This is not from opera but is from Faure's Requiem. It's the very popular Pie Jesu... (sounds like, Pee - ey Yea - zoo). This performance happened in a concert (All Good Things) where Siss really mixes up the genres, singing pop one minute, folk the next, taking in classical and faith songs along the way. She does this in her concerts so she stretches her voice in all directions. Quite demanding. Try reacting to, Carrier of a Secret, from this same concert.
Actually, this one is from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem! Yes, that Andrew Lloyd Webber. His entire Requiem mass is quite good, but the Pie Jesu is by far the most well known bit.
In the original, it's a duet sung by a boy soprano and an adult female soprano, with the full choir on the last verse, really stunning when performed well. Would love to hear Sissel in that setting.
