What about putting these inbetween a secondary glazing unit and the original window to help dampen the soundwaves even more. Before the sound enters the room through the secondary pane ?. Similar to the clap test where a more muted sound is heard
Hi @jessicadawson1239 Yes you could use acoustic treatment panels bewteen sets of windows. It will help to reduce any echo / resonance in the air gap bewteen the windows.
Hi The Harvester Project, thanks for taking the time to comment. There were absolutely no audio effects, compressors or noise gates used on this video. The acoustic panels have been used to reduce flutter reverberation within the room which will make the room sound drier. The aim of the acoustic panels in this office environment is to improve clarity of conversation making it a more productive environment for meetings and conference calls, which it has certainly done.
seal the door, window gaps, etc. any hole, then use rockwool inside. and caulk, works great, tho myself i cant have a soundproof room , the temptation to USE IT would be irresistible....
Hi mos8541, you've obvislouly been doing some soundproofing research and they are valid points. Unfortunately this video isn't about soundproofing. These panels aren't going to stop sound from getting in or out. They are for acoustic treatment, reducing the echo and reverberation within the room. A different problem needing a different approach. But when we are soundproofing a room sealing gaps and windows etc are very important.

Don't mean be the only comment on here and it be a negative one but that after sound clip sounds so unnatural. Almost like a noise gate closing.
