🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 a lot of them would die... as they don't know how to aspirate in outer space... that came out death serious. I almost peed my pants.... omg... incredible...
The pink ramen looks reminiscent of ground beef
It totally does.
@@peterbrownwastaken dip ground beef next so we can compare :)
YES! That was the first thing I thought of. 😂
@@BigDaddyOworkshop only if its dehydrated
I was gonna say.
Me shouting ‘MOLD RELEASE PETER’ when he stuck the second tub into the resin 🙈
Same haha!!!
Some folx never learn
Nope... why you need that for... 🤣🤣🤣
"Definitely not my best idea"
And somehow; not the worst by a longshot.
I feel like if he’d added mold release to the bottom of the inner bin, it would’ve worked perfectly
Honestly, one of my favorite parts of these vids are the “wife’s opinion” section. She’s so supportive and funny! Hearing y’all laugh makes my day ☺️
"Scidaddle Scadoodle your knife is now a noodle" 🧙♂️
Shakespeare agrees, a knife is just a small sword 😂
Love the use of the nuts as weights.... even in sacs...
I had to scroll far too far to see this comment. Although even my juvenile mind didn't get the joke until he pointed it out. Then I giggled.
“Bolt-end Sacks”
I've seen you in the comments before you are incredibly gorgeous
That's what we call on dutch the... you know... the mensbusiness... when I am mad at my husband I start singing the nutcracker suite from Tchaikovsky... he knows how late it is than... time to disappear 🤣🤣🤣
I expected almost everything except that elephants fact
Elephants are made from elements, true story.
I always heard it expressed in terms of lawyers: “Did you know that if you laid a continuous band of lawyers around the equator, almost 75% of them would drown?”
@@christophersmith108 I see only 25% of a problem with this plan!
Perhaps it is just me, but if you "laid a continuous band of lawyers around the equator" I would be totally grossed out !!
You know Peter, I've been here since you're first video you ever posted. And I've watched your UA-cam humor evolve. And I gotta say you're definitely my favorite epoxy UA-cam artist out there. You're really the reason I even started my epoxy hobby. Thuanks for all the wonderful content a million thumbs ups.
Thank you.
Oh Peter I've missed your content so much!
Thank you!
Yeah, man ! Where have you been. Hope all is well!
Follow him on Instagram and you'll be in the know of what he's been doing.
Mrs. Brown laughing and gently roasting you was my favourite part, followed closely by how cool the metal looked shining through the ramen gaps, followed closely by when you suddenly realized there was dye on the mat after realizing there was dye on the mat.
I wish I could give an upvote each for your wife, you, and the strangely pretty knife.
Curious, could you do your stabilizing resin in one color, and then do your casting resin in another? Might be interesting to have a two-tone effect.
Sounds cool! I wonder if you might have to use a mica colourant for the casting resin, so that it doesn’t dye the whole job.
I feel like he could stop the vacuum chamber before it was done bubbling switch out the color and repeat however many times. I have no idea if it would work. He could also only partially submerge an object in stabilizer.
Peter: "I bought a new bottle of Cactus Juice Stabilizing Resin"
Husband: "It'll quench ya."
NOTHING'S QUENCHIER!!!
IT'S THE QUENCHIEST!!
Yay. Any day that Peter releases a video is instantly a good day. Turned out really great.
I love when we get to hear from Mrs. Brown! Looks great. Keep up the cool ideas. ATB : )
Sometimes you have to beat the comments section to the joke ;-) Very cool experiment, it looks awesome!
And for those of you who are confused, he made a nut sack.
@@zorod5475 what's the joke
Thank God! I've been rewatching the classics just hoping you'd come back! Welcome back, King
Thank you so much for the content. I love getting a video from you. Your humor, your entertainment, your assumption that anyone watching is already a fan and a part of your community, your creativity. It's great!
I love the dip it stuff, it's like making items for a LARP quest or something.
Oh man... BRAAAAIIIINNNNNSSS!!! I bet you could make some really neat Halloween zombie themed decorations using the pink ramen technique as brains :) Great video as always... didn't realize how much I needed a little shop time this week. Thanks Peter!
4:18 Peter: "I do realize what I'm making here and it is unfortunate..."
me: "yeah. literal bombs, that explode in the vacuum. still strange how calm he is. will there be a solu- ohhhhh... nut sacs! I get it... "
Oh ... I didn't get it. I thought vacuum bombs too. Cheers!
