- Complex World is our docuseries that goes beyond the headlines with real issues and real news. This week, we bring you the story of Zack Stoner, an independent citizen journalist, who was shot and killed in downtown Chicago in May of 2018. Stoner gained local fame for his gritty videos that chronicled a life in Chicago that was rarely captured by news cameras. Naming himself the "hood CNN", Zack interviewed up and coming rappers such as Chief Keef, Famous Dex, and Lil Durk on his UA-cam page ZackTV1. We speak to Zack's family, the Committee to Protect Journalists and Ntare Mwine, who plays Ronnie on the Showtime series The Chi about Zack's legacy and impact as a documentarian of Chicago's Southside and why his death remains unsolved.

Idgaf how many people go to vlad tv. Lol
Nobody will ever cover the hood better than our own people
I’m just glad someone is talking about Zack!
"WOAHHH WOAHHHHH Y'ALL GOT 30s?!?!?!" rest in peace zack
A journalist indeed. The coverage of the Kenneka Jenkins story is how I became aware of Zack. Tragic end. Justice for Zack.
I dont even know Zack like that... But I miss him... Much love from the UK... Rest in Paradise brother...
A Real Hood Legend 🖤 Still can’t believe the shit till this day 💔
I’m glad y’all shedding light on bro’s hard work. He tried for his city fr fr.
His familiarity and ease with all the Chicago legends was so impressive. Everyone he interviewed felt like they were relaxed and real when talking to him. Like people trusted him enough to be themselves in front of the camera.
I still think his death had something to do with that phone call he got from that mysterious lady about backing off the Kenneka Jenkins case.
Zack didn't deserve it man, long live zacktv his interviews will go down in history
Long overdue! Mad respect to whoever did this. Miss his interviews... "woah, woah!"
Of course we know zack for being in them trenches but let’s not forgot he was the only one to cover that Kenneka Jenkins case. RIP ZackTV
