Definitely helps that the singer has a great voice too; I could listen to the song on its own and still enjoy it but the animatic really makes it so much better.

This was a really nicely done video and I do appreciate the ending as a reminder that Peter is a dangerous person and there isn't a happy ending with this kind of obsession. Actual love is about understanding, support, and treating each other like equals. It's not I have to talk to every second because we all need our space and your partner you be able to hear what you are saying and listen to so if it's a no then it's no. Literally the least romantic thing imaginable is someone who can't even pay attention to what you are saying and then claim to know what you need and love you and when you call them out on it like they gaslight you into think your the bad partner. for anyone whose like "but Peter is so charming" that's the point! That's how they reel you so you feel all safe and when you finally realize the dangers it's already too late. No one would want to date him if he was an obvious obsessive psycho from the beginning

First of all, you wouldn't believe how many emotions I go through when I see this. Everything about it really draws me in. And if I wasn't already a fan of the game, I would find out what it's all about at the speed of light based on this vid. Your drawing style is so incredibly cute and, in my opinion, captures exactly what it is about Peter that originally made me want to find out about him. And his behavior here is so charming and you can see him and his twisted mind in it, but you're also thinking WTF the whole time xD What I'm saying is, this 'version' of him from you feels exactly like ingame Peter to me, though of course there's a certain amount of comic relief built into your video that you don't find like that in the game. But if there was a "YB - light" version or something, I would be personally offended if he didn't act exactly like that! I mean, only he would be happy about a toilet paper roll against his head, and probably only because Y/N had it in their hand. Indirect touch! XD Or his cat-like sneaking up on Y/N before snatching them ❤ And now the absolute best.... What I like so much is the pacing in terms of Y/N's attitude towards him. At first they are still annoyed and rather distraught. But I felt like I was getting weak for him at the same time as Y/N (although I already find Peter um, ... fascinating 24/7 anyway) And by "Sardine" at the latest, I had glowing cheeks and a big grin myself. I know the song itself sets that scene, but somehow it seems so fitting for him! He likes animals, as has been confirmed several times on Tumblr, including cats. X) When he pulls Y/N up on the table and TK loses his cool, I had to laugh out loud, but at the same time almost whimper with excitement. This scene is so adorable and cheesy - Oh GOD just pure love. His smile is the thing that always turns my brain off. OOOH MY GOOOOSH YEEEEEEEES!!!!! i honestly don't know what to say but oh god am i so happy you took the time to comment this, i fricking love reading big comments they make me so happy (when i saw the wall of text i was ecstatic!!!) 🌹(btw I'm gonna talk about all the stuff i was thinking while making this. i hope me explaining everything doesn't take away from your enjoyment of the animatic)🌹 first off thank you for talking about peters behavior here, i looked into the bf wiki to get more info while i was making this. (it's how I found out about his love for cats) as for peters behavior i wanted to make him psychotic but sweet, like chaotically in love. he constantly changes his demeanour left to right, one moment he's kind and sweet, the next he's mean and aggressive, which gives off mixed signals to yn and the audience. and for the comedic aspect of it, if you take everything peter is doing and look at it realistically it's the textbook definition of stalking. (From 0:31 to 0:48 there are about four red flags in that sequence alone, see if you can spot em) but it's all framed as cute and funny, so you don't think about it and play it off as him being silly. as for the pacing of yn slowly liking peter, i wanted to make it organic and make sense. in the first act theyr'e annoyed and creeped out by him, rejecting his advances. (He just walked into the diner randomly with flowers asking yn to date him) but peter pushes on, not backing down. at the middle you see yn starting to tolerate him, kinda accepting that he won't leave. BUT ITS THE THIRD ACT WHERE THINGS GET INTRESTING the part when yn laughs at peters sardine joke is when they start liking him and gets interested, it's also the part where peter is genuinely happy and in love with them as peter stands on the table, yn starts to see him in a different light. he isn't creepy or weird, just misunderstood, and he genuinley loves them. (at 0:38 he squeals at their sneeze) the outward display of affection peter shows torwards yn and everything up to this point makes them finally fall head over heels and ignore the red flags. i mean you can't see red in rose tinted glasses ;) (also, the tongue part is the most replayed part of the video lmao) as for tk being mad, yes he's jealous but THEYRE LITERALLY STANDING ON THE TABLE!! EVERYONE IS LOOKING AT THEM😂😂 by all means his anger is justified. but he's still secretly jealous tho lol at the end when they get off the table, peter gives them the flowers again which puts everything full circle as yn smiles and it cuts to black. Actual love is about understanding, support, and treating each other like equals. It's not I have to talk to every second because we all need our space and your partner you be able to hear what you are saying and listen to so if it's a no then it's no. Literally the least romantic thing imaginable is someone who can't even pay attention to what you are saying and then claim to know what you need and love you and when you call them out on it like they gaslight you into think your the bad partner. for anyone whose like "but Peter is so charming" that's the point! That's how they reel you so you feel all safe and when you finally realize the dangers it's already too late. No one would want to date him if he was an obvious obsessive psycho from the beginning
thanks im glad you liked the video, also your observations on his behaviour are valid, throughout the vid you can spot moments where peter's persona fades but comes back, he also repeatedly broke yn boundries (following them in the bathroom, going behind the encounter ect) to make them used to it. as for the ending i did it so people would remember this stuff isnt romantic and to serve as whiplash from the cuteness

