It's always fun watching these types of videos. A lot of the times when I watch the Amoeba "What's in my bag" videos, most musicians find the most obscure shit and praise it as like the basis of their band and I'm just like I can't relate to this old country record from the 60s or this random pop artist from 1973 that only had a single you love for some reason, but I like that these dudes picked a lot of hardcore and bands that they're into and actually relate to their music. Discovered a bunch of new bands with them!!
i saw these guys live at a terror show in houston and instantly got hooked
Tuesdays with tay.. bring it back.
*more of this series this 2022 please*
Pale Saints playing at the background while they are paying their records. Awesome.
I was looking for the name of that band playing!! Thanks a lot. Do you know which record is it?
@@ghettoskramzer Don't remember the album where it is, but the song is called Featherframe
@@Stonedead1991 I guess the album is "In Ribbons". You made my day! :)
Love these kids. Pa forever.
10:00 he's about to discover one of the best post-rock bands and I'm excited about it :') Sick selection!!
Watch OSC change their direction after his discovery of them haha
@@nathanh1949 Explosions In The Sky
I'm tried with this band, not that it's bad by any means, but everyone recommends EITS but I'm just not a huge instrumental guy and I can't get into em. I like the music, but idk just wish there was a singer you know.
I'm actually shocked he didn't know what it was
They didn't even mention the Karate and Unbroken records on the wall. This video made me feel very old.
heaven forbid their taste doesn't align with yours!
@@psychwardsandSCENE I was joking. Calm down. They listen to Turning Point, so their taste can't be too far off the mark.
@@japanesetoenglish "calm down" you seem to be projecting a little bit, big guy!
Yeah I instantly noticed Life. Love. Regret. on the wall. I don't think these guys are super big metalcore fans. More into things like Turing Point, The Get Up Kids and Title Fight which is perfectly good stuff. Unbroken and straight edge go hand in hand so it's suprising they didn't at least mention it though.
These dudes can't legally drink. They probably don't listen to Unbroken.
love this band
Love your shoutout for Turnover! One of my all-time favorites
Liked that they really open talk about stuff they dont know, but they should open their minds on other type of music

dude, Explosions in the sky... gotta check them out
Bands like them and This Will Destroy You really opened my eyes to a whole other way of playing music. So much ambience and emotion with few to no words
what is the record around 5:40 he's talking about?
Diary by Sunny Day Real Estate, perfect record tbh
@@CorentinLC cheers!