Haha, nuts in sacs 🤦♂️!
Would a Ziploc bag be secure enough to even build up that much pressure, I feel like it would rip or open before they could do any damage
Wow that came out incredible
How did you reply 4 hours ago 10 in seconds ?
I was going to ask the same thing. The video isn't even on Peter channel yet.
How..

Actually turns out nice. The best part of your videos are always you and your wife talking about the project at the end. I never think about it until it's happening and it makes me smile every time 👍
Whoa, that turned out so awesome! Love the depth and effect it has! Cool experiment! 🙌😍🍜
Hearing how happy you and your wife sound in just conversation makes me happy. It's always the simple things
Loved the Aussie Icehouse reference. I never realised that song would’ve been played over in the US. Electric Blue is a classic 80’s aussie song. And yeah I agree, Iva Davies mullet back then was pretty epic.
I freakin love Icehouse. Such a great band
Bravo for the Icehouse reference. I was thinking the same thing when you said the color.
@@cap5856 They had a song titled "Electric Blue" which is the name of one of the dyes.
Me too. I have the keyboard part stuck in my head now.
That elephant fact shouldn't have made me laugh so hard
I love Mrs. Brown's commentary. So wholesome every time!
Peter, I've watched every video of yours and have been watching for years sss. Since even before the gummy bear ax days
that turned out way better then i expected... other then the thumb nail. great video. easily the best ramen noodle vid out there yet!
Your creativity never ceases to amaze me. But, I've gotta admit, I'm kinda low key bummed you didn't make the green one. (For full disclosure, that's solely because green is my favorite color. LOL)
Green is my favorite color too! Also, love the misha pfp
Loved the end result! It was such a cool look. It’s amazing that you made something that awesome out of ramen noodles. It’s always nice to see a new video of yours pop up too.
“Today I’m gonna be trying something you guys have been asking me to do for a while, Dying”
This video is a perfect example if why I love your chanel. It's fun, it's funny and you come up with some truly interesting projects.
Why is it I wanted to see if it would glow under florescent lights! Looks incredible
As a lifelong knife carrier, I would proudly put that on my hip!
I usually edit out most of the sanding... I'm now coming to realize how much that sanding is most of what you do... 😇
Yeah definitely need to mix a little blue and pink on a future project
Curious. Would there be any drawback to letting the items drip over a rack or something after the cactus juice, but before the baking, to keep from having the extra resin pooled at the bottom? Just curious since it sometimes leaves darker dye or a sheet of clear on it.
I've wondered that too.
That shot at 12:42 was genius. It looked super awesome the way the pink disappeared behind the blade!
"I know what I'm making here... it's unfortunate"
took me a while to realize those were LITERAL nuts 😳 I thought it was just funny shape but nOPE
Lol yes... He made a nut sack 🤦😂
"I know what I'm making here... it's unfortunate"
Me: "...colored ramen? Oh, because those are...and you put them in...Got it."
Have you considered mold release on your measuring buckets for your cup stacking? I have no idea how that really works but it came to mind as you were trying out that method!
Peter: “It’s hard to tell the green from the blue”.
Me being colourblind: I know, right!?
I love that you can see the tang through the clear resin, its a really nice touch. That pink handle is also gonna make it easier to find the knife if its ever dropped or lost. Camo knives are nice and all but if you drop that sucker in the grass its lost forever lmao.
Also less likely to get purloined.
So could you call this a... "dye-a-ramen"?
*slow clap*
You probably won't get proper recognition for this, but I want you to know that that is a beautiful and terrible pun.
@@AnesidoraAston he responded though
🙈🙈🙈🙈
I wish i could understand this joke to appreciate it
Watching your videos always makes my day better!
Comment your Dye puns down below:
-Do you expect me to cook?
-No Mr. Brown, I expect you to Dye!
I’m dying to hear more
Wasn’t that from Live & Let Dye?
Dye another day
Live Free or Dye Hard. And it's a good day to dye.
Single handedly one of the coolest/prettiest things you’ve made!!
Hope to see something interesting infused with that electric blue in the future. Super punky spalted light colored wood would be transformed by blue stabilization mayhaps. Thank again for the awesome entertainment.
Your videos make my day so much better
"BOLT END SACKS" lol took a few seconds to register in my head what he meant earlier 😂
I did my first knife kit last year and it turned out okay-ish! Not my favorite project and probably won’t do another, but it was worth trying!
