So grateful for Baha'i Blogcast and all the effort that was put forth by Naysan, Rainn and all involved to produce each episode! This is going down in History! Blessings be upon you all!
I am now almost halfway through these blogcasts. I can not be more grateful you have done this project. I fully realize how much work and how many years it took you to do this project. ❤ I felt so out of touch with the Baha'i World and could even have been considered an inactive Baha'i. I just returned from Pilgrimage and am now bridging my Faith path with my career path. I needed to hear these stories for inspiration. You have helped me change the course of my life with this inspiration. ❤
I formed my UA-cam page recently for the specific purpose of being able to both interact with Baha'i Blogcast and express my extreme gratitude to you❤!
Sad to see this chapter has come to an end, but looking forward to your future endeavours and artistic presentations. I have enjoyed every single interview on this podcast so far and more importantly, have gained a lot of insights from Rainn and the way he has facilitated the conversations, very reflective questions yet very engaging to listen to. Every single guest of the program managed to bring their talents, skills and knowledge in the most humble yet profound manner. Dear Naysan thank you to you and your amazing team for creating this space. My sincere and best wishes for your efforts and services.
Gasp! Naysan, Thank you so much for you work! I have loved the conversations, Rainn with these moving Baha'is! What a way, so many times to start my day. (We spoke when I was teaching in Abu Dhabi) Went to Bellingham and heard you speak to a full house! LOVE the book. And, such memories of how your dad could make us all laugh and laugh as he inspired us.
Trying to be mature about this, but... 😢. This podcast has meant a lot to me. One of those who have felt a needed connection to the wider Bahá'í world through the podcast. Thank you so, so much Rainn and Naysan and everyone else involved. Will continue to listen to the conversations to keep learning and being inspired. Looking forward to whatever you do next.
Rainn, Thank you so much for doing this! I am in the process of listening to all of them for inspiration as I transition out of private practice dentistry to the business and/or non-profit world. I need this inspiration as I am at a fork in the road in both my career path and Baha'i service path. I don't know where God is leading me. I am interested in helping you support Lide. It is very impressive.
Alláh-u-Abhá, dear Rainn. I just found these podcasts about a month ago and went through all of them from No. 1 to this one. I also read _Soul Boom,_ which I loved! A friend had told me about the book when it first came out. He told me Rainn Wilson has a new book out that explains how the Bahá'í Faith offers a spiritual solution to the world's problems! I was never so shocked since I didn't realize he even knew Rainn's interests, although I suppose I shouldn't have been too surprised since my friend is a basoonist! LOL Anyway, I'm sorry to hear this is not going to continue (although I just found out about your TV show Sunday nights on MSNBC!). I really enjoyed the conversations, often with people I knew. This all might be great for young people, but this old person got a lot out of it, too. I hope it continues in some form in the future. Rainn, you do very good interviews, and the guests have always been enlightening! Thank you SO much!
Although this seems to be the end of one amazing chapter, looking forward to seeing all the wonderful contributions you both continue to make to our communities and society at large. Netflix is crazy to turn either of you down!! Love your book Rainn. It’s one of the greatest contributions to social discourse 🙌🏼❤️🙏🙏

Hi Leah! Thanks for your comment! We hope to release more Studio Sessions in the future so, if you haven't already, you might want to subscribe to this channel so you know when the songs are released. Thanks for asking!
Hi Rainn, I tried to message you before. My Grandmother is Baha'i and she is about to turn 105 years old. I'm not sure but she could be the oldest living Baha'i currently. I thought her story would be of interest to other Baha'i's. Her family endured a lot when her Father converted to the Baha'i faith when she was a little girl in Iran.
I need your help. My husband is really worried that I might have given my email to a fake Rainn Wilson. I had a bad experience trying to interact with Zac Efron's FB page to thank him for D2E. All these creapy fake Zac Efrons tried to interact with me. I swore I would never interact with another celebrity's social media, but Rainn is one of a kind. Hi there! My name is Sonjel and I am part of the Baha'i Blog team. Baha'i Blog produced the podcast series, the Baha'i Blogcast, that Rainn hosted. I am not sure how often Rainn checks the comments on here but we, the Baha'i Blog team, monitor them and are the ones who have responded to you in the past when you commented about one of the blogcast episodes. I hope this helps alleviate your worries. - Sonjel
@BahaiBlog Thank you. I just interacted with Rainn through his social media and I believe I am interacting with the real Rain Wilson. Sorry I bothered you.
