the fact puddin has a nice 2500 4x4 chevrolet but takes the tow rolla to pull stuff around is why I love this channel
i might be crazy but what does he have thats called a nice 2500 4x4 Chevrolet genuine question
@@alfonsoalonzo he has a fairly clean chevy pickup that he uses for towing since the travelall went down needing repairs
@@1santaever the white work truck?
i thought was a 2wd gaser
That poor chevy couldnt handle the abuse he puts that carolla thru
@@dylanromine4101 the carolla cant even handle the abuse he puts it through lol (jk its been a champ )
Man, after a rough day of hauling junk out of someones yard and cutting their lawn. seeing a pudding video really just made it better. ive been sweat my butt off since 8:30 am
@maruiacancer6 you have one video with over 800 views (that's pretty good) , if you put out more videos you'll get a better result.
Same brother
I just took 2012 5.7hemi heads off a police interceptor to fix exhaust manifold bolts. And I have been looking for word to finishing the last hour of Mondays and this one as soon as I started cooking dinner.
Loaded grill cheese. With bacon, tomato, lettuce and ovacado and tomato basil soup.
PFS, you just did yourself a huge favor by thinning the herd! All those potential projects staring you down can take the wind right out of your sails! Now you can refocus and have at it! Congrats!
Sleeperdude will probably be happy to buy that Thunder Chicken off you once you pull the motor. He loves those things.
Yes I do
@@SleeperdudeI was wondering if you would read this! Awesome find with the wagon dude that thing is mint!!
Haha so awesome he replied
How about swapping a V8 turbo back in it after you pull the 4cyl
Yup
The tail lights and head lights on the T-bird is worth a lot to the T-Bird community. They are really hard to find in good shape.
Those Toyotas are climbing in value , if the roof isn’t rusted out it’s worth saving. I have a ‘79 but the roof is wasted.
Not only the roof everything is valuble on rhosw thing i can’t even find one in the netherlands to replace the funky lookin bed of mine and to replace the a pillars cuz they rusted out badly
Sleeperdude is going to want that turbo coupe
Exactly
Exactly what I thought soon as I saw it on the trailer!
A lifted 4 wheel drive half haul sounds like great content!
We got to get you a tractor with either a front loader or a 3 point lift. Lol make so may jobs soooo much easier.😊
Besides looking to nice to kill you’ll break Sleeper Dude’s heart if you part out that Turbo Coupe! 💔😢
When I moved out to the country the best money I ever spent was on a tractor. 29 horse 4x4 kabota. Maintain the drive move anything heavy and unload cars. FYI
Dream BIG young man and follow them. You're doing awesome in my book.
I had a 88 Toyota truck with the 22R motor. Best vehicle I ever owned. That 22R is bullet proof!
As a fan and a Ford person. Love to hear that T-Bird make some noise!! Had a 97 and a 88. Fantastic 3.8l v6.
One of these days that towrolla is gonna just give up lol I can't believe it's lasted this long. Just proves how good Toyotas are built.
Excited to see what you do with that Ford, made a great deal, cleared up space on the property, and obtained some hope and inspiration for future projects. Thanks for sharing
My dad has an 84 thunderbird TurboCoupe and an 87 base LX thunderbird. The lima 2.3s love some boost.
I absolutely adore the TowRolla, she's an absolute unit! She could use an interior spruce up in the future, a new door panel and a headliner, perhaps the rear seat could be removed so you can haul more tools in the back!
Fun fact: That generation of the Toyota Hilux was used for two characters in the Transformers G1 cartoon, Trailbreaker and Hoist! Hoist was a towing rig while Trailbreaker had a big topper on the back.
Ever since the inception of the TowRolla... I've been wanting to give my 91 Delta 88 the same treatment! Hopefully next summers project.
I knew a guy MANY years ago who was brought up in Germany and had plenty of experience driving the Autobahn. He decided he wanted a Turbo Coupe (they were current at the time). Back in those days, the sales guy ALWAYS rode shotgun on test drives, particularly a performance car. The German guy headed for a local 4 lane divided highway (2 lanes each direction) and gave that T-Bird the spurs. He gave the sales guy a white knuckle drive on the highway at 140 mph! That was pretty fast for almost any car in those days, let alone a lowly Ford. The salesman damn near pooped his pants. “I’ll take it!” 🤣
Honestly I really like the turbo coupe thunderbird’s, I’d fix it up myself. The Toyota would definitely make a cool swap for the half haul though, looking forward to that one. Keep up the good work.
😣😣
im so ready for first build in the new shop not to long now ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That turbo swap on the Yee Hawl will be sweet!
