Yep, pretty common with the shifter. My son now 9 had the same issue. It's fine now. It did take a long time, like months for it to become "normal". Even with boots he found it difficult initially.

Same problem with the shifter... I found an adjustable lever that is about 2cm longer so now it is easier to upshift.. My daughter is 7 and she was struggling but now it is lot better..She uses boots so the position of the lever was adjusted a little bit higher...this is the only issue we had and we use it on track over a year now and it has about 100hrs...

Hi, I bought the 125SE today and exactly same issue - even with my biker boots its very hard to shift it for me as an adult : /
I really need to try hard and focus, loosing a lot of moment, and hurting my feet. Certainly not well made.
Cant imaging my son being able to shift.
Rest of the bike is awesome.
I was surprised how well it can handle my 86kgs and how powerful it is.

Needs lighter clutch springs, they sell them with stiff springs, good for heavier rider so it doesn't slip but yes it makes it stiff

I think YCF is a French brand, I do not know where the bikes are manufactured, but the design is French

Hi my kid has this bike nw Christmas before last the gear shifter was so hard to shift I pulled gear shifter out a lil bit made it easier to shift, I see everybody taking out silencer in back exhaust is this better healthy for pitbike

40hrs in no better with the shifting. Had to do the same with my kids, whack them in 4th and let them go.
