I get these pops & bangs on my mt-07. Seems like each individual will have a different sound, mine only does it when off the gas or shifting. Which is fine, unsure if mine has a flame but does pop just as loud!
@@at0ny That's correct on paper at the crank. This is the power to the wheel. (Yamaha states HP stock to the wheel is 104.2HP so about a 7.5HP increase to the wheel) Stock bike dyno like this wont give you 115hp. If you calculate Yamaha posted hp its about 10% of loss to the wheels. So taking my 111.62Hp and adding 10% we get 123.9HP so that value of 123hp can be compares the the 115hp technically.
@@wristroom thats wierd seen a lot of them here in NL. Stock some more then 115hp on dyno. Maybe different dyno, fuel ron98 etc do a lot also. Last one i seen on dyno at druif racing had 128whp with bcm sport filter and akrapovic exhaust.
@@wheelie-gonzales there are many opinions on if they are better or doesn't matter. I did mine to prevent some of the fire coming out . It was really loud on decel in any gear
@@plmason12 there are schools of thought out there that believe these fireballs are damaging to the engine/exhaust back pressure and ultimately take away from the life of the engine. Much further than that, I don’t know.
@@wristroom we have "Fast and Furious" wannabes here who buy these clapped out compact cars delete the cats, and install 3"straight through Chinese mufflers right on the exhaust end. Very raspy, and obnoxious, sounds like a tin can of angry bees that have flatulence. Sorry but that's the sound that makes. Maybe the packing is too tight in the muffler body but its bad. I've heard other Black Widow exhaust that sound good, even am buying one for my Honda. But my MT will stay stock.
