@@nicelysaid2665 pacesetters joined in at various stages to keep him on track for the historic 2 hour sub par marathon. Some ran for 10K and other fresh legs joined in for another 10K etc...he was the only one out of them all that ran the entire marathon. Running is a strategy. I found out the hard way when I ran a half marathon. I sprinted out with the pacesetters and a few kms later mangusho (remember him?) passed me like a motorbike..at the end of the day I finished a respectable 77th out of thousands and the first lady was 78th....my motivation not to be beat by a woman lol.

@@tedypedy5793 yes it's free for now but it shouldn't be. Europe should not let these people in. Do these people ever consider the lives of the people already IN europe? No because they are selfish. Africans seem to hate colonisation but don't car about flooding in millions to other continents. Just because the government wants you there it doesn't mean the people do. How would you feel if 5 million europeans moved to Kenya? Replaced all their culture and changed the ethnicity of the popilation forever, until the point that the kenya YOU remember no longer exists and you end up living in an alien world surrounded by people who have no right to the land and whose ancestors did not build it... All i am saying is have some respect for the ethnic europeans and let them live in peace with their own kind. I have been to africa several times, it is a beautiful place, the people and culture are mesmerising especially the rhythms and dances of local music it is something we europeans could never recreate, however I appreciate that for what it is and wish we can live in a world that protects these cultures and lets people live with their own kind in a safe place they can call home. If thats so wrong to you then so be it.

So I ran a marathon last weekend and it took me nearly 6 hrs. The pain was anything I had ever experienced. I just can't imagine how anyone would run under two hours. I guess only Elid Kipchoge!! 🙌

6 hours is still good! This man will have a very rare genetic make up meaning he creates no lactic acid meaning no muscle fatigue so he is effectively pre disposed to running.

Like Bannister’s breaking of the sub 4-minute mile barrier, the true gift of Kipchonge’s sub 2-hour marathon is that now people everywhere know that IT’S POSSIBLE!

WAIT IF THEY STARTED TOGETHER AND HE MADE IT, THEN THE OTHER GUYS ALSO MADE IT 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. OR CUD HAVE MADE IT IF THEY WANTED TO 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔. WHY DIDN'T THE OTHER GUYS MAKE IT AT WILL??????????? IS IT BECAUSE THEY CUDN'T OR THEY DIDN'T WANT TO ?????

I'm Tanzanian and I'm a fan of this great Kipchoge. I give him a big Big UP. The unfortunate is the fact that this competition is not recognized with IAAF so i advise him to break the same record in the recognized competition.

Just to criticize our media, we didn't see him running to the finish line. This video posted by Silly Nation, I mean, Daily Nation is incomplete. It's like not cumming after two hours of immense...you know....On a MORE SEROUS NOTE, none like Eliud Kipchoge, a real human blessing.

One of his workouts would be 4x 10k intervals around 28mins. Forget your UFC fighters, Golfers, Footballers,Tennis players earning millions this beats all of them, try running 70sec every 400m x 105 laps or 13 miles an hour thats 2 half marathons in 1 hr negative split the second half.
