Quite a nice solution. My SF314 was broken and I replaced the drive with a modified PC drive, which has the benefit of it having no troubles with writing to HD floppies. Because the PC drive is a lot smaller, it left enough space put an additional Gotek into the case as well. So I have now have a 2-in-1 solution ;-)
A very clean looking build, well done! I always wondered how to connect this "Atari style non-standard" Data cable to a Gotek or Goex. Now I know it's possible, thanks to your video! Maybe I'll build a similar solution for my 520STM. Have to look out for a defective SF314/354, as I don't want to "waste" my fully functional SF314 for that. We will see... 😉

That looks like a great solution, one drive for floppies and USB sticks!

I wouldn't sacrifice a fully working SF314 for this either. If you can still find a defective SF354 on Ebay, that will be a better solution.
Great build :)
Thanks.
Why is it drive B?
Because the build in drive of the ST is drive A.
I like your desk with the space for the 1050 drives. Is it custom built?
Yes, I made a wooden cover for the 1050 drives myself.
