6:22 - Ah hah! I thought I should be able to weight a category. Doesn't explain why I can't, but now I'm happy that "It is supposed to work the way it should work and I'm not crazy." So mine is broke. That's good to know.
Thank you for the great video. Now i know that my grade book is not wrong. But i am having trouble with calculated weight/contribution to course total in the user report. It is displaying different for every student. Based on grade book, i have set the restriction access to my course custom certificate to >=70% of course total. As soon as i take one activity custom certificate is getting enabled. Am very new to moodle. Please suggest what should i do.
Thank you for the video! If the values of each item within a category have the same point values, do we need to change the categories to weighted means, or can we just leave it at simple weighted mean?
