No memory of her, her family's sacrifice, ends up in nothing? She is a true hero and a Legacy sacrificing herself for the greater good. She won't be erase, she already touch the heart of the viewers, she will be back. Thank you for a great season 1 finale!
Hope Mikaelson was EPIC during the entire season and she sacrificed herself for the people she grew to love and protect. She will ALWAYS and FOREVER carry the love from all of us.😭❤️❤️
I think that if she comes back she won't be a tribrid, she'll be one creature because the only purpose of being a tribrid is to stop the monster thing so maybe after doing that she'll be one creature.
Theory: Rafael still remembers Hope because he's in wolf form, not human. He's going to try and help Alaric and the gang remember Hope and eventually save her from the pit in which she emerges as a full Tribrid having activated her Vampire half Edit: Throwing in the possibility of seeing a Mikaelson family member in season two because hello! @@saramelissa7408 i dont think its that simple. landon's mom was not a crucial character so its easy to write her off plus we dont know for sure that no one remembered her after she reemerged because landon was the only contact we had that was related to her and he's never known her. julie's not an idot-she is when it comes to her weird obsession with love triangles but logic follows that the titular character won't be killed or forgotten,especially not in the 1st season
I just feel like recycling the ascendant storyline and making hope find her place only to be wiped away... Just ruined it for me. I was hoping for something different with this show.

OMG this was one hell of a finale!!! I loved every second of it! Just like Hayley said to Hope - she is the one that can unite all the factions! This is one of the best group friendships I've seen, along side Teen wolf! I love the bond between Hope, the twins, MG, Kaleb, Landon and Raphael! It's so beautiful! This is the magic that this show needs! I'm so impressed, really! I enjoyed the whole season, but this finale was MAGICAL! Seeing them fighting together for each other, carrying about each other, I seriously can't wait for season 2! This should be the center of the show - this group of different supernatural creatures, united! Just like Hayley said to Hope! And OMG Hope.. one of the best written characters I've ever seen! Her story is so deep and so sad, and the way she grew up from it! Amazing! We can hate Julie Plec about how bad she is at writing final episodes, but we can't deny she knows how to make a good show, with well written characters who you grow to love without even knowing it! That's why btw there is so much drama about the ships, because she knows how to make them all epic, regardless of which we choose to be our favorite!

Hopefully the Mikaelson family is at least referenced more often in season 2 than season 1 and that Davina appears. As much as it makes sense why Hope called Alaric before sacrificing herself, it's a little weird that she didn't contact any of the remaining Mikaelson family members to say goodbye. Lastly, it's obvious she will be back somehow cause it's too early in the series to have an exit as big as Elena Gilbert's in The Vampire Diaries.
I was thinking the same thing. Josie is the one with the most physical evidence of Hope’s existence. Plus there’s the necklace that she still wears, only now she has no memory of who gave it to her. I hope we get to see a team up of Josie and Landon to bring Hope back in season 2.
She has but she did what she had too to protect her friends and family her family always taught her always and forever and at the end of the originals she told klaus she would honor the family name, she is a true hero she will be back i know but its hard to watch after seeing hope izzie and josie finally becoming friends. Hope finally came out of the shadows and realize she has real friends she can count on. She even found love So for making this long oops

