Bro don't compare private bus with RTC bus. Because RTC buses are very safe to travel compare to private bus. RTC buses lo trained and experienced drivers untaruu speed limit kuda untadi . Private bus trained drivers unddaru . Maximum anndaru drink chasii drive chastharu.
So RTC buses are very safe to travel for our friends and family members safely.

Never ever book the last seat of the Volvo bus. Only in some models the last seat is comfortable otherwise the last seat is inconvenient. Once I travelled from manglore to Hyderabad in ksrtc in the last seat for a travel time of 16+ hrs and learnt a lesson

Ticket price of Rs.1100 is very high for the distance of 360 odd Kms. Its a kind of looting by Government.
Bangalore and chennai also almost same distance but KSRTC Airavat Club Class charge only around 700 Rs. Buses also well maintained and far better than APSRTC

In the AC segment for longer journeys, Garuda and Garuda plus buses of APSRTC & TSRTC used to be good and comfortable. But all those buses have become very old with bad seats, foul smell, dirty linen etc. Later Rajdhani AC buses were also introduced. From the beginning, Rajdhani buses are not upto the mark and are never considered as comfortable by the commuters. Unfortunately, these buses were purchased at a very high rate.
Customer should also maintain gud behaviour ... only passengers are broken ac vents not apsrtc...so we should also maintain gud behaviour inside the bus

The problem, particularly in AP and TS is the MVAct.
Provate operators take contract carriage permit and runs the bus services as if all the passengers are booked under one ticket.
Stage carriage permits the operators to book individual seats. This way the operator has to pay tax to RTA per seat rather than per contract.
Being a Govt corporation RTC cannot go beyond the law and operate the services as contract carriages. This is the reason why people hire buses for marriages and other events from RTC, making it cheaper. For the very reason private buses are cheaper in the same segment of long distance over night travel.
Over and above that, a permanent job under government is good for job security of the employee but hindering the work force and their capabilities making the RTC a poorly maintained service.
Hopefully RTC will be revived.

Haha....Same issue i too faced bro....From kurnool to Vijayawada...No AC vents in Indra bus.....Asked to driver....No response....i went to back seat and suffered a lot ...It's Department negligence...

We can't expect comfort in bad roads when you are in the last seat & no push back for last row. Last seat in any bus is very bumpy & we can even experience jumps, it will give lower back pain and STATE RTC are very safe for travel they won't over speed like private 😐 I travelled same from BZA to Vizag same bus, i booked middle seat, I felt good no bad experience, i had push back and was able to have good 3-4 hours sleep. Next time I suggest you to take middle seats. Wish you good luck.
