I pre-ordered the deluxe expanded version 5cd/2dvd here in Finland through Recordstore X but unfortunatelely the distributor ordered too few copies to Finland so I never got my copy. They ordered more copies but it was already sold out. But Cherry Red has said that they will press more copies, so hopefully it won't take too long and I get my copy soon. Can't wait.
I oredered mine from Cherry Red too. Hope to get it soon. Glad they started to send the box-set all over.
Can you put one of the DVDs into your DVD player for us to see what the videos on TV look like, please?
I'm not sure they have started sending the boxes. Mine was sent on July 21st, but it was a promotional copy.
I will upload some screenshots later on my society board on UA-cam.
@@WildeTapes Yes, they have started sending the boxes. I asked them in an e-mail a couple of weeks ago and they said to me they are sending them a few days before release. Hopefully I should get in on the 6th or just a few days after as they said. Postal delays are possible too.

My only gripe is the crappy cardboard sleeves for the discs. I'd rather have plastic jewel cases - or at the very least have the discs clip into plastic trays attached to the cardboard sleeves. Just look at how those discs are going to get marked/scratched/damaged with the amount of effort it clearly took to take out and put back in. ;-(
HATE NTSC. But it clearly says PAL on the box!
Bearing in mind the majority of her market will surely be European, WHY convert to shitty NTSC with it's juddering, lower resolution and funny colours? I despair at record companies. I really do.
Believe me, I did my best to convice them to release this DVDs in PAL, but well...
Yes, it says PAL on the box, but NTSC on disc. And my DVD player also recognize it as NTSC.

How’s the picture quality of the videos?
It's PAL file converted into deinterlanced NTSC, 4:3 pillarboxed. Honestly - it's good, but could be better.
All videos came from master tapes.

Nice item, but it's annoying that the majority of the videos are 4:3, and not 16:9. So you have the annoying black lines on either side of the screen. Plus the card sleeves are so stiff. For fear of tearing the sleeves, or the discs getting scratched, I've put each disc into an individual slim CD case.
@danny6092 If they were transformed into 16:9 full screen, they would be cropped at upper and bottom. It's better to left them in original ratio aspect (4:3) in my opinion. The problem is that they aren't 4:3 on this DVD, but 16:9 pillarboxed, so the resolution is not full 4:3 720x576 but about 540x576 (well in fact 540x480, because it was converted into NTSC which is real shame... :-(
And you are right about card sleeves, it could be done better.
i just got my box set looks a great set
got mine but the cardboard folders cds and dvds in are hard to get out one of my dvds is scartched not even played it yet and one cd scratched too

It would have to be licensed, and since there were already a lot of licensing issues for this compilation, this one track was not added to the workload.

Hi, i have a doubt about the dvds, for what region are for. as i live in Brazil, here we are at region 4. I am a great Kim´s fan but if I could not watch the dvd so I think is better to pre order just the cds.
You can order a region-free dvd player and can then watch the dvds in Brazil--No problem.