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: The music in this show is amazing. That’s definitely one thing they’ve been consistent with and that has helped make Legacies’ first season as great as it has been. It was something they did well with the originals too. Can’t wait for Season two, I’m addicted to this show. Music and plot twists are on point.
Something I saw on tumblr which makes a lot of sense: Two reasons as to why Josie will be the one, who’s going to remember Hope: 1. While Alaric was burning down every evidence of Hope, Josie still has the book Penelope gave her with all the journal entries including Hope’s. (Besides the necklace is still there, right?) 2. If Josie would die some time in the premier or something, she would be still having Hope’s blood in her system, thereby creating a sire bond. There’s is also theory that she’ll keep Hope’s blood in her system for a while because she also has Malivore’s mud inside of her because of the shot. But nonetheless when Hope first disappeared everyone was back to normal, except Josie who felt pain. So they are connected in one way or another.
Hope isn't dead and she will be back... This show was literally created for hope and the twins.. If anything, Hope will come back as a full tribrid and more powerful than ever.. I think Landon's father knows something is coming that's bigger than both him and hope, and that's probably why he wanted to get out so bad. Hope and Malivore may combined powers and become this unstoppable creature
I read alot of commits saying how Hope's sacrifice scene is so like Kluas. Maybe but no not completely. Remember how Hayley took out Greta the main threat to her daughter? Well Hope just did the same thing. Here's the similarities of the two sacrifice for love- an unconscious Hope an unconscious Landon. Hayley drags Greta main threat to a unconscious Hope out into the sun where they both burn die together. Hope drags Clark main threat to a unconscious Landon into the mud pit where their both wiped from existence in the memories of every one trapping them both and maybe dieing. See the similarity there? This move is more like the move that her mother once made then it is of Kluas. Not to say he didn't make sacrifices to because he did alot. But this scene reminds me more of Hayley then Kluas. From the fighting up until the sacrifice.
Also the elixir hope gave him allows him to access both human and wolf brain states and link the 2 as one for memory lapses so even in human form may take him an episode or 2 but he will remember her solidly in whole also Penelope journal that has everything written by everyone is a duplicate of all of hopes journals so there's that too
Let’s see Josie has that book that records all of the writing, aka Hope’s Diaries and not to mention all her Mikaelson Fam, seeing recent calls from their niece, pictures of Hope and maybe even letters, pretty simple magic to bring Hope back, but if that was Hope’s whole arc, pretty cool, but now Rafael can’t change back to human form, and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know why! So is Peyton and Danielle having new contract negotiations lolz. I’m looking forward to the next season!
Less not forget the fact that Josie may have written about Hope and the crush she has on in her diary. Alaric burned all of Hope's things and his. But his and Hope's things are not only things with memory of Hope.
Erica Sharp very true, HOSIE❤️, everyone is saying Raf will remember, but I’m feeling it’s gonna be sad to think he won’t, especially after telling Hope how glad he was to KNOW her. There are so much characters in Legacies a lot to explore, Hope being forgotten will be a nice way of doing that and interesting way of keeping us hooked until she returns or they remember somehow. I always thought Rafeal admitting that to Hope meant that he would soon forget her. I dont think that he may remember her. Maybe as a wolf he will. But when he turns back he'll probably forget his ever met her until now. But also like Hope said whenever Rafeal wants to be himself again all he has to do is find her. I believe before he turns back and loses his memory Rafeal as a wolf will try to find Hope.

I think the fact that when actors leave shows or are killed off, we know it. We know they had to leave. But the fact that Danielle Rose Russel (Hope) wasn’t said goodbye to in The press. She is definitely coming back. She is also the main character and the whole vampire diaries/originals universe wouldn’t make scene without her. Also think when Lulu (Penelope) left they actually had a whole post that the actress is leaving. They didn’t do that for Hope. And behind the scenes clips show Josie and Hope hanging out and saying Hosie for season 2. So for those reasons she is not really dead and she is coming back. Julie Plec just likes to make us suffer.
This was a great finale. Hope is not dead...season 2 will be about remembering Hope and finding her. I do think that Malivore will be resurrected in Landon in season 2. So Hope and Landon will be reunited and separated. Hope is not dead, I think, I think Rafael is the key, maybe he remembers her because of his connection.
Her family sacrificed everything for her, and now she has been erased and no one remember her, i'm not crying i just... no, God, i'm crying like a little girl and i can't wait till the start of next season with this thought.

I've a problem with some parts of this season finale. I'll list the following things that bothered me: 1. Hope throwing herself into the Malivore pit with Agent Clarke. 2. Rafael struck in wolf form. 3. Alaric's job being on the line. 4. Josie getting shot. If Hope comes back as only a vampire in Season 2, i'll stop watching the show. I also want to point this out, her parents would probably put a foot up her butt for what she did. They sacrificed themselves so she could live and she does THIS.

