I was also really impressed how mine ran on it's first run, the transmission is very quiet and smooth (as long as there are no stones in it of course) and the car just feels nicely planted and predictable going round corners. I know it's a rere and so some things have been updated but even so I was pleasantly surprised how good it is for such an old design.
As smooth sounding as I remember my original dogfighter back in the late 80's. Love it. Bought the re re but can't afford to buy radio gear and everything to go in it to drive it... The car alone cost $850 over here in Aus and that was more than I shouldda spent lol.
Nice to see it out, it sure is a great buggy, loads of upgrades out there for it now aswell. Ive seen some with few original parts on it, its cheaper to just buy the parts and not the kit 😂

I was unsure about this kit, as I am mainly a Tamiya/kyosho fan, but watching how smooth and well it runs I might have to change my mind. Very nice
