Oops, I missed this video last night. Excellent Wordle and a great filler to get out of a treacherous trap. Five for me: AROSE, THING, CLUMP, BULLY, FULLY. I lost what I thought was a 50/50 between BULLY/FULLY but I still got it in under a minute. Oh no, DULLY was also possible. Lucky, phew! Oh no, tough Connections. Good effort getting 2 groups, I got only 1. Good Mini. 54 seconds for me. Solid Strands. I also entered several extra words and eventually got it without hints.
I also failed connections, but I had a different attack angle. Yellow as the only obvious category to me. For purple, I was actually chasing slang for characters: DOPE, SNOOP, LAD, GOOF and DROOP. After two misses, I landed on it by accident. figuring DOPE went with what turned out to be green. I could not separate green from light blue as I've never heard of a Sizzle Reel, and I thought SIZZLE was slang for lowdown. The whole puzzle felt too Connected to slang used in entertainment / late night TV which I'm not up on.
I only figured out the purple category once I'd identified the other ones. I think finding the 3 of 4 non-double-O words that had a meaning in common would have been easier at the end there.
yes he's fine. he didn't leave because of an emergency or anything bad, just something unexpected which tells me he got surprised with a vacation or something
He’ll probably do the other games again when he gets home. The NYT games are all in one place and mobile friendly. The others aren’t as easy to do without his full setup.
Wordle 1,187 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ROUTE ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 SNAIL 🟩🟩⬜🟩🟩 FUGLY 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 FULLY After 2 guesses, I thought of 12 possible answers (listed in alphabetical order): BULGY, BULKY, BULLY, DULLY, FUGLY, FULLY, GULCH, GULLY, HULKY, LUCKY, MULCH, and PULPY According to WordleBot, I completely missed the word LUMPY (an embarrassing oversight). Would the NY Times use BEAUT and FUGLY on consecutive days? I didn't think so, but I decided that testing "Y" with 2 unique consonants was more efficient than a double "L". After my 3rd guess (FUGLY), there was only one possible answer. Current Streak = 967
"sizzle reel" is a term used in the entertainment industry that's pretty much the same as "highlight reel"

"Snoopy is definitely not Disney" Not yet, at least.

I usually do Pious after trace! Not sure if it’s the best but it gets you all the vowels
Strands was nice that day. Didn't need hints!

So glad to see your thoughts today. I hope everything is going well for you.

@@welcomebackpotter722How do you get surprised by a vacation? Because I would love to know the secret 😂
It's level
Have you decided not to do sudoku anymore?

Oh thank you. They are my favorite.
