For me, Fiesta is still king. (I drive the last gen model). Features that come as standard on the Fiesta in Zetec and above trim such as: Quickclear heated windscreen would make me choose a Ford any day of the week. It is so good to never de-ice your windscreen, however never gets mentioned on any car reviews. This car improves on the weak points of the old car, and it may not be for everyone however for most people it will be great. I also like how they’ve improved a brilliant 1 litre engine even more, superb.
The Mk7 Fiesta is my first (and current) car, and I think the new one improves on all the weak points of the old one, whilst keeping all that was great, although I understand people who aren't too sure about the rear design.
Can't beat a ford fiesta for a small car, I have had them since i started driving, tbh first one i hated (a 2000 model), but the 2006 model was nice and i brought a 2012 model and loved it and didnt need to upgrade but i saw this and couldnt not buy it the inside is by far the best its ever been.... altho the rear parking sensors do NOT come as standard on titanium cos i have a titanium version and i don't have them and was told it was £300 to have them fitted...
Shiny piano black dashboard trim is one of the worst recent design fads. Don't know why car makers think having shiny dashboard trim to reflect sunlight at the driver is a good idea. Looks horrible and cheap IMO. Even some of the more expensive brands are doing it now.
The Ibiza is better quality? Is this chick for real? The hard plastics in that thing are abundant. It's really a step down compared to the previous Ibiza, whereas the new Fiesta improved in every way.
‘Hard plastics’ why the preoccupation? They are practical, clean up easily, cheaper to produce. In a family car, you need this practicality. Testers do not seem to appreciate the compromises that have to be met in meeting the price/benefit ratio to bring the product to market.
Mixed bag in the looks department, too pricey compared to rivals but no doubt it will be praised for it’s driving dynamics and fun factor. Personally I think it’s too expensive and there are better options available.
I don't like the new interior. It looks like someone threw an Ipad at the dash, and the dials are boring compared to the old car. It looks like quality is improved though which is a good thing.
It's Only Me I suppose so, but it only takes 0.9 seconds off the 0-60 time. Hardly seems worth the effort of offering two different outputs, I wonder what the price difference is?
Jamie Pickles Ibiza Fr is way cheaper in the interior then the Fiesta St Line. Because of that i bought the Fiesta.

I recently purchased a new Seat Ibiza Xcellence and am very happy with it. I test drove the Fiesta and concluded that the Ibiza was much better put together.
Id rather walk than buy a fiesta. The last fiesta looked good till they added the hideous grille. Id never consider buying a ford from any later than 2013
It's too big and too high sided for a fiesta. How does it drive compared to the previous model? I bet it's slower and less agile in the twisty stuff too. Please prove me wrong.
The mk8 is like the mk6 fiesta just smoother but I would never ever think about buying this fiesta as my mk7 is more better and the interior is better than having an iPad slammed on the dash :/
That is true, although the driving experience can't be matched with. Tried all the superminis before making my choice. Also the system is more natural and easier/more ergonomical in the Fiesta. Both are overpriced im my opinion tho.
It looks sooo ugly from the front!! The design was perfect in the 2010 version... shame, it went downhill after that... first it was a cheap Austin Martin rip-off and now... don’t even know what to call it... looks horrendous!!!
This far into the ecoboosts age I cant believe these reviewers dont mention the wet belt mess people will likley find themselves in, espeacially when buying a used one. Apart from that though great car
Bootspace with seats up: 292L
Those specs displayed at 1:13 are for the automatic version, NOT the manual.

Not sure the constant music in the background adds anything.
It adds fucking annoyance.
It goes along with her voice like she is singing...
Good music in the background made me sleep. I had to watch again.

The back seats are a disappointment. It is very cramp back there
Rebecca should join Mat in carwow.
He's too good to be dragged down by her. Matt is premier league...she is league 1 standard.
Paul Tenorio They've made videos together.
She better off by herself.

That boot second floor seems so odd. Is there a low limit to how much you can put on such a flimsy looking removable panel?
The Ibiza is better quality? Is this chick for real? The hard plastics in that thing are abundant. It's really a step down compared to the previous Ibiza, whereas the new Fiesta improved in every way.
Ibiza is cheap plastic all the way. Would not buy it.

Why the overpowering background Music always just 3 chords!

