Love, love can be the greatest thing you can ever experience in your life time. It can also be the greatest sadness you’ll ever face. There was a girl. Really the only girl that took my breath away, always. It wasn’t apparent when we first met. Though as time went on and our bond grew stronger, we realized what we were to each other. At least what we thought. I had so much love built up for this woman. She did a lot for me. Not as much as I did for her nearly but it still showed her love for me in a ways. She was never good at showing her love. I knew this and worked with her on it. But it was never easy. Even with this problem I would’ve stayed 100 years over if I could. But somehow she threw it all away. She had decided that she didn’t want what I was offering her. Maybe I was too good to her. Maybe I could’ve been better. But for her, I went above and beyond. I gave her all of me. Spiritually, physically, mentally. She had all of me. I still don’t understand. How you can go from the love of someone’s life, their reason for getting up, their life. To being nothing to them in the matter of a few days. Perhaps I don’t yet understand love in a full perspective. All I’m sure of is that I wouldn’t have treated her the way she treated me. I wouldn’t even have thought to do to her what she did to me. And that what we had, was real. Maybe she didn’t realize. It’s been too long. She’ll never turn back and I’ve accepted that for long enough. I won’t blame myself any longer for her actions though. For I treated her better than anyone else ever could and ever can. I was nothing but the best to her and it wasn’t enough. Simply it is her loss. Right? Well why do I still sit here in sorrow. Knowing she would’ve never done the same for me. The answer to that only Lies in ones self. And when revealed, then and only then will you be set free.
