The final experiment is not to see if there’s a 24 hour sun. It’s to separate the “truth seekers” from the grifters. It’s already started, and seeing how many of these flerf preachers denied the trip, it’s been successful
I think in the UA-cam community the only true believer I’ve ever seen is the van-man, Casey. Everyone else is clearly freaked out by this experiment because a UA-cam DIY experiment with actual effort is all it takes to shatter the grifter’s stupid narrative.
I must confess that part of me is curious to see how the grifters are going to further move the goalposts in 2-1/2 months (given that they've already started to do so)...
@@TuubasdNo, since he doesn’t claim the earth is flat, nor has ever claimed there is no 24-hour sun in the Antarctic, unlike every flerf in existence.
They've ignored every other piece of evidence / proof there is so there's no reason to suggest they'll accept this latest offering.
That’s why any flat earther that is going is getting kicked out of the community and called a double agent and traitor. If they are forced to witness it, the grift is over. This is the most literal “head in the sand” reaction they’ve ever had. “Don’t go.” “Don’t witness.” “It’s not an experiment.” “It’s not real.” “Those flat earthers aren’t real believers, don’t trust them.”
Jeran even went through this before with the laser and the lake experiment years ago, the only thing that is uncertain is what they will shift their justification to.
Let's not give up hope completely though from those who don't believe there is a 24 hour Sun yet. If Jeranism is as honest he is, he might change his view once he sees the Sun stay up for 24 hours. He isn't like Dave Weiss or anyone who tries to make a 24 hour Sun work suddenly. I can't blame either of you though for doubting about the scenario.
Can people stop saying "globe earther"? They should just say "normal people" or something.
Was about to say this same thing. There is no need to categorise people who know the earth is a ball.
i like how some flat earther have stopped using the term 'atmosphere' and are just going with 'atmos', because the 'atmos' cannot be sphere shaped.
Yeah, realistically theres no such thing as a “globe earther.” People like Dan, Dave McKeegan, etc. should just be referred to as flat earth debunkers.
They won't accept a 15 degree drift (Thanks Bob!). No way they'll accept the 24 hour sun.
The only thing flerfs are consistent in is denying evidence and failing basic education.
Even Bob didn't accept his own findings. R.I.P. Bob, but it was correct the Earth's speed is a 15 degree per hour drift.
As Chris (CC from West County NY) would say "Learn Basic Physics"
And what if they don't see a 24 hour Sun, what's the lame excuse for that?
What's funny is that the 15° drift just proves that earth is spinning. The centrifugal acceleration would be like 10^-3 m/s² at the equator on a flat Earth (going by the old definition of the meter, which is that the distance between the North Pole and the equator is 10,000,000 meters). That acceleration is pretty small, so flerfs would find a way to brush it off.
The final experiment was set up to see how the flat earthers would react to being handed a chance to provide definitive proof of thier claims. The trip is the least interesting part of it.

Beautiful winter sun!
I imagine the experience is amazing and what you learn from it is invaluable. I have a question: why "winter sun"? The 24 hour sun in Antarctica is only possible during the southern summer. A different thing is that at the same time on the north (for example in Scotland), it's winter. Those same days, for example in Svalbard, will be permanently dark.
It's not winter sun. It's summer sun. Summer sun and winter darkness. That's what the poles get.
@@devinhood7340yep I get what you are saying.. They have winter in our summer and summer in our winter. Hence the 24 hour sun at Christmas..
Any flat earther taken to Antarctica is surely going to scream "This isn't really Antarctica! We're not allowed to go there!"
Plus something about the sun being a hologram.
Witsit going is perfect. Let’s see how the coffee cup caustic actually looks like.
Witsit is already calculating how he is going to boost his visibility with this and what’s the word salad story he is going to spit out.
It will be interesting to see because I've often wondered if Witsit REALLY believes it or if he's just playing some sort of a game. I have to say, he seems reasonably intelligent, I'll give him that, and even though his arguments are questionable at best, he presents a very sophisticated defence of something that seems absurd, I mean, it's not as if he's on any bonehead level or anything, so I can't see why he supports this seemingly insane idea unless he truly is SOMEHOW convinced or he's making money or something out of it 🤔
Witsit just makes noises with his mouth that sound kinda like language. If you know anything about the topics he mimics you know it’s just blather.