You might upset Sleeperdude taking that bird apart. LOL
Maybe the slots to your wheels came in the speedway box. 📦 🏎️🤷♂️🤦♂️
Craigers are the best from an old timer ❤🤠
That car would look so cool getting painted up like the race car from the movie stroker Ace and turn it on that Blazer frame after he takes the parts off he is going to use on the half haul❤🎉😊 maybe other Justin will❤
Your new place is looking good keep up the great work
Dick Dastardly and Mutley! That's a real Ol School gem right there...
i do love these more laid back videos even if you feel like they are low effort i’m sure the fans disagree! keep don’t you bruvva
Agreed ... this is as much a 'Day in the Life' channel as it is a car repair channel.. all good!
I had a Toy just like it. 1986 22REC Turbo 4X4 Truck was a beast. would drive through anything. Turbo went out of it. I didn't have the money or the knowledge back then to fix it. Now i know I could have fixed it cheap. Frame was solid body was primo...It's the only vehicle I've owned that I wished I wouldn't have sold it...This Coming from a Buy American guy!
The speedway box definitely has plaid valve covers for the contractor van. Just to make Mortske proud.
I had one of those Thunderbirds with a 5speed and that was actually a great running car. It got caught in a flood and covered it in water to the roof. I drained all the fluids and flushed the radiator and replaced the fluids and it still ran perfect. Looking forward to future videos on it, Thanks for sharing! 😁👍
Not surprised.. Lima 2.3's are practically bulletproof! 😎
I had an 87 turbo coup . It was the only car I ever fixed with the sucker end off of a dart from a kid's dart gun . Plastic clip disintegrated and it was a fix in a pinch to get it shifting again .
Its cool to see the Thunder-Chicken in your fleet, thanks for the video
What could be next, can hardly wait to see!!!!
I saw them moving the Datsun and said oh crap someone has the chance to buy puddins custom bed! 😂
I believe the correct term is "Thunder Chicken". 🤣🤣
I used to have a 1984 TB the same as that one. Miss it. 😢 4 cylinder with fuel injection and a turbo
Love all your videos. Be it a car build or the house and shop builds. Can’t wait to see the shop addition build.
Cant wait for the future projects gonna be some good content!
I remember when I was a kid, I thought those T-birds looked fast sitting still.
Upgrades to the fleet! Can't wait for he half haul stuff, it's my favorite. And of course the poor towrola.
Keep doing what you do, we will watch it.
Extra Stickers, and library books
Got the christmas song started. (fits the music if I remember the words correctly)
5 WILL IT RUNS!
4 box trucks
3 square bodies
2 datsuns
And a Towrolla pulling all of em'
I love the idea of a Turbo Ford engine, Toyota 4x4 chassis and the Half haul cab and box! The ultimate yard dog for Puddins world of hot rods!
I built a 2.3 turbo motor from the ground up for my senior project and dropped it into a thunderbird almost identical to the one you got. That thing took a beating until it couldn't lol
If you check out Sleeperdude he has one of those turbo Thunderbird coup . He knows a lot about those cars and is someone who seems super nice too. He probably could give you some info on the swap. Just saying.
holy crap, when you said a good thing that bird didn't hit your leg because it had crap running down it, I damn near chocked on my drink from laughing...
Great cars for your projects, no cash out lay, perfect 👌..
17:12 the towrolla looks like a beast next to the Datsun 😂
Glad to see you finally get that Thunder Chicken dragged out to your place! ...looking forward to that "will it run", and where I'm pretty sue you're going with it, when it does.
The part is a Beet Juice Extraction Unit... another attachment for the saw/can shaker.
My brother had a xr-7 cougar with that turbo 4 popper. Had great low end torque, and top end was surprising. Kept up with a 5.0 mustang on the hwy once.
Those wheels on the Toyota are called Center Lines very expensive back in the 70s and 80s
they made another brand also.
My first car was a 1981 Chevrolet Caprice. I learned how to work on cars with it. It went through 7 transmissions in one year
I can see it now Best Buy neighbors now for salvage yard space lol it’s good problem tho
You just look like you belong at the new place. You and family are gonna love it. Congrats
Body parts on the Turbo Coupe are like gold. You'll get money back parting it out.
I had to look twice I thought you had a cash crop going in the junk yard. 😂👍
That would be the old Stinking Roger (Southern Cone Marigold)
Thunderbird turbo coupe. I had one of those 20 years ago. Loved that car. Great video bud
LOVE WATCHING PUDDIN’!!!!! GODS BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOUR BEAUTIFUL FAMILY !!🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Two things you have to get in the shop; hot water and a good shower. Actually, a full functional bathroom is your best friend.
It's all coming together. Keep it up
What in the sleeper dude is happening here with a turbo coup 😂, next puddin is gonna be doing auto cross 😂😂😂
Puddin you should check out the turbo 2.3 280z Team Boosted put together. That thing moved out. It's got some euro diesel now but look at the earlier ones they did in that car.
