others checked it out.

And then there's the cutest slime ever to grace anime. That said, I love Studio Trigger. I'll let them cook with this anime, especially with Marcille being so damn cute and funny.

I love how the slime and the tentacles show that they don't do unnecessary sexy stuff. We do get some "shots" throughout the series but never in a flirtatious way.

There is one thing I would like to say about this work. They are skilled adventurers who have reached the lower level of the dungeon where the Red Dragon is. Even if you don't have knowledge about monster food, you do have the knowledge to defeat monsters.
The dub for this one included many English jokes which in my opinion improved the quality of the episode. So if you inquire I'd recommend giving it a try.
The only savory pies I’ve had have been meat pies. I’ve never had a savory fruit pie before, so maybe a tomato-like fruit would work in something like that? Idk
Food porn may not be Nudity (unless you’re in Food Wars), but that tag is for later in the show. Based on the trailer… they’re going into half of the manga for this season (the entire manga is like 97 chapters, and they used 2 chapters for this episode)… some of the monsters they fight are humanoids that are nude. I read a few chapters of the manga back when it started and I might pick it back up now. The food in this really gives me Dragon's Crown food vibes and I love it.
Dungeon Meshi is one of those anime that starts out simplistic, but TRUST me, it'll go places, and you'll be glad you stuck around. Keeps the amazing comedic charm the whole way through though.
@@KelShu Like Laios' last statement, the whole story is centered around eating and/or being eaten. There's definitely a HUGE reason why Falin had to be eaten (Also manga reader). Hope you stick around with the story until that makes itself clear, all good if this isn't your type of story though
If you can't wait for the anime, you should read the manga. Believe me, it's great and has such a satisfying conclusion. Even we as the manga reader had finished this series, are happy to be relieving this series from the beginning again through the anime.

So as far as I can tell, the only case of nudity so far comes from one scene in the intro where the sister is in the fetal position, implied being in the stomach of the dragon. Is about as much nudity as one would consider a sailor moon transformation sequence to be nudity. TLDR, I think the nudity rating comes from a glowing body silhouette in the intro/outro.
I wasn't sure if I was gonna watch this series cause the premise didn't interest me when I first heard of it. The I logged onto Netflix and it was my first recommendation so figured why not. I found it alright so I plan on watching more as the episodes come out. I do wonder if a food summoning spell exists in this world cause with Marcille being the spell caster and the most against eating monsters it could be a good way to show her growth or make a conflict with her wanting to get it
Haven’t seen anything about this anime but sounds and looks like Restaurant to Another world, or Campfire cooking in another worlds. Hopefully it’s as good as both of those
This one focuses a lot more on the description of the dungeon and its ecosystem at first and become more plot driven at some point but both parts are great imo