My worry is that it will be overcast the entire time. Then the flat earthers will say that NASA manipulated the weather and projected daylight above the clouds to make it appear to be a 24 hour sun.
Even if the sun goes behind a cloud for 10 minutes they will say it set during that 10 minutes.
It's rarely cloudy there. I think it's classed as a desert. So hopefully the sun will shine on the globe earth that day (and night lol).
I don't think it will matter. They've already conceded there's probably a 24 hour Sun down there. They just say it doesn't have anything to do with the shape of the Earth.
The glass dome that is used to show the sun shining around the flat earth would not produce a sun going around you if you at the Antarctic, so that model fails as well
While the experiment is going on in the south, it would be nice to get someone in northern Alaska or a similar latitude to record the 24 hour night, particularly in Barrow (fka) Alaska where the sun doesn’t rise for approximately 67 days. Be a good bookend to the South Pole experiment.
Just thinking out loud.
I had the same thought. Just as a way to kinda rub it in, y’know?😏
I don't recall who it was, but either Dave or MCToon were saying they were coordinating with someone to take pictures of the sun somewhere up North at the same time in order to match up sunspots so people will have less of an excuse to say the footage if faked.

I doubt it, but I hope Jeran becomes another Ranty. It's crazy enough to think that people still think the earth is flat in 2024, but it's even crazier to think that after witnessing something that is impossible on your model, on top of being ostracized by your community, you still maintain that the earth is flat.

My Operation Research professor once said: "People will rather accept that they can't solve a problem than they will accept a solution they don't understand."
And that's what's happening here.
Remembering the old saying: Don't fight with a pig, both of you will get filthy and the pig likes it. The reality is people will believe what they want to believe, and they will defend those beliefs with their very life. And when their beliefs are challenged, they'll respond by attacking those who think different. The problem is that the only way to actually fight against conspiracy theorists is through education, and educating those who actually can AND want to be educated. Trying to change the mind of a 40 year old person who doesn't want to listen is nearly impossible. I'm not as "optimist" as you. Those guys who will enjoy the trip to Antarctica will return saying that they were roofied or something and that they were placed in an artificial environment for them to see what "governments" want them to see.
Or, as my Granny was fond of saying: "There's nowt so daft as them that wants to be."
Once TFE has happened, we will need a lot of Dressing for the Word Salad the Flerfs will dish out.
I can't WAIT to see how CC from New York attempts to "debunk" the 24 hr. sun. That one's gonna be hilarious! 😂
Let's be realistic. It is obvious what the participants will see. It is also obvious the flatties will never believe them. So nothing "final" about the experiment but it will be fun for everyone who goes there (or at least the non-flatties ones)
My bet is there is a non-zero chance that at least one flat earther uses this trip as a pretext to get out of flat Earth.
Yes, those guys are so desperately dumb that they will be stupid enough to play Russian roulette with an automatic gun... AKA go being crucified by Professor Dave in any debate with him, or go to a place where they can't find any excuse for what they will see, which obviously would blow up in smithereens all their flattard talking points.
Note that the real con men (Eric Dubay, Mark Sargent) that perfectly knows they are charlatans peddling crap to gullible idiots won't go there to blow up their source of income. Either would stay at home the sociopaths (LEO, Nathan Oakley) whose sole motivation is to have a talking point to insult people more intelligent as they are as a way to feel greater than the complete social and intellectual failure they are outside of their UA-cam channel. We will see...
Merciless mockery of flattards and then can officially call them grifters and all that
Those that have refused are admitting thatn they know what will be seen and are looking for any excuse to ignore the results. Results that for years they have declared are impossible.

