All very fair points. We just have to see whether or not they Trade Deandre Ayton and see what they do in the draft/trade/free agency and the players they get for their team. Only players I see joining are veterans who are looking to ring chase or young rookies/sophomores just looking to make a team. Sums fans hope that those players can play defense and shoot 3s
Not to mention the Suns were the only team that really put up a fight against Denver, and that was with no Chris Paul, no depth due to the KD trade, and Deandre Ayton playing his worst basketball in his career. KD and Devin Booker singlehandedly took 2 games from the champs, and they were on their way to taking 3 from Denver if Paul hadn't had gotten injured late in that game. Now they're adding Beal and whatever comes out of the Ayton trade? It's too early to crown them, but my money is on Denver or Phoenix next season.
Completely agree. You can always find defensive role players to join a team with 3 stars. To find a guy like Bradley Beal is much harder even when you're willing to give up lots of draft picks and other assets. No brainer.
Funny, how did lebron made money for other nba player? I don’t remember him in any of the CBA negotiations or made any tv deals for the league, which are the main reasons why the nba contracts are so high. So what exactly has he done for the players and league now?
It bothers me so much that Wright goes about Mahomes as Goat because of how is visibly the best ever and has the accolades, but takes Bron over Jordan with the argument of longevity and total Stat accolades and stuff. Watching Jordan in his prime, which span over his whole career by the way, is just different. Like Mahomes is just different. Or like McDavid just looks different on the ice.
He’s inconsistent. It’s entirely too early to compare Mahomes to Brady. If Brady didn’t pull a run of 4 rings in 7 years past the age of 37, then Mahomes would almost certainly be in the debate. Brady’s longevity is different than Lebron’s because Brady kept winning to go along with his stats. Bron hasn’t. And Nick hates it.
@@Cheif_Espada For every failure Jordan had, Lebron has more than doubled the failure rate. Do remember that and keep it in close range. 12 games swept. TWO 4-1 gentleman sweeps. 20% of entire career missed the playoffs. This is not about Michael. This is about LeQueen Bronze

U still give up depth bcuz they took on Beals contract. That's y everyone is saying they have to trade ayton for depth, no one is talking about them signing players for depth bcuz they don't have the money to pay for it
@@JM-Nyne with or without beals contract they are over the cap, so, they can not sign free agents freely. They can only sign free agents throught minimum contracts, and exceptions like the mid level exception and their own free agents with the rules of the current cba (Bird rules, etc). So, in the end, beals contract doesn't affect directly who they can sign...
@leonardoyi3183 Not disputing anything u said bcuz everything u stated was an absolute fact, the only thing I will throw at u is what is meant when we say depth. Depth is when u have enough bodies to build rotations that can constantly contribute, ideally 8-10 total players. Having 11 minimum level players isn't really going to create that depth that they need. Now if they didn't have Beals contract they have a little more to spend and play with. No matter what they will not be looked at as a deep team this season but not look as depleted as they are now.
@@JM-Nyne they would have the same problem without trading for beal. They had commited before the beal trade 147.8 millions (its still over the cap), and thats taking into account the 15 million they would have saved by cutting chris paul. Their free agents are mostly minimum salary players without much value, so, they would also need to sign 10 to 11 players to rookie contracts, minimum salary and contract exceptions. Trading Ayton may help them in their depth so a certain extent..
"Bradley Beal doesn't make Suns title contenders". How appropriate. He is after all on the downside of the bell curve - see his GP and PTS stats. It does not get any simpler than that.
Colin, I heard you say that Jamal Murray was a classic shooting guard. Watch him a little bit closer. He is an all around guard! He played point guard for most of the year. He also plays good defense. He is not just a shooting guard
The coach’s attitude could be better. They already won… gloating is so very unnecessary. On the other hand, we appreciate the champion players’ attitude of humility and being down to earth… just focusing on the game and keeping it on the hardcourt where it matters.
They were already title contenders without him, it was the only team that went to game 6 against Denver, Nick would say the Lakers were title contenders and they got swept

Only players I see joining are veterans who are looking to ring chase or young rookies/sophomores just looking to make a team. Sums fans hope that those players can play defense and shoot 3s
very well said, great comment
No brainer.
