Baghrir use semolina and yeast, this is a ploye made with buckwheat flour and baking powder. Came out of the Brayon area of New Brunswick before spreading. I could see them being inspired by baghrir though.

Mad RESPECT. Same happened to me. I am a veteran as well and was injured spending 5.5 wks in the hospital for my leg and ankle breaking. I walked crooked for years and multiple surgeries. They told me as well in 3 different states that I’d NEVER do anything physical ever again. Imagine telling a 20 yr old that. But I went on to become a professional cheerleader, dancing backup for artist, and performing on major cruise liners. Have faith in God and yourself. Never give up on yourself even when they all say NO!!!!❤

It looks like Baghrir or Moroccan pancakes as my kids call them❤ Same only cooked on one side and smothered in a butter honey syrup. They are made with semolina flour and are very addictive. 😊
These are made with buckwheat flour, and are usually eaten with either molasses, butter and brown sugar, or "creton" (a ground pork spread). They are from the Edmundston area in NB, Canada.

She was a blast throughout the competition, never had a bad dish and beat every single person that underestimated her and came in second place but she's still dealing with a lot of issues..she lost one of her daughters, battling breast cancer and more knee surgeries and other ailments too..I wish her peace❤
That my lady is what we call "baghrir" in Algeria lol and most of Algerians love it...some of us eat it with butter and suger and others prefer it with honey and it's delicious in both ways

@@mariaria8359 slight difference in ingredients, you use semolina while we use buckwheat, we don’t use yeast, we also eat this mostly as a side to savory dishes with butter or a meat spread. I would love to try baghrir now that I’ve seen a different side to one of my favourite dishes. They look exactly the same and I’m sure the flavour is no different.
Its baghrir comes from Maghribians(Morroco and Algeria)

Was shook when i saw her make that! We call it baghrir in Algeria. A traditional and staple kind of desert to go with tea. You have to put some butter and honey on it to truly enjoy it.
