Most AA women see White American men for who they are. That is why more of them aren’t dating and marrying American White men. The divestors are in a tiny minority of AA women. If anything, it is more AA men that need to see White Americans for who they are. AA men date and marry out more than AA women and try to cozy up to White supremacy. Examples: Kanye West.
I am Black, but not AA. I do live in America and see what goes on in the AA community.

@@hiddenbeauty2828 Well, since you used a black celeb to try (and fail) to make your point, you're purposely being obtuse & biased by not mentioning the number of black female celebs (past & present) who went out of their way to date, marry, and/or procreate (or as you derisively put it, 'cozy up' with) white men: Tika Sumpter, Serena Williams, Jodie Turner-Smith, Azealia Banks, Eve, Chilli, Ketanji Brown-Jackson, Doja Kat (biracial but the world sees her as black), Lonnie Love, Kerry Washington, Halle Berry, Tamera Mowry, Kamala Harris, FKA Twigs, Kelis (all five the same as Doja Kat), Erika Alexander, Shar Jackson, K. Michelle, Naomi Campbell, Whoopi Goldberg, Iman, Diana Ross, Diahann Carroll, Tina Turner, Lena Horne, Angela Davis, LaToya Jackson, Maya Angelou...and the list goes on.
That being said, cut the bs that it's only black men going out of their way to date white people when it's an well-established fact that the only reason black women don't date out more is because men of other races, especially white men, don't find black women attractive (or in other words, your terrible reputation precedes you--Try fixing that before you come at black men).

I'm black and in my 60's and being born in the Jim Crow Era and growing up in the Civil Rights Era. The "One Drop" rule was in full effect regardless of white parentage or recent white ancestry. Those of us who were light-skinned were never ever asked which one of your parents is white. In the greater scheme of things "Black is Black'. We could have members of our extended family as well in the larger community who were "light and darn near white". It was more a matter of aesthetics not never of identity. The young brother in the Tik-Tok video I would never think that one of his parents is white. To me he just a black man. Before "mixed marriages" were "a thing" It was always acknowledged that Blacks in the Western Hemisphere would range from blue steel black to Caucasian level of lightness even with the same family.

Multiracial dating in the U.K. is, and has been, vastly more accepted, for longer, than it's been in the U.S. Plus, as an American on a foreign land, many more see you as "exotic" being that you're a foreigner with a different accent, different experiences, and from a desirable/popular place (in many of their eyes). She’s NOT divested, she’s a black woman in the middle of people who don’t look like her. Divested women reject the idea of dating marrying or having anything to do with the black “kamoonitay “ as beloved by rappers, BLM rhetoric and low aspirations with all the social problems that entails.Divested women reject the whole notion of a black monolith that seems to be compulsory. It’s as simple as that, there’s no reason to even talk about Divestors, they aren’t Swirlers, they aren’t interested in anything to do with black spaces if it involves poverty, crime ridden areas or being victimised, they live their best lives away from drama and trauma. They are no threat to the black community because they’ve moved away from it voluntarily. We don’t deserve the hate, we weren’t born Divested, we simply didn’t find our goals in line with what was expected of us.

Racsim will be a lot harder on BW who try to divest. Because so much of racsim is about excluding and ridiculing based on appearance, appearance be so much more of a woman's identity and how she values herself.
BM can at the very least create value in their money or talents because less of their worth was in their appearance to begin with.

So she wasn't divested but you're claiming she was divested? Divestment isn't about 'hiding out in a community of white people', its about removing yourself from negative experiences that do not serve. living in any neighbourhood or community that makes you uncomfortable does not serve you. So why would you divest to it? I know that you want to please black men, i get it. But please....tell the truth. Being divested means you have not understanding of your culture?? what??? 🤣 - divested women understand culture, we know it very well. We just refuse to be beholden to it Or to uplift or perpetuate any part of it that is harmful to us or another black woman or girl.
I could live quite happily in a neighbourhood with nothing but divested women. It would actually be very peaceful and progressive.

The funny thing is that BW are the teachers of culture. Its BW that are having babies out of wedlock in massive numbers by ALL ethnicities of men. What other non-Black men lifts BW up in public? But good luck in Divesting 🤦🏿‍♂️
If you lived in a neighborhood/community of divested BW it would be peaceful and you ALL would slowly perish away. They have done social experiments as well as made TV shows to the fact, Divestors lose 🤷🏿‍♂️🤷🏿‍♂️

No offense but you’re just making up all these silly excuses. She’s just an average chic, even with all that makeup she looked average, maybe some of it has to do with her race but I know many girls that came from predominantly white neighborhoods that got a lot of attention from white guys. The difference is they were cute with or without makeup. Girls have to learn to know where they stand on the Beauty scale and act accordingly.

I do agree that a woman’s looks plays a large role in attention received. With that I think my previous points still stand. You can be a beautiful black women, but you’re still black and that will mean something in an all white area. No way to get around it.

I was looking for this comment. I grew up in a predominantly black city. That lady would not have been considered among the most attractive. But not having that frame of reference, it automatically falls to race.

@ChezCharde is right, even the pretty "biracial girl" will get that "reality check" from whitey. This explains why Mariah Carey; Halle Berry and also Latinas like Jennifer Lopez and Salma Hayek *used the Black-American community for a come up.*

I'm a non-black man. Honestly speaking, black women don't really register even as women to be on the attraction scale. Blonde Haired Blue Eyed White women are the most beautiful women in the world although Prime Jennifer Connelly and Prime Liv Tyler at about age 22 each were incredible despite not being blondes. I find attractive women in all races of women besides black women. White women are the only ones that can be 9/10 and 10/10 though. I think the absolute ceiling for looks for Asian, Latina, Middle Eastern, Indian, and Native American women is 8.8/10.