It's extra awful because in the context of the actual musical Ogie's such a sweetheart and his words are a great comfort to Dawn who, prior to their date, was so scared he'd get to know her and reject her or she'd love him and he'd reject her. Her fears were alleviated by his devotion to not leave her. YB being completely obsessed and unstable just twists the nature and loving meaning behind the song. First of all, you wouldn't believe how many emotions I go through when I see this.
Everything about it really draws me in. And if I wasn't already a fan of the game, I would find out what it's all about at the speed of light based on this vid.
Your drawing style is so incredibly cute and, in my opinion, captures exactly what it is about Peter that originally made me want to find out about him.
And his behavior here is so charming and you can see him and his twisted mind in it, but you're also thinking WTF the whole time xD
What I'm saying is, this 'version' of him from you feels exactly like ingame Peter to me, though of course there's a certain amount of comic relief built into your video that you don't find like that in the game. But if there was a "YB - light" version or something, I would be personally offended if he didn't act exactly like that!
I mean, only he would be happy about a toilet paper roll against his head, and probably only because Y/N had it in their hand. Indirect touch! XD
Or his cat-like sneaking up on Y/N before snatching them ❤

What I like so much is the pacing in terms of Y/N's attitude towards him. At first they are still annoyed and rather distraught. But I felt like I was getting weak for him at the same time as Y/N (although I already find Peter um, ... fascinating 24/7 anyway)
And by "Sardine" at the latest, I had glowing cheeks and a big grin myself.
I know the song itself sets that scene, but somehow it seems so fitting for him! He likes animals, as has been confirmed several times on Tumblr, including cats. And that he's stubborn and definitely wouldn't have a problem with a few scratches.... X)
When he pulls Y/N up on the table and TK loses his cool, I had to laugh out loud, but at the same time almost whimper with excitement. This scene is so adorable and cheesy - Oh GOD just pure love. His smile is the thing that always turns my brain off. ( And when I think of Tumblr and therefore you know he's really in love and not just pretending, you don't feel sooooo bad about being attracted to him anymore. Right..? RIGHT??? ...)
And can I just end this by letting out a fangirl scream when he's carrying Y/N in his arms and .... his TONGUE?!!! OMG. Creepy charming bastard.
And then of course we can't not mention the REAL ending. Holly sh*t, it gave me goosebumps. This is exactly what it took to change my thoughts from "wow, such cute animation" to "damn, this is perfect, creepy and fascinating and I will watch it over and over again".
Unfortunately, I'm late to the party ^^" And somehow the hype around Peter seems to have faded away already, which I think is kind of a shame. But the fact that, according to Patreon, Day 4 will probably be released at the end of the month gives me hope that more attention will be paid to him and his disturbingly charming nature again.

first off thank you for talking about peters behavior here, i looked into the bf wiki to get more info while i was making this. (it's how I found out about his love for cats)
as for peters behavior i wanted to make him psychotic but sweet, like chaotically in love. he constantly changes his demeanour left to right, one moment he's kind and sweet, the next he's mean and aggressive, which gives off mixed signals to yn and the audience.
and for the comedic aspect of it, if you take everything peter is doing and look at it realistically it's the textbook definition of stalking. (From 0:31 to 0:48 there are about four red flags in that sequence alone, see if you can spot em) but it's all framed as cute and funny, so you don't think about it and play it off as him being silly.
as for the pacing of yn slowly liking peter, i wanted to make it organic and make sense. in the first act theyr'e annoyed and creeped out by him, rejecting his advances. (He just walked into the diner randomly with flowers asking yn to date him) but peter pushes on, not backing down. at the middle you see yn starting to tolerate him, kinda accepting that he won't leave. BUT ITS THE THIRD ACT WHERE THINGS GET INTRESTING
the part when yn laughs at peters sardine joke is when they start liking him and gets interested, it's also the part where peter is genuinely happy and in love with them
as peter stands on the table, yn starts to see him in a different light. he isn't creepy or weird, just misunderstood, and he genuinley loves them. (at 0:38 he squeals at their sneeze) the outward display of affection peter shows torwards yn and everything up to this point makes them finally fall head over heels and ignore the red flags. i mean you can't see red in rose tinted glasses ;)
(also, the tongue part is the most replayed part of the video lmao)
as for tk being mad, yes he's jealous but THEYRE LITERALLY STANDING ON THE TABLE!! EVERYONE IS LOOKING AT THEM😂😂 by all means his anger is justified. but he's still secretly jealous tho lol
at the end when they get off the table, peter gives them the flowers again which puts everything full circle as yn smiles and it cuts to black. FIN
