Got to say what kind of trainer even gives his second the option to throw the towel in? Deas isn't this level and should never have been training Wilder as a pro, they got away with it through Wilder's physical gifts and the level of opposition before Fury. At the top level the head trainer needs to be on point over everything, Deas has just coasted through the job.
@Ian Morris Music I think the ref was close to stopping it in the 5th and would've been well within his rights to. Wilder stumbled after that last exchange and with the bad 5th round, Fury looking tired after the 6th but then looked good as new in the 7th I think Brealand did the right thing.

The Fury we saw today will easily smash AJ. I mean even Wilder will probably beat AJ. As AJ takes too many shots and Wilder will make him pay for it. I think part of the reason why the corner threw the towel was because of Wilder's ruptured eardrums. More than half of Wilder's focus was going to the pain in his head. His legs were already gone.
