Every time I see Al Anderson I recall in the mid to late 70s when I first saw him. I thought he was a Jamaican from Kgn. If I heard his voice I would have picked up his accent. Junior Marvin on the other hand I thought was a commercial dread from either the US or England. It was years later with the advent of the Internet and social media that I learnt the truth about either man's background.
Blackwell ripped the good work of the Wailers as a group. Bob Marley was a Rastamam focusing on writing lyrics while the rest of Wailers members were there for contributing to produce finest products.
Bob was the back bone so wen he died that was that they loose focus and started worrying about money they were never interested in WA Bob was doing so ya see how time told the story rip Bob Marley 🙏🙏
A very good question. Now there are 3 bands called the Wailers. One is led by Aston Barrett's son, another by Al Anderson, the third I don't know who. They are all struggling, only playing concerts and not able to release albums that catches public attention. IF THE BAND DID MOST OF THE WORK HOW COME WHEN BOB DIED THEY STOP MAKING GREAT MUSIC,?
Bob Marley was the brains behind the whole thing. He wrote the songs and the melody and the bad just had to translate the melody.

I think they were very good musicians...
But Bob was the man....