Will Duffy is a science denier who draws the line at "Erf be flat."
this is an interesting demonstrations of where video stabilization is at, its stabilizing your background instead of you, weird to see, but is technically more realistic, or "true to life" rather
For starters, just the act of going to Antarctica is going to blow holes in the theories or many flerfs. How many of them subscribe to the notion that you can't even go there? So, when you get there, then what do you say? Maybe "this isn't REALLY Antarctica!"? What do you think, that they are on a soundstage somewhere? Or maybe "this is only a small portion of Antarctica and you have gotten special permission to be here!". Whatever the case may be, even when they are standing in Antarctica (where no one is allowed to go) and seeing the sun never setting for themselves they will come up with some excuse to not believe what they are actually seeing. They will just keep moving the goal posts no matter how many times you put the football through the uprights. 😳
I love my family dearly, nothing makes me happier than my daughter. But give me an opportunity to go to Antarctica, I don’t care if it’s over Christmas, I’m going lol. That’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. Cheers to you for being able to turn that down for your family though, I don’t think I’d be able to!
One cannot reason someone out of a position that they havn't gotten into through reason.
Flerfers have their beliefs due to emotional needs, or financial needs, or simply both. That's why 'gotta lie to flerf' is a thing, that's why they get angry or condescending, that's why they simply ignore any actual evidence and make patently deeply flawed 'experiments'.
I think this is a vital initiative to add to the mountain of evidence for those who are teetering on the line of becoming a flerfer, but it's not going to affect those already there too deeply, and will be aggressively resisted by those who make money from the flerf grift.
I have a friend that has unfortunately fallen into the flat earth trap. I've known him for over 20 years so I can't really tell him to p--s off. However, he hardly brings it up because he knows I can bombard him with questions he cannot answer.
@@ascensionindustries9631 I guess he also refuses to look at the endless evidence for the globe or to make his own observations...

Gotta love how the "seekers of truth" on the flerf side are all refusing to go and saying it would prove nothing, like they weren't saying until recently that 24h sun only happens in Alaska.
It's easy, Jeranism and Wittsit will bail, and no one will believe the girl. Game still on. It would be a great idea to send someone north to video the 24 hours of darkness though.
The Final Experiment has been done by thousands of people. The Roald Amundsen expedition to the South Pole meticulously observed the 24-hour sun.
Flerfers started their excuses practically on day one of the announcement. "It proves nothing!". "They will just lie!". "Sun simulators!"
I can't stop thinking how bizzare this is, being literally born in town that has polar days. Hundreds of thousands of ordinary people live beyond the arctic circle and experience polar day every single year. How is this a contended issue? How do you still need to do an oddysey to try and convince some people? If you are, as you say, 'an inquisitive mind', you can probably arrange skype-calls to a 100 people during summer and see a 24-hour sun all you like. Hell, you can try and ask people to do 100 streams of a sun running in circles. Dan says it best - dear, oh dear.
Because the North Pole is in the center of their flat earth model, they say the sun just makes tight circles around the pole. Since they don’t believe the South Pole is a location at all, it’s two separate ideas in their clusterfuck of a system.

It hasn't happened yet and I'm still not convinced that anybody from the flat side will actually go.
The media outlets need to be informed BEFORE the event. Maybe they could even join in and film it for a documentary, making it even more difficult for the Flerfs to lie about what actually occurs.
I think the final experiment suffers from the same issue as debates about the existance of god between atheists and theists: One side tries to use reason and logic to win their argument against the other side that never cared about reason or logic in the first place. It's like two people trying to communicate that speak different languages. A futile exercise.
The question of god's existence is impossible to know for sure so those two examples are not the same.
The FE 'experiment' you mentioned with a light focused on the outside bottom of a glass hemisphere over a map showing light being refracted all around the edge is still a problem for flerfs. 1) is the sun inside or outside of the 'firmament?' 2) How, if inside, with a solid firmament?' 3) When, in the FE 'model,' is the sun that low in altitude? 4) When, in the FE 'model,' is the sun further south of the Tropic of Capricorn?
Like most flerf 'proofs.' one illustration makes another impossible!
That demo if rendered from the view on ground, would result in a smeared Sun across the sky. It looks cool from the top down view, I'll give'em that.

What's the weather like in that location? I'm worried that any cloud cover, even a single cloud, will "disprove" the 24 hour sun for them.
@@peteskyrunner4845 Not quite. On the coastline it is quite frequent, but decreases as you go inland. Union Glacier is well inland
It's like a desert, in high summer, with little to no moisture. If there are any clouds they'll probably be thin, and I think there are filters that can still 'see' the sun through them.
The Creaky Blinder would bring fun in this.

