The phrase is "small world". I'm sure there's a couple near you somewhere. Push comes to shove, fan-meet at a con or at a Holo event. Several of Mio's fans met up at one of the recent ones.
I like this communication between hololive fans even tho we're came from different country even tho we are stranger to each other. When we talking about Hololive we will connected to each others 😂
When I walk through Tokyo at least no one assumes I can speak fluent japanese, lol. But somehow communication was possible. Always great to see fandoms bridging cultures. Gread vid!
Yeah, just like you said it somehow worked out in the end! I was also fortunate to meet fans willing to talk with me and be patient despite the language barrier.
im not a fans hololive but i support it cause they same like idol japanese ,who dont love it?? young boy like it hee can fell japan spirit so amazing how they develop
When you were picking at the baggage tags I knew there was no way you wouldn't walk away with all three. YOU WILL ONLY EVER BE AT A LIMITED POP-UP STORE ONCE
You helping out that fan outside because you felt inspired by the fans earlier and felt like being the person to pay it forward was so touching. Damn, that's hololive. She better not resell that. >:D
The store had quite some stuff! Makes me wish those kind of stores would not be half a world away from me haha.. thank you for the vlog hwikky! Just so cool to see!
Not a hololive fan but my wife a big fan of them, seeing them interacting each other with language barrier it's so cool and wholesome. I hope one day I can bring my wife to see hololive popup store/concert
The upcoming hololive expo and fes concert in March could be your chance! It's the biggest hololive event of the year. BTW, super nice of you to look out for hololive stuff just for your wife.
Why do I love listening to fan stories so much... Also Hwikky the way you kindly bought that last person items, it wasn't even a couple things but like a little haul! You deserved that 3 of a kind card pull at the end for sure! 😁
Thank you for your hololive content, I never had a chance to even visit places like this since I'm from a small country, let alone buy anything so your vlogs help me feel and experience the fun of it all. Always so excited to watch!! 😊 you're awesome.
I always find myself wanting to comment even before the vid is done cuz it's so wonderful. In this vid i learned: - tokyo station has more pop culture goods than my entire country - hololive fans will overload any store, both physical and digital - communcation across cultures and world peace will be achieved through holo fans connecting 😅 Also i was thinking that Yagoo's next big investment should be in the goods supply chain. If we could get stuff from all these collabs shipped overseas for a good price it would sell big time
Thanks so much for showing us up close the experience of the Tokyo Station collaboration store. It's great to always see you interacting with Hololive fans and seeing their treasure trove of hololive goodies (that Joysound 4th fes banner was super impressive). I hope you continue to have good luck and a good time with these.
Great video and fun talks with JP fans! I'll be in Japan in a few weeks but didn't know about this store collab. I'll definitely be checking it out. Good to know about the entrance reservations too. But man, seeing Tokyo station and so many people... Getting my anxiety up. I'm reminded of the first time I had to traverse the labyrinth that is Shibuya Station.
Awesome video, glad you got a chance to go to the store and not only that but also get the last time slot. Man I would buy all that gura merch and pretty much go broke doing so, but I wouldn't regret it. The fact that you got all three cards was awesome thought you might have blown it by giving the person the other 2 but hey do a good deed and get rewarded, hopefully you managed to sleeve the cards later to keep them safe. The struggle when deciding which bag to get is so all of us fans, the fact that you just got all of them is spot on to what all of us would do
i love these videos so much! i love being able to see sides of a fandom that im very into i cant see :D that shiengumi (kageyama shien fan) was cool to see!!! i love that they were playing we are the holostars too :D i love holostars nd hololive aaaa
The bit at 19:00, that corner. That defines what Tokyo is to me. You find, next to each other, modern buildings with really cool designer-looking stores, super well lit, right next to an unassuming torii (we've all played Ghostwire Tokyo, don't even deny it), and behind, an apartment building (the white one), all in really wide pedestrian streets. The Tokyo station area feels like you're in the world of Cyberpunk 2077 at times and it's quite cool.
In Nihonbashi the Fukutoku shrine ooks like it was air dropped in. It’s has an eclectic architechtual mix of ancient and modern touches. But hilariously the priests have an office inside the modern complex next to it where they come out from 😂
I was waiting for this bro since I saw and ask the card that you got. Thanks~ Edit: Finally, I saw a Watamate in your vlogs and hearing Miko-chi's voice on the venue really melts my heart. I wanna pat that elite baby 😂
Big thumb and big respect for you and all those fans who helping in buying merch ^^ It's feels really good when see fans and community so supportive ^^
For once, UA-cam video recommandations are working well ... I'm planning on going towards the end of it, in January. I was afraid of anything that might happen that I wouldn't have been able to prepare for beforehand (like the ticket situation that expanded even after the 3 first days...), so I'm really, really glad to see a vlog showcasing the pop-up store. It's also nice to have a look around it, as the twitter account doesn't show much. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the vlog once again!! I feel like perhaps Cover is still underestimating how much traction a hololive shop would get, especially when it's early or limited time thing. They may as well make a big store like those pokemon shop, maybe start one in Tokyo first?
As a European it's rough knowing these things just don't happen here. That's why I am glad you make these videos so I can see what it's like going to these small events/collabs and meet other Holo fans. It must be a joy for these people to always have something new to go to.
just watched it, i found it so wholesome how happy japanese fans are to show their goods to each other and even gift some of them to complete random people they just met because they share the same love they have. they show strong pride to what they love and the people they admire, walking around with so much merch, and its amazing and cute and i dont want it to come out wrong but i think it's a very asian culture thing, while on the other side of the world we hide what we love, because you dont want get bullied by others. wish it was like this everywhere but oh well. thanks for the cool vlog, was fun to watch.
Another amazing video. The editing when you poked Korone is peak. That is cool that They had Cali say her announcement in english, in case someone who didn't understand japanese went there.
I was there in that shopping mall! But 8 months ago, so no Hololive shop. I did go to the Studio Ghibli store and browsed around. It's so great that Hololive fans get eachother even with a language barrier. One day I want to go to a Hololive event...
I’m so jealous! They popped up right after I left there. I checked out all of Tokyo Station and didn’t see that. I’m happy with my Hololive haul from exploring Akihabara though. Thanks for sharing!
The convo exchange was so wholesome, that vtuber og fan tho I need that calli stand Thanks for the vid (Also nice for "we are the holostars" bgm of the store)
The idea of having a whole underground street full of nerdy anime and manga merch stores is absolutely BRILLIANT and the person who thought of that deserves a prize, no, twenty. Other areas in Japan, even in Tokyo itself (I'm looking at you, Nakano Broadway) feel seedy as fuck when they try something like this, because you have all the melonbooks and similar hentai dojinshi stores next to the figure stores, the pokemon store cards and all that, and you're not gonna get parents stopping by with their small kids and going there. I love the place!
I kinda like this channel about hololive event and some vlogs as well... Very interested! I'm from Malaysia and I'm also a fan to hololive and hope you can do more vlogs about hololive event there in japan or south Korean 😃

So true!

Overseas is tough right.... One day we'll get to that point!
I met a nekko/husband in the wild the other day. He had a giant Nene decal on his car.
