    Look at that forward lean of Jakob! Perfect for going faster. Perfection of style, running form, and technique. He WANTS to go faster....and FASTER. Psychologically---not just physically---tough, steely strength of mind. And he will run faster. He makes it look like he is just cruising. Like s Sunday jog. So cool, calm, relaxed. No grimaces, no fear. Confidence in his extraordinary abilities. Pure dominance. Mastery.

      Just think he has run 1500m 2s faster at the Olympics. He is not overtaxing himself in the first event of the season. It is pretty incredible to think he is still ramping up for later races. He did what he needed and it almost feels like we will see an annual WR for indoor from him.

    • @matster77
      @matster77 2 роки тому +7

      @@goatbloat8233 In good outdoor conditions, times are almost always faster than indoors (indoors is often better for more consistent weather conditions, but running more turns on a 200m track is ultimately not as quick as less turns on a 400m circuit).
      In short, 3.30 indoors is probably pretty close to 3.28 outdoors (but comparisons are always imperfect)

      I hope you're joking ...he need at least 3 years to get to 3.27 ...for flat 3.26.... you need talent and hard working and a perfect race ...even Hisham couldn't break it after he did it once

    • @arizjones
      @arizjones 2 роки тому +2

      @@GoldenWill Why would I be joking? He just ran faster than any man in history. Tell me who has run faster indoors? Did Hisham run this fast indoors? This is just his first race of the season. And he is young and his times are dropping.

    • @sundromos9456

      @@GoldenWill I think needing 3 years to 3:27 may be underestimating him. No one would really be surprised to see him go below 3:28 this summer. But yes, 3:26 even that's going to be a tough one, no matter how many years, despite him being only 21 at present. El Gherrouj's record was set when he was 24. Ingebrigtsen's 3 years younger and his PB is still 2:32 above HEG's record.
      Who knows what his ceiling is, but with this kid surprises are the norm. He just keeps resetting the bar, getting steadily faster, and really becoming a better racer with every year.

    Je le savais, ce n'était qu'une question de temps.
    Et 46/100 secondes, c'est beaucoup dans le 1500 mètres, et aussi dans le début de la saison de concours pour Jakob.
    S'il y a quelqu'un qui pourrait courir le 1500 mètres en salle sous 3,30. ça doit être Jakob, il est tellement bon.
    Après tout l'entraînement qu'il fait, il mérite ce record.
    Je pense que Jakob pourrait être le prochain sous 3,27 à l'extérieur, sous 3,28,50 au début de la saison extérieure, plein air 2022.
    Mais s'il tombe un jour bien en dessous de 3,27, seul le temps nous le dira.

      3:26 ? Ce jour-là, Hicham avait comme lièvre ... Ngeny ... Recordman du 1000m qui outre sa vitesse avait une capacité de courir à un rythme très régulier ...
      Maintenant avec les lumières, cela peut facilment être réalisé ... Pour le WR de Jakob, on lui a "offert" le N°5 mondial sur 800 m ... Pour autant je pense que Jakob peut facilement courir sous les 3:27 avec de bons lièvres mais sous les 3:26, il manque encore de vitesse pure ...