That old school dog laughing, priceless,I'm glad I ain't serious BUDDY
Everyone sit down and shut up and enjoy it y'all. 😂😂😂😂😂. Can't wait to see more updates an projects and many more videos soon puddin. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
I had a 1980 Toyota 4by 4 .loved that truck.ran forever & go through anything.
Live the idea of swapping out 2.5 turbo. I did one from an 79 turbo Mustang to a Couior. Miss those old trucks.
Thanks for sharing with us.
*2.3L :)
thanks for the second channel action!!! my midweek pick me up!!!!
Fresh Puddin video + garage clean up = good times... you damn right , baby!!!
Your new place is looking great. Looks like a few tons of gravel laid down there for your storage lot and drive ways. That will really help if and when it rains. Pretty sure you and your Ladies, young and older will love the new place.
You realize that foxbody svo you've shown out at D&H is also a 2.3 turbo, same as the tbird!
Fyi, that turbo coupe will have a 3.73 trac lok rear with disc brakes since it's an automatic
Puddin, I love your channels. I thought about this couple videos ago when you bought a new battery for your trailer. Then when D&H whench battery went dead. He probably really tows a lot with his whench. You could tell him about it as well. They make a circuit breaker that wires to the battery, and there are plugs you can get and run battery cable from the circuit breaker all the way to the back of the truck. Then wire your trialer with the oppest end of the plug and battery wire to the teminals on the whench and it then runs off of your truck battery. So while the truck is running you never have a dead battery on your whench. We did it for all of our whench and dump trailers, and trucks so any truck could pull any trailer and always power the dump feature or whench. The batteries just never hold up.
That Turbo Coupe is a Sleeperdude car. He loves them. Great video❤⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Friend of mine bought a turbo coup new it ran real good . (till he rolled it on a curve) LOL
Mickey Thompson tube socks from Speedway!
Thanks for the second channel action puddin! ❤❤
Turbo coupe motor in the Toyota 4x4 chassis under the Half Hawl. Easy.
Those first gen yotas are 👌. Ours get all the looks on the trail
a Turbo Coupe! 😍😍😍
Hell yeah, great choice man! Welcome to Lima 2.3t land.. You'll love it.
They're great for swapping into other stuff too.. Got one in an '89 Ranger. Fun, fun, fun! 🍻
You'll need the harness and LA3 ECU, but do yourself a solid and ditch the top-mount intercooler.. They're essentially heat soaks sitting over the exhaust manifold, defeating the purpose on an IC. Front-mount IC is the way to go! 👍
As being a turbo coupe swap connoisseur I support this decision, and If you need some info or guidance with the swap wiring I have tons of diagrams. From a 400hp 2.3lima owner and fan that lives in central ks
Wichita area
Another good video, a nice change up from working on a vehicle. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Oh baby here we go
Again with some great puddin action
It be cool to see a sleeperdude and punddin collaboration with the thunderchicken
It's cool seeing an old 720, my first vehicle was a 84' 725, had a moon roof and the 2.4L 4 banger with 8 spark plugs
That calibration sticker references the ECU "tune", ya probably better make a note of it since you plan on keeping the fuel injection. Some ECU's are not compatible between each other even though they plug in. If that particular one is no good and you need to find a replacement, you will need to know that. ( found all this out the hard way on my 1990 F150)
Have fun with the new toys! Chase the dream!
still have a spare roller cam for the older 2.3/2.5 engines (large stem).
the thunder bird engine may not bolt to the courier transmission, but you can probably just drill and tap the ones you need.
So glad to see the house coming along. I know Mrs Puddin must be excited, has she started packing the house to move? I see yard sales in your future son! That old stuff isn't good enough for a new house.
That is a smart move keeping the five speed. Those Thunderbirds came with an A4LD automatic transmission. And they are junk. I am looking forward to that build.
Been Watching Your Show For Over Two Years, My First Time Committing, Just Wanted To Say Congratulations, Your A Humble Young Man, And Who Doesn't Like That? Keep On Keeping It Real! Thank You For The Everyday Reality Of Something Real And Good!
Enjoying being along for the ride
T bird around 83 I has a 83 stang 3O2 HO it was just before the new model came out. Solid preforming reliable. Even back then the paint was thick, you can scrub it with Ajax to get to stain out. And the toy truck build it. Toy motor and the feeling is pretty perfect as ford 150 but lighter and 18 +mpg yet
My aunt had one of those Thunderbirds man it was a fast little car, so you might be surprised how fast it is.
Puddin, you need to build you a beach cruiser bike with a 2 stroke engine to match your collection of trucks
looks like old cobra cb radio 40 channel I worked many of those in my day still work on them when some one drops off
Turbo coupe!!!!! Yes! My buddy in high school had one. We called it a turbochicken. That thing was rad.
I've got a 2.3T SVO Foxbody Mustang that needs some work. Can't wait to see you dive into the T-bird to give me some inspiration to stop sittin' on my a$$ & start on my project!