Nick dressed like a mortician is pretty hilarious and somehow appropriate given his seriousness…he-he.
Nah Nick, Lebron has made YOU rich lol
Funny, how did lebron made money for other nba player? I don’t remember him in any of the CBA negotiations or made any tv deals for the league, which are the main reasons why the nba contracts are so high. So what exactly has he done for the players and league now?
Nick is obsessed with downplaying Michael Jordan’s career in order to make a point about lebron. It’s kinda sad.
Phoenix Sun's has to win NBA championship or be bust with KD being the Bua driver.
Except KD isn't even the bus driver. Anyone who watched a single second of the Suns in the playoffs knows Booker is their leader.
Collin beinh collin 😂
Nick tries to make any argument for Lebron over Jordan, you will never win buddy 😅
Next “super” team is gonna be Jokic, Embiid and Adebayo 🤣
Nick looking like Meg griffin is hilarious.
12:27 Nick is so delusional, no one brings up Jordan’s shoes when we’re talking about BALL
Yes they do wtf are u talking about?!? I literally had this conversation with my brother in law like two weeks ago.
@@Cheif_Espadayou actually talk about MJ shoes when discussing his greatness in basketball? You must be one of the idiots nick is talking about
Nick's love for Bron is blinding
Colin makes really good points sometimes.👍🏾 more often than not.
But not about basketball. Colin is very good on football.
Thank you Michael Malone. Lefraud has been swept. Nikola Sweep'aQueenovic' is yo daddy. Just call him big papa
Is that what Mike calls Bird? Is that what he calls Pippen?
@@Cheif_Espada For every failure Jordan had, Lebron has more than doubled the failure rate. Do remember that and keep it in close range. 12 games swept. TWO 4-1 gentleman sweeps. 20% of entire career missed the playoffs. This is not about Michael. This is about LeQueen Bronze
@@Cheif_EspadaNo one wins right away, once MJ started the winning trayectory he never went down. Lebron lost a lot in his prime and with superteams. Not the same lad.
@@Marlowe10100 why y’all say superteams but don’t acknowledge the Bulls as a superteam? What trash rosters were they playing against? They always had the best 3-4 players on the court, once Daddy Pippen got there. Why does no one say anything?
@@chickhearn4ever779 Bro there’s REAL squads now. It’s not easy to win in todays game. Historically, the NBA hasn’t been like this ever.
Nick was on 🔥 with his take
They didn’t figure it out - they were a lucky 2 for 4 !!!
I have never judged the MJ/Lebron debate on anything other than their on-court performance. I don't know who Nick is debating with, but I've never heard anyone say MJ is better than Lebron because of his shoes or bald head. That is ridiculous!
Say what you want and be as biased as you want but Nick tells the truth.
love these guys, always a laugh and great analysis from them
Nick spittin
He definitely make them contenders the ball about to swing all night
Health is the only issue
The only people that count his sneaker sales in with his playing career are haters like Nick Wrong! 🤡
LeBron is not on Jordan's level. Stop it.
Lmao they really try so hard
How is he not? He’s the only player who is compared to his greatness 😂😂
@@kg7040 from some sports commentators
If Nick says Beal doesn't make the Suns a title contender, well, it's a good bet the Suns will probably be in the Finals.
LeCrybaby is a DB. People that aren’t in the media and kiss his arse realize this. Lebron is a very unlikable guy. A lot of us can’t wait until he’s gone and that has nothing to do with the goat, MJ.
He’s a great player. That’s what most reasonable hoop fans care about
@@RealRap619 he’s a great individual player. I don’t even have him in my top ten. Individually, he’s great. He has no clutch gene and he wouldn’t have done squat without other big name guys.
