Thank you for this service. I’ve been struggling with depression and anxiety for years. These two things stem from the sins I’ve committed and dwelled upon. God has been convicting my heart to move forward. Please pray that I remember to look ahead, focus on God and remember that I’m not the center of the universe. My sins are forgiven and Christ, the Holy Spirit and The Lord are to be the focus of my life.
Once we ask God for forgiveness, he forgives us, and doesn't hold our past sins against us! Moving forward in life while purposing to be more and more Christ-like is the way to go.
We pray for you, that your past is no longer a stronghold against you! 🙏

What if a person was sexually molested by a family member that claims to be a Christian? Does the victim just move on? What does the victim need to do?
Hey Richard!
Instead of just moving on, the Bible tells us to forgive others. (Mark 11:25)
Forgiveness doesn't mean just setting the issue aside, but rather confronting it and choosing that you aren't going to be hindered by it any longer.
A lot of times we think of forgiveness as something that sets the other person free... but really it sets ourselves free. Jesus died on the cross to set us (YOU) free from the bondages of life. But before He can truly work in our lives, we must choose to forgive others.
A lot of times, truly forgiving someone is a process. So please reach out to us, and a Pastor would love to help you through your situation!
