I always loved harvest season....When I was a kid, we use to go to S. MN to visit relatives mid October when harvest was rolling.... I remember getting to ride in a new 715 IH combine, that's how old I am🤣🤣🤣....That's a sweet old COE IH, 30 years ago you couldn't give them away. Today they go for good money, everybody wants one....Thanks for the memories and the ride Erik.
Good morning Erik. Appears to have been a good harvest. They built stalks chopper for the 2ME IH picker. Needed a 400 to power it. The M wasn't enough.
@@brycewiborg8095 good evening Bryce. I can't complain about how things went. I guess I didn't know they had stalk choppers for those pickers. That would be neat to see. It definitely takes more power. Thanks Bryce.
@@farawayfarm2520 Thanks. It definitely turned white, still not enough to take the snowmobile out. I'm still debating if I should push snow in the yard.
That 9500 is moving along pretty easily. Is that a six row head? That big unloading tube really moves corn. Makes my 4400’s systems seem ancient. Corn to the horizon😅.
@@brapperdan9554 can't complain about yield. There are plenty of sleds around. Still not enough to go riding. Probably better off with a horse at this point. 😁

@@brenterickson1695 it's a fun time of the year. Those were good combines. I'd have to say that semi is pretty neat. Thanks Brent.

Nice corn. I like all the parts without snow. I imagine you got more than us out of the last snow event.

Looks like they went from a 4 row wide to a 6-30”
@@Rollinghillsfarmsmn it's a good combine. 6 row narrow chopping corn head for my corn. At the start there was four row wide.
@@StewartLandandCattle correct.
We had an amazing harvest this year
And we went over 60 days without rain
67 I believe it was
I think we were about the same. Crazy how dry it got after being so wet.
Hope harvest was profitable! Snow event today 12/19 maybe I should’ve bought a snowmobile. I have this thought every year

The biggest problem with this years harvest was combine fires
It was super dry, I didn't hear of any combine fires in my area. Thanks Gary.
How many hp in that beast on the grain cart?
It's an 8650 and if I remember correctly this one has 250 HP on the drawbar.
Good morning Erik ☕️☕️
Good evening Gary.
Takes a while with a four row.
Yes it does.