@@shawn_derr idk how you don’t have him top ten when he is top 10 in virtually any metric that measures greatness. I’m a Kobe fan but the Lebron isn’t clutch narrative doesn’t stick. By the numbers he’s made more clutch time shots than Kobe or Jordan 🤷🏾♂️ and name a top 10 player who didn’t play with other great players. Only one I can think of is Hakeem
@@RealRap619He hasn’t made more clutch shots than Jordan. His Finals “clutch” moments are horrific. All of his GW shots were early in the series, never a walk-off like 89 Cleveland or 98 Finals.
This is Brooklyn nets all over again 😆
IMAGINE IF NICK WAS ON DAILY
would fit the american way, you guys love to hear brainless stupid people talk and make stupid brainless takes to push agendas that lead nowhere.
Nick kinda called Colin out on his flip flop takes.
I gotta agree that the Suns new owner is playing wild 2k type moves.
Nick . Jordan made basketball global. And his Nike deal. Is the reason LeBron and players are making what they are. Lebrons shoe are out sold 2 to 1 by Jordans. Who has been retired 20 plus years. And 4 rings in 20 years . Is a losing percentage.
We got Kyrie destroying teams like he's collecting rings and we have KD jumping from super team to super team.
Durant is the ultimate ring chaser. His legacy will be that he was a scorer who worked the system and had no loyalty to anyone but himself.
Nick is right ✅️
John Wick 😭😭😭
I have a sneaking suspicion about this team.
Yea but MJs got 6…in the modern era, so that’s that
I have a genuine question, what does “Good enough” mean??? If you are the 5th or 6th best team in the league, you should have a chance to win. You don’t have to have the best odds to win a title
That way if looking doesn't really work when it comes down to the NBA the past decade consisted of lebron vs golden state u wonder why? Because they were the best
i'm not really sure about the depth thing. CP3 was on his way out of phoenix, if he wasn't traded he was gonna be waived. So basically, it was a trade for shamet and second round picks. What is the depth, the second round picks?
The title of "Malone-LeBron beef" proves that Malone was taking shots at the media coverage, not Lebron. There is no beef. Just click bait.
"Bradley Beal doesn't make Suns title contenders". How appropriate. He is after all on the downside of the bell curve - see his GP and PTS stats. It does not get any simpler than that.
The only thing Leflop is better at is longevity, thanks to modern medicine and steroids. In his prime he couldn't hold MJs jockstrap.
Colin, I heard you say that Jamal Murray was a classic shooting guard. Watch him a little bit closer. He is an all around guard! He played point guard for most of the year. He also plays good defense. He is not just a shooting guard
How can Nick just refer to PatMcfee show as "a UA-cam show" pretty disrespectful.
That's right Pat McAfee built his own show. Wright is a company man working for networks.
Trade Ayton for Clint Capella and Bogdan Bogdanocic maybe?
Colin definitely not taking J mac to the UFC fight.😂😂😂
The coach’s attitude could be better. They already won… gloating is so very unnecessary. On the other hand, we appreciate the champion players’ attitude of humility and being down to earth… just focusing on the game and keeping it on the hardcourt where it matters.
Why is Nick still on TV ?
They were already title contenders without him, it was the only team that went to game 6 against Denver, Nick would say the Lakers were title contenders and they got swept
The Lakers lost 3 of those games in the last minute of the game by less than 5 points. The Nuggets blew out the Suns 3 times!
than you nick
Kd will be remembered as the guy that shouldn't of left gsw
LeBron should invite Nick Wright over for a Taco Tuesday sometime
I would of rather traded Chris Paul for Steven Adams someone to play defense. Why in the heck would they need Bradley Beal
People (and LeBron lovers specifically) can hate on Jordan all they want, but the man went six for six in the NBA Finals *AND HAD NOT JUST ONE BUT TWO THREE-PEATS.* That means something. 🤷🏻♂️
😂 Leclown, Lefloop, LeRECRUIT...
Because NBA contracts are guaranteed and the fact that players earn so much I never understand why they don’t go to free agency for every contract or at least get a player option after a year or two. Having the ability to play wherever you want is extremely underrated🤷🏿♂️
Nick looks like a bond villian.
Dude said dr J was in the conversation with KD is a joke. Someone take this guy off TV lmao