When Landon and Hope were so happy together I knew the finale was going to ruin it somehow. But I always thought it was going to be Landon in trouble/gone and Hope left fighting for him (like it usually is) But Hope sacrificing herself???!!! PLOT TWIST I also loved how it was dr Saltzmen she talked to last.
Hope explained why her. And they aren't going back to the past and changing those things or making it so that hope was never born or anything like that. She was still born and affected all those experiences. They just don't remember that.
Okay so i know Alaric burned everything he could find of Hope ever existing, but like Landon being the boyfriend and all should/might have some type of memory of Hope laying around somewhere that Alaric doesn't know of or couldn't get in time to burn. Like pictures, texts,etc. Like I hope Landon has pictures of them being together or something on his phone or in his room.
Are we forgetting about the notebook that Penelope gave Josie? Where it recorded everyone’s thoughts? And I’ve seen this theory many times and I do agree that RAF will remember her, since he was in his wolf state the issue is, what kind of state will he be in once he returns to his human form since he was struggling after the elixir. It was a great episode but like people said her family has pictures and I’m sure will know something is wrong eventually, he’s hoping 😏

I bet Hope's return to the school when Josie first sees Hope not remember having seen her before will probably be similar to that 2cd alternate universe Josie how she was instantly attracted to Hope. I bet had Josie long ago made a move on Hope instead of hiding her crush her and Hope probably would've got together. Now when Josie sees her she may not be too shy to show her attraction for her seeing as at first she wouldn't have that same fear because to her Hope's a stranger she likes. She wasn't afraid to be with Penalope and all. I did hear that Hosie will happen season 2. Maybe this is why. Landon with no memory of Hope will be out of the way maybe with someone else and memory or not Rafeal will be stuck in wolf form. So yeah the two boys who likes Hope would be out of the way. Plus the way Josie kept looking at Hope all through the episode and the fact she still wore Hope's necklace tells me that she still had a crush on the trabrid.

It is kinda funny how people think Hope died for good i mean the whole last two season of The OG basically was set up the Legacies for Hope, sure this is just the first of many death of Hope. Afterall she is a Mikaelson she will die countless times in the future i am sure

I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again: The music in this show is amazing. That’s definitely one thing they’ve been consistent with and that has helped make Legacies’ first season as great as it has been. It was something they did well with the originals too. Can’t wait for Season two, I’m addicted to this show.

Two reasons as to why Josie will be the one, who’s going to remember Hope:
1. While Alaric was burning down every evidence of Hope, Josie still has the book Penelope gave her with all the journal entries including Hope’s. (Besides the necklace is still there, right?)
2. If Josie would die some time in the premier or something, she would be still having Hope’s blood in her system, thereby creating a sire bond. There’s is also theory that she’ll keep Hope’s blood in her system for a while because she also has Malivore’s mud inside of her because of the shot. But nonetheless when Hope first disappeared everyone was back to normal, except Josie who felt pain. So they are connected in one way or another.

Hope isn't dead and she will be back... This show was literally created for hope and the twins.. If anything, Hope will come back as a full tribrid and more powerful than ever.. I think Landon's father knows something is coming that's bigger than both him and hope, and that's probably why he wanted to get out so bad. Hope and Malivore may combined powers and become this unstoppable creature

I read alot of commits saying how Hope's sacrifice scene is so like Kluas. Maybe but no not completely. Remember how Hayley took out Greta the main threat to her daughter? Well Hope just did the same thing. Here's the similarities of the two sacrifice for love- an unconscious Hope an unconscious Landon. Hayley drags Greta main threat to a unconscious Hope out into the sun where they both burn die together. Hope drags Clark main threat to a unconscious Landon into the mud pit where their both wiped from existence in the memories of every one trapping them both and maybe dieing. See the similarity there? This move is more like the move that her mother once made then it is of Kluas. Not to say he didn't make sacrifices to because he did alot. But this scene reminds me more of Hayley then Kluas. From the fighting up until the sacrifice.