@BahaiBlog 1) I know in my ❤️ it is the real Rainn Wilson 2) If it wasn't, he would already tried to trick me into letting him hack my phone or my FB page.
i find the conversations about democrat talking points, and the belittling of Christians tiresome. the writings clearly are in agreement with most of the teachings of Christianity. God is not in everyone's heart. shogi efendie is clear He has been dethroned from the hearts of man. all the talk about virtue, racism and climate change, and nothing about the deeper implications of repentance of sins, or morality on society, or the importance of the power of the essence of God, the word and the holy spirit. or the necessity of recognizing Bahauulah and following his law. this liberal version of the Bahai faith has to stop, The truth is the Christians know more about the standards of God than most bahais, it is just the administration that needs updating. which funily enough is a global federal republic. prety much like a christian america that goes global. it actually really bugs me that this guy represents the cause so publicly, but is always supporting the hollywood liberal agender. In the same way there is a priority with regard to glory-that is to say, the most glorious precedes the glorious. Therefore, the Reality of Christ, Who is the Word of God, with regard to essence, attributes and glory, certainly precedes the creatures. Before appearing in the human form, the Word of God was in the utmost sanctity and glory, existing in perfect beauty and splendor in the height of its magnificence. When through the wisdom of God the Most High it shone from the heights of glory in the world of the body, the Word of God, through this body, became oppressed, so that it fell into the hands of the Jews, and became the captive of the tyrannical and ignorant, and at last was crucified. That is why He addressed God, saying: “Free Me from the bonds of the world of the body, and liberate Me from this cage, so that I may ascend to the heights of honor and glory, and attain unto the former grandeur and might which existed before the bodily world, that I may rejoice in the eternal world and may ascend to the original abode, the placeless world, the invisible kingdom.”
Your evaluation is framed in the antecedent, and no longer as effective for this world (hate to say that about those beloved faithful ones), for the age in which we are living, the Christian morphed and derived paradigm, seems more at issue with the needs of this age than any tinge in the perspectives on the Baha'i Blogcast. But if yours attracts to the clarity of now, it has a place, and Godspeed. It's never best I tell myself to criticize "those who are doing," meaning Rain. I do see that Rain Wilson was presenting on somebody else's stage and they needed to refocus on their paradigm of encompassing variety around their vision. Rain clearly has heart and connectivity in mind every moment as do the holders of the venue and I felt it needed a truly grand goodbye, not this getting called into the office.
@@billwilliann.thompson3036 Your evaluation is framed in the antecedent, and no longer as effective for this world? wow what a arrogant reply, 90% of what i said is just repeating what the writings say. the writings call us to repent as one of the first actions, you literally cant know God with out it. and the kitab i aqdas is about morality. and the word, spirit and essence are spoken of continually through out all the writings. if you think its all outdated, then you better find a new religion. virtue with out Gods standards for moral reasoning is useless and of no value, you can "love" to execute babies in the womb, you can be "kind" to preditors at the expense of the innocent etc etc. Bahaullah specifically calls for a global republic which is a system of law and order that is based in morality, the system is the love, we are called to love God and be morally upright and virtuous, but for those who are not, we need a justice system based in moral law. to protect the greater community from the godless criminals. I find it amazing that when I call for what the writings actually say, i get dismissed. there are more problems in the world than racism and climate change, the writings cover hundreds maybe thousands of them, and the biggest is that God has been dethroned from the hearts of men, and nothing short of people recognizing Bahaullah and doing all the things He has commanded, can solve the issue. but if being honest about the broad spectrum of all the things the writings say is antecedent, and the bahai faith is reduced to some other lesser reality, then God help us all.
@@supernalbjj I see you responding out of familiarity with the writings, - maybe selective - but I don't feel yours or mine can be painted onto the framework of everyone's responses -- humanity is hugely diverse, as is breakthrough and advance. There is no single way to serve but unity embraces diversity which allows overall enthusiasm and progress. Seeing that you don't post entries as yourself on your Facebook page does not help me understand about applying your vision, all there is some warrior action figures, including religious battle iconography - it doesn't work for me, not even symbolically. I found no help in understanding how you express your spirit in real life. @@billwilliann.thompson3036 so when you said "Your evaluation is framed in the antecedent, and no longer as effective" you were not in effect telling me to stop? Bahaullah prescribes the death penalty, there is more to the writtings than ponies and rainbows, Im sorry if you find it confronting to hear the truth. Bahaullahs message is to do it in the frame work of a world federal republic. where force is the servant of justice. he doesnt say forget force, forget morality and just let everyone do what they want. If bahais taught about the world federal repulic and how the laws and orders are rational and based in moral reasoning, and that what bahaullah has spcified to unify the world with will bring saftey and security, most american cheistians would become bahai over night. as for christian inspired art I know you hate chritianity. but the story of the God of israel and christ are pivotal to the revelation of Bahaullah. there is a reason there are books like some answered questions with so much about Christ and the bible in them, but none about hindus or buhdah, and there is a reason israel is the world center and not the himilayers, or africa. there are prayers that invoke bahais as a heavenly army, and early bahais were called knights of bahaullah. all the english translations are in language from the period of knights and royalty so if you have a problem with holy iconography from Europe representing people who stand for gods standards, then take it up with the authors of the faith. whats ridiculous is people can come from any culture into the bahai faith and get praised and celebrated for it, but western christian heritage is treated as a problem.
