How to reduce postoperative pulmonary complications after surgery?

In this lecture, I summarized the definitions prevalence of postoperative pulmonary complications. I also clarified the true and the fake risk factors for developing complications. I mentioned also the effective methods for evaluation and risk stratification. Finally I summarized the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative interventions to reduce pulmonary complications according to the available guidelines.
