What’s funny is that I’ve heard Family Feud Africa is like the #1 show in the African countries where they film, so a lot of Africans must love them some Steve Harvey! 😊
7:33 I think he said Akuapem, which is a dialect... honestly I would have said Twi or Fante since those are the dialect my family speaks Edit: I didn't notice that Twi was already up there on the board... And technically Akuapem is a dialect of Akan 11:01 Ghana's traditional monarchy is matrilineal instead of patrilineal so if the king dies, the successor would come from the king's SISTER'S family, most likely her son. I cannot really explain it that well since I was born here in the States but that's my understanding of it.
For the girl who said "tired" for lifting the leg - I can understand that. If you are standing at a job all day, when you get tired sometimes raising a leg helps (not in a Captain Morgan stance, like Steve did). Sometimes the clips are funny, but he definetly came off as kind of jerk in some of these.
Steve Harvey is kinda hit or miss for me. Sometimes he's hilarious, and sometimes I'm just like, "OK, let's get on with it". Sometimes it seems like he's the only one laughing at his jokes.
Steve makes fun of a lot of accents including different ones in the US. He has an accent that makes it obvious he’s from the inner city/hood so I highly doubt he is being condescending. People who are over sensitive shouldn’t go on the show. It did sound to me like that guy said pasta. 😂
Kabir, the dude was saying "a billet of steel." Steel comes in manufactured chunks called a "billet." A CNC machine cuts them to programmed shapes to make parts.
The contestant stated he cuts a (billet). This is the ingot that the metal is formed in when it is poured from the furnace. Further processes will shape into bars, pipe, and wire. The gentleman was correct in his reference using a good technical term, Mr. Harvey was the one showing his ignorance of the industrial processes.
Thank! Kabir for your reaction to Family Feud: Steve Harvey VS African Accents. It was hilarious to see Steve try to understand wanted the contents were saying to him.

Yes, you are correct, at least in the U.S. However, it could be different across the globe where religious diversity might not be as common as it is in other countries. . In the U.S. a "wedding celebrant" does not officiate religious (non-secular) marriage ceremonies. A "secular or civil" ceremony can be officiated by numerous government officials including judges, justice of the peace, city clerks, notaries and more. Or, anyone interested in being "ordained" to perform a wedding ceremony(s). It's an easy online process with a fee. No specific knowledge or background required.
