Disturbed has been my favorite band since I picked up The Sickness back in 2001. I was about 12, it was the first cd I ever bought from a store. Ever since, I just had to buy every album on the day it launched. These guys have changed my life in a very positive way. Love you, Disturbed.

Immortalized just came out a few years ago, it's heavy as hell. And every single song is awesome. Some of the middle parts and breakdowns are absolute GOLD....diamond in fact. Evolution was great too, they needed a softer album to show off David's voice. They aren't a genre so what not. Lol. Can't have a singer like Draiman and never do some ballads. That would be blasphemy.

Why do people claim that? Did no one listen to immortalized? The only one after that is evolution which was a softer album but had some great songs too. Literally they've made ONE softer album and everyone says they haven't made anything heavy lately. The HEAVIEST ALBUM, they have MADE, was immortalized. That was just a few years ago. Probably my favorite song on the album. It best fits the criteria for a song that sounds absolutely like the old Disturbed but doesn't resemble a particular other song to a point where it feels reused. Basically sounds like an unreleased song from Indestructible. I absolutely dig the vibe and it has decent lyrics compared to other songs on the album. Draiman doesn't often use this specific register of his voice but it sounds so good.

A great video that shows the consequences of what can get out of control, what can leave only a black void. But there's another side to it, they can't be separated. That's the feeling your song evokes in me. ✌

All you youngsters warm my heart. I'm 71 years old, I remember when Motorhead, Sabbath and Iron Maiden first came out. I just took my 10 & 6 year old grandsons to a KISS concert in Hartford, CT last summer so you could probably say I'm a solid stoner and metal head. My daughter introduced me to Disturbed at Loco-bazooka in Worcester, MA, and I was hooked. I never have missed a Disturbed concert, and think that not only is the band first class and classic, Draiman's words and performances give me the piece of mind and knowledge that the future of Heavy Metal is safe in his hands. Oooo-ah-ah-ah-ah forever.

This one has such huge Indestructible vibes with a little bit of Believe. This song along with Part of Me (which I think has a huge 10k Fists feel) are definitely the two songs most reminiscent of a younger Disturbed, imo.

From a vocal standpoint, Feeding The Fire is probably the closest to sounding reminiscent of the Believe-era of Disturbed. It's such a powerful standout.
I know my thoughts are different then many because i love all of your incarnations. your music is one of the steps that really drew me into metal when as a kid i didn't really like it. the thing that makes your music so special is not just the beat, riff and heavy notes but it is the story behind each song. that means i love every style you have done. all the way from when your music is heavy like down with the sickness to include the songs that most metal heads hate like your evolution album. I even love the music that is on your Device album. It has opened up my eyes to other bands who are within the Genre of metal. I want to thank you for that. You draw in more then just metal heads to a genre with some amazing voices such as yours. keep up the great work and thank you.
they're certainly one of the most versatile bands I've run across to date. most people can find something of theirs that they'll like. even my mom (70) fell in love with their cover of Sound of Silence, having been a fan of the original S & G rendition for decades.
God damn who is mixing/mastering their stuff. Easily the most true to the original feels of alternative rock mixing. Drums hit wonderfully and mix is just perfection

Definitely the best track on the album so far. Seems to me that this has a similar feel to ten thousand fists, but it's not as heavy - which is a shame. Still, pretty decent compared to evolution.

All you youngsters warm my heart. I'm 71 years old, I remember when Motorhead, Sabbath and Iron Maiden first came out. I just took my 10 & 6 year old grandsons to a KISS concert in Hartford, CT last summer so you could probably say I'm a solid stoner and metal head. My daughter introduced me to Disturbed at Loco-bazooka in Worcester, MA, and I was hooked. I never have missed a Disturbed concert, and think that not only is the band first class and classic, Draiman's words and performances give me the piece of mind and knowledge that the future of Heavy Metal is safe in his hands. Oooo-ah-ah-ah-ah forever.

many may or may not agree but I stand with my conviction that disturbed is the modern day metallica they have redefined the rock genre and have made it there own , speak with such power and conviction to everything that is going on has been or will be.
Why is there no LOVE button?! I don't just LIKE this song: I LOVE it! This doesn't remind of Godsmack of old at all, and that's a good thing! They have never let me down, and this song just brings the heat! Damn!
This one has such huge Indestructible vibes with a little bit of Believe. This song along with Part of Me (which I think has a huge 10k Fists feel) are definitely the two songs most reminiscent of a younger Disturbed, imo.

From a vocal standpoint, Feeding The Fire is probably the closest to sounding reminiscent of the Believe-era of Disturbed. It's such a powerful standout.

I know my thoughts are different then many because i love all of your incarnations. your music is one of the steps that really drew me into metal when as a kid i didn't really like it. the thing that makes your music so special is not just the beat, riff and heavy notes but it is the story behind each song. that means i love every style you have done. all the way from when your music is heavy like down with the sickness to include the songs that most metal heads hate like your evolution album. I even love the music that is on your Device album. It has opened up my eyes to other bands who are within the Genre of metal. I want to thank you for that. You draw in more then just metal heads to a genre with some amazing voices such as yours. keep up the great work and thank you.
they're certainly one of the most versatile bands I've run across to date. most people can find something of theirs that they'll like. even my mom (70) fell in love with their cover of Sound of Silence, having been a fan of the original S & G rendition for decades.

Definitely the best track on the album so far. Seems to me that this has a similar feel to ten thousand fists, but it's not as heavy - which is a shame. Still, pretty decent compared to evolution.
I lost 50lbs 3 years ago listening to Disturbed in the gym. I f**ked up and put the weight back. Now I’m heading back to fitness with some more Disturbed tunes
