And then taylor released folklore so ofc I had to use one of the songs from the album. Anyway excuse me while I go bribe naughty dog to make a DLC so that we can see these two be happy together.

Wasn't it Ellie who said "i'm afraid ending up alone"? I kinda understand her and Abby started something and they had to finish it but it cost them both Abby's friends and Ellie's family

I dont understand people that said their relationship was forced. Like. Hello?? They were love at first sight as soon as Joel and Ellie went there. U can tell from their conversations about how they first saw each other about Dina questioning why was this girl kept eating all the jerky n all that. And Dina did say, she shouldve kissed her sooner cuz her feelings for Ellie(and maybe vice versa) were already showing, they just had to make sure. Most probably why or maybe one of the reasons why Jesse and Dina broke up because Dina realized her feelings for Ellie and Jesse knew that. Also, about Dina's pregnancy. Something happened to Dina and Jesse even before they were broken up. So when Ellie and her got together, something was already in her belly- sorry. I meant someONE. A living human baby creature xD so Dina didnt cheat. They love each other wholeheartedly. And I could understand why Dina uhhh "broke up" with Ellie by letting her go and saying "Im not gonna do this again..." after that fight with Abby in the theater where they all almost died, her, Ellie and Tommy, she was knocked out by Abby. But maybe Ellie told her that their lives were spared by that "little kid" Lev and were told by Abby to never show their faces ever again to her. Dina probably was convinced to not risk their lives anymore, going after Abby. Because shes scared that one wrong move, and she'll lose Ellie- forever. They probably had a lot of fights and arguments and Dina won her over again and again. But when Tommy came, brought back Ellie's sense of revenge. But Dina was just done. She wouldve still went with Ellie if JJ will not be involved. But shes got a kid to take care of. So she cant risk her life by going with Ellie. She just cant. And I can understand why Ellie still wants to go after Abby. She cant eat, sleep, be peaceful. Just like when Joel killed Abby's father. All of this is because of the circling violence and urge for revenge. And Im glad Ellie didnt kill Abby, even tho shes killed more than a lot before going after her. What matters is, the strength to actually stop that brutal cycle. And that took a lot of fucking guts. Give Ellie some credit. She didnt "waste" her life by going on a rampage to kill Abby, just to let her go when she had the chance to take her life. She redeemed herself and forgave herself and accepted the fact that, killing her or anyone else will NEVER bring ANYONE or Joel back no matter how much she wished nor how she would give everything just to have him back

Ellie really fucked up. I understand why she did what she did. I know what it feels like to have someone you love taken from you by another person. Did I want revenge? Yes, and I still do. But it's not worth it. Family is more important. Ellie, you fucked up.
She didn't leave for revenge. She left for closure. Ellie suffered from terrible PTSD episodes to the point where she wasn't safe around Dina and JJ and there's not really a therapist in the apocalypse. If she stayed, she would've gotten worse to the point of maybe killing herself. I don't agree with how she went about her search for closure but she did it and it's better than letting it fester and consume her.