Also the elixir hope gave him allows him to access both human and wolf brain states and link the 2 as one for memory lapses so even in human form may take him an episode or 2 but he will remember her solidly in whole also Penelope journal that has everything written by everyone is a duplicate of all of hopes journals so there's that too
Let’s see Josie has that book that records all of the writing, aka Hope’s Diaries and not to mention all her Mikaelson Fam, seeing recent calls from their niece, pictures of Hope and maybe even letters, pretty simple magic to bring Hope back, but if that was Hope’s whole arc, pretty cool, but now Rafael can’t change back to human form, and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know why! So is Peyton and Danielle having new contract negotiations lolz. I’m looking forward to the next season!
Less not forget the fact that Josie may have written about Hope and the crush she has on in her diary. Alaric burned all of Hope's things and his. But his and Hope's things are not only things with memory of Hope.
Erica Sharp very true, HOSIE❤️, everyone is saying Raf will remember, but I’m feeling it’s gonna be sad to think he won’t, especially after telling Hope how glad he was to KNOW her. There are so much characters in Legacies a lot to explore, Hope being forgotten will be a nice way of doing that and interesting way of keeping us hooked until she returns or they remember somehow. I always thought Rafeal admitting that to Hope meant that he would soon forget her. I dont think that he may remember her. Maybe as a wolf he will. But when he turns back he'll probably forget his ever met her until now. But also like Hope said whenever Rafeal wants to be himself again all he has to do is find her. I believe before he turns back and loses his memory Rafeal as a wolf will try to find Hope.

I think the fact that when actors leave shows or are killed off, we know it. We know they had to leave. But the fact that Danielle Rose Russel (Hope) wasn’t said goodbye to in The press. She is definitely coming back. She is also the main character and the whole vampire diaries/originals universe wouldn’t make scene without her. Also think when Lulu (Penelope) left they actually had a whole post that the actress is leaving. They didn’t do that for Hope. And behind the scenes clips show Josie and Hope hanging out and saying Hosie for season 2. So for those reasons she is not really dead and she is coming back. Julie Plec just likes to make us suffer.
This was a great finale. Hope is not dead...season 2 will be about remembering Hope and finding her. I do think that Malivore will be resurrected in Landon in season 2. So Hope and Landon will be reunited and separated. Hope is not dead, I think, I think Rafael is the key, maybe he remembers her because of his connection.

I've a problem with some parts of this season finale. I'll list the following things that bothered me:
1. Hope throwing herself into the Malivore pit with Agent Clarke.
2. Rafael struck in wolf form.
3. Alaric's job being on the line.
4. Josie getting shot.
If Hope comes back as only a vampire in Season 2, i'll stop watching the show. I also want to point this out, her parents would probably put a foot up her butt for what she did. They sacrificed themselves so she could live and she does THIS.

Okay so i know Alaric burned everything he could find of Hope ever existing, but like Landon being the boyfriend and all should/might have some type of memory of Hope laying around somewhere that Alaric doesn't know of or couldn't get in time to burn. Like pictures, texts,etc. Like I hope Landon has pictures of them being together or something on his phone or in his room.
I think the letters he wrote to her will comeback to him and that’s how he’ll remember her. They were mentioned in episode 8.
Are we forgetting about the notebook that Penelope gave Josie? Where it recorded everyone’s thoughts? And I’ve seen this theory many times and I do agree that RAF will remember her, since he was in his wolf state the issue is, what kind of state will he be in once he returns to his human form since he was struggling after the elixir. It was a great episode but like people said her family has pictures and I’m sure will know something is wrong eventually, he’s hoping 😏

I bet Hope's return to the school when Josie first sees Hope not remember having seen her before will probably be similar to that 2cd alternate universe Josie how she was instantly attracted to Hope. I bet had Josie long ago made a move on Hope instead of hiding her crush her and Hope probably would've got together. Now when Josie sees her she may not be too shy to show her attraction for her seeing as at first she wouldn't have that same fear because to her Hope's a stranger she likes. She wasn't afraid to be with Penalope and all.
I did hear that Hosie will happen season 2. Maybe this is why. Landon with no memory of Hope will be out of the way maybe with someone else and memory or not Rafeal will be stuck in wolf form. So yeah the two boys who likes Hope would be out of the way. Plus the way Josie kept looking at Hope all through the episode and the fact she still wore Hope's necklace tells me that she still had a crush on the trabrid.