And your opinion on the car?
Tim Smith haha..
Looks nicer than the bland VW golf
I think the mk 7.5 looks nicer
I don't like the new interior. It looks like someone threw an Ipad at the dash, and the dials are boring compared to the old car. It looks like quality is improved though which is a good thing.
Where is my banana????????????????
Why do they even bother offering 2 outputs from the 1.1 NA engine with only 15hp difference?
15hp is a lot in respect to 70
It's Only Me I suppose so, but it only takes 0.9 seconds off the 0-60 time. Hardly seems worth the effort of offering two different outputs, I wonder what the price difference is?
This is my dream car, the colour especially 😂
The former model looked much better. And the new can't be had with 2 doors.
John Grytbakk yes it can I've seen plenty of them already...
I've been told they can only be had with 4 doors. ...maybe it's just in some countries then.... I don't know.
Can definitely get them in a 3 door in the UK. I've seen more 3 than 5 door ones about.
Great review Rebecca...
Nice review
I liked the way you gave information keep smile
The Seat Ibiza Is the one I would choose
Jamie Pickles Ibiza Fr is way cheaper in the interior then the Fiesta St Line. Because of that i bought the Fiesta.
I recently purchased a new Seat Ibiza Xcellence and am very happy with it. I test drove the Fiesta and concluded that the Ibiza was much better put together.
Fiesta ST is the top choice
i agree with you, the seat is the only car in this class that looks sporty and for young people like me :D
Id rather walk than buy a fiesta. The last fiesta looked good till they added the hideous grille. Id never consider buying a ford from any later than 2013
Why do some Fiesta's have a red dot above the "i" , and some don't ?
It's too big and too high sided for a fiesta. How does it drive compared to the previous model? I bet it's slower and less agile in the twisty stuff too.
Please prove me wrong.
It’s still good to drive thankfully but a bit heavier
I need the diesel engine, I gat issues with injection, any seller willing to ship to Kenya?
The British commoner wagon ✔️
#Get breakdown cover 🎯
The Fiesta is the Anglia of our era.
No more mobile phone pairing? Cold from me 😂
fun chun I know...thank god
What’s the refinement like ?
I hope ford increase the rear of the sedan version that's due for launch in Asia and Latin America
Rebecca; excellent presenter; just excellent. Thanks; very informative.
I have a MK6 1.4 TDCI and I love the headlights
I'd go for either the Mazda2 or new Seat Ibiza.
I still cannot fathom that Prince Harry chose Meghan over you. I would not make that mistake!
She loves herself too much! AND could you really put up with that voice? C'mon!
The music spoils an otherwise good review. It's annoying and distracting.
It's a good car but his price are very high
The sat nav is now on the zetec for. £500 extra.
The Mk7 fiesta is great to drive, however I am not sure on this new fiesta
The mk8 is like the mk6 fiesta just smoother but I would never ever think about buying this fiesta as my mk7 is more better and the interior is better than having an iPad slammed on the dash :/
Think Rebecca is the best female car presenter - very professional and focused and no stupid references to her 6'3" cameraman...!
Good review Rebbeca, you must upgrade your hair style.
Best regards.
boot reviews need to be more...umm comprehensive ..if you know what i mean :))
Manele Nation ...best part of the review!
i think she should have also have worn her knee hight boots ;-)
5 foot four of scrummyness.
Enough room for 2 adults to sit comfortably?? Enough power to krep you on the move?? Sounds biased to me...
2018 but has a 2017 plate?
I love Rebecca's reviews.
Know what I mean, wink wink LOL
She's a babe
She looks 40
Overpriced and poor use of interior space. New Polo is roomier and has a better interior.
That is true, although the driving experience can't be matched with. Tried all the superminis before making my choice. Also the system is more natural and easier/more ergonomical in the Fiesta. Both are overpriced im my opinion tho.
Nicolau Afonso Nothing as of yet, can beat the fiesta on the way it drives
Give me the Polo any day over this fiesta, it looks dated already
rebecca best elegant british women
It looks dull. The ST Is the best spec.
I think the Corsa is a better car overall. Fiesta is a bit overrated coming from a Ford owner myself.
Icansee u The Corsa is a 10 year old car that's had more facelifts than Joan Rivers. It looks hideous now.
The Corsa is ancient, it's the same car underneath as the one that was released in 2006
And does not drive as well
Id choose the corsa than the Seat Ibiza
How old is she?
She's 35 this year. Born on 1982.
DISLIKE no banana
Such a squeaky, young girly voice, so irritating.
She knows her stuff, is professional and pretty but you know that already.
Painful to listen too.
this comment is painful to read
@@gamesmaster1060 Ha ha, who hurt you?

ravs05
*Aston Martin
ravs05 You call it a rip off, but Ford and Aston Martin are related.

Peugeot 208 is so much above everything else in this segment.
yeah good at breaking down
alan scott yeah, breaking down its competition
Mine hasn't... I suppose there's always time, eh? (then again, that goes for any car)
No you haven't.
g00dfeeling No. The new Myvi looks much better and reliable.
It's a granny car in disguise
This wife is hotter than the car