It would be nice to go on a trip to Antarctica but I don't know why they are calling it "The Final Experiment"
The final experiments that prove this planet is a globe were done centuries ago...
The only way a 24-hour Sun works on a flat earth is if everywhere on the planet always had a 24-hour Sun, regardless of time of year. Obviously, that’s not what we experience.
When Jeran himself measured a curve in the documentary "Behind the Curve", all he could say was "interesting"...
I don't expect any switching to reality by the flat Earth muppets.
Actually, he got his math wrong so the measurement matched neither his flat earth prediction nor his globe earth prediction. In that regards, "interesting" is a pretty normal reaction.
@@dudono1744 You're not wrong but that's a bit of a cop out by him. His experiment completely disproved the flat earth and if you ignore the mathematical error he made, all he did was show the size of the globe is wrong, not that it isn't a globe.

It’s a real thing, used in labs. A bit too small to light up the whole earth.
While they are there, I hope folks will have time to talk to other people at the glacier and find out how many of them have been in the 24 hour sun before. There are thousands of people who have been to the area each year, some scientists, some mountain climbers, some tourists. I hope some of them can be convinced to be interviewed about their experiences, maybe setting up a channel specifically to interview people who have been in the 24 hours sun. A large portion of the flerf community have already turned on Jeran and Witsit, calling them sell-outs and such.
Every job interview should begin with, "Do you believe that the Earth is flat?"😂
Important: They need to obvserve the sun ON THE WAY to Antarctica. For example south of the equator it appears to move around you in the anticlockwise direction.
"They'll want to keep going with their... channels and communities."
On a flat earth there should be a 24-hour sun all over the world all the time.
I have never seen any debunking of this.
Thanks Dan. The flerfing won't stop.
There's ONE OF TWO THINGS that will be seen in this experiment...
A - IF the Earth is flat and the Sun is closer to the Earth (under the dome), THEN... The observers, will be able to STAND IN ONE SPOT & face in ONE direction (facing NORTH) and WILL see the Sun moving in a shallow but wide loop (IF observed over a 7 x 24 hour period), going left to right to left to right to left etc etc etc as the Sun goes around the flat Earth going further away and then closer and then further away etc etc (from the observers SOUTHERN MOST point of view)...
Or
B - IF the Earth is a globe (as it REALLY, TRULY AND FACTUALLY IS), the observers standing in ONE SPOT WILL HAVE TO turn around AND around AND around 7 x 360 degrees to follow the Sun as it tracks around the observers point of view in a shallow wave pattern lowering and then raising and then loweringand then raising etc etc as it circles the observers...
Now... ANY advanced guesses as to WHICH of these TWO scenarios will be experienced? 😏🤣🤣🤣 😎🇬🇧
While they are in Antarctica I want them to run an internet check and G.P.S. location check. After successfully testing, ask the flat earthers where the internet and GPS signals came from.
In the FE model the sun never actually sets anywhere on Earth. It only “appears” to set because of obscure atmospheric conditions and perspective. So just claim those conditions don’t exist in Antarctica. Problem solved - partially. They cannot explain why the sun appears to go 360 degrees around the viewer, especially to the south. No FE model can do that. The globe side needs to emphasize it isn’t just about setting, it’s about the sun’s movement.
I think it's a reasonable assumption that a population of people who hold to an irrational belief in spite of ample evidence will not change their belief based on new contradictory evidence.
Can't wait to see how CC explains this away.
How many flat earthers are also crowd funding? Surely the flattys would be falling over themselves wanting a place. They would finally be able to prove their model. I wonder why they are not 🤔
I don’t think witsit will admit he saw it publicly.
They will 100% come up with excuses for a 24hr sun.
Haven't they already claimed that there could be multiple local suns? So if they claim that, then they could say one of the local suns stayed around Antartica longer than usual. Or, they might say it is a projection or hologram.
They'll move the goal posts like they have before and still idiots will flock to idiots.
@@andrewdowell5685that or the solar sinulator
@@andrewdowell5685 Would look forward to their continuous study on each individual sun and how they are able to identify their appearance and patterns of travel. If they really do exist then they should be entirely capable of doing research on them.
They already do and are at it for months now, tryin to discredit and reframe it to fit their narrative.
