Here's a trick to this: That's if you've tried what I recommend in this video. Hover over the Settings on the left of your dashboard and select General. The email in the "Administration Email Address" Copy that and paste it into the "From Email" field. Save your changes and give it another try. That should take care of things. Let me know if this works for you instead.

Not particularly.. Its got to be a live site I believe. Unless of course you've configured your mail settings properly on the localhost. (I believe LOCAL by Flywheel offers that, I haven't given it a try though) If you don't use LocalWP already you might want to give it a try.

The title of this tutorial is wrong and misleading, change to title and just remove Not from the title. Thanks reported as misleading.