I love how the tang shows through the gaps in the ramen. BTW I think a new channel about animal facts should be on the horizon.
I just can't get over how wholesome your content is
"I think it's gonna dye no matter what so I'm going to go ahead and turn off the pump" Not something you'd want to hear in a hospital!
Magnificent Peter! These videos have been a bright light for me these past few months. Best wishes to you and your family.
I needed something positive today, and seeing this pop up on UA-cam was it 🙂
I love your videos so much, Peter. Happy to see you posting again!!
10:05
Did you know there are more planes and helicopters on the bottom of the sea than there are submarines in the sky?
This reminds me of that colored microwave popcorn from the 90s, especially your emerald green ramen.
It's so weird to see this after having rewatching evanandkatelyn's resin knife video. You should collab with them when you can, they do a ton with resin as well
That would be awesome!
Your dad jokes bring me joy
The knife scales looks almost 3-D its kinda trippy.
On acid rn and yes it is very trippy
It is 3D. Or did you mean it looks like a hologram?
I can't wait to see the green and blue ideas!!
If you haven't already given them away, you should offer one to "The French Guy," Alex. He's obsessed with ramen.
This was a ton of fun to watch! Great job as usual:)
"definitely not my best idea"
No, but it's certainly in keeping with the Peter Brown tradition
I'm glad you're posting again, I kept checking pretty often when you weren't lol. You make really great content and I hope all is well :)
Never stop making videos. The kids and I always enjoy watching whatever you do. Especially the dip it and resin dye experiments. Also, I wonder if you could have baked the nuts. The color was great on those.
Can you make a ball or solid object with just stablizing resin? Like you can make objects with casing resin (balls, cubes, bowls), could you do the same with stabilizing resin?
Of all the dip-it's I've seen, and that's all of em, this is my favorite
Wait someone made a guitar out of Ramen Noodles?
Edit: Here is a link to that video. ua-cam.com/video/bTgEamJYohY/v-deo.html
Jesus its something.
Yes. Definitely worth a quick UA-cam search!
@@peterbrownwastaken, I'll go take a look.
Peter with the sass and dad jokes, love it!
Why didnt you take smaller chunks of the colours and put them in the mold, when you then resined? You could've combined colours that way, or had a nicer variance in noodle directions with on colour and add clear contrast.
Oh yes. Deeply exciting. Thank you for this gift.
Q: What do cannibals eat if they can't get a fire started?
A: Ramen
Fantastic colours! And I love the "I don't know"-attitude you have here. :D And the conversations with Mrs is super cute
Peter: "I do realize what I'm making here, and I know it is unfortunate."
Me: 😏🤣🤣
Yeah, I was a little slow picking up what he was dropping... It was like a joke grenade.
Nice pfp :)
The depth and see through bits are really cool!
I just told my 11 year old elephant fact and she lost her mind in fits of giggles
This is really cool. I make knife scales for my son. I always take the existing scales and mold them. I get the perfect shape and perfect whole placement everytime 😁😉
"If I was by myself I wouldn't go through all this hassle."
How to have it shut down and told to sleep on the couch in 12 words or less.
Hey! I've been waiting for you to post because you read your comments on new videos. I wanted to say...
Thank you so much for your referral of the King Killer Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.
I actually had several false starts on the Name of the Wind(that's book 1 for everyone who isn't familiar). I didn't get it at all. I'm glad I kept reading. The whole book was beautiful. It is definitely a favorite of mine.
Then I read the next book "A Wise Man's Fear" and that was easily my most favorite story of all time.
Now I'll go watch this video.
Oh I'll also add that the narrator, Nick Podehl, was phenomenal. He was a symphony of voices and heart.
The narrator and the author combined to play a most beautiful game.
Am I the only one who thinks the end result looks like ground beef?
The whole video is great, but the banter at the end with your wife was worth the price of admission :)
looks like some fine ground meat in that handle
I love the interaction and inclusion of you wife, it’s beautiful to hear and alway make me smile.
I carry a knife on me every single day. You know why? Incase there is cake...
That or someone needs there neck readjusted
Boyfriend: Why do you always have a knife?
Me: Mimics.
The boyfriend laughed. I laughed. The table laughed. I stabbed the table. Good times.
And now i have a reason to carry a knife.
Ramen bowl made out of ramen! I'd like to see you use multiple colors! Maybe some of them would marble or glow under UV light!
Who actually buys pork flavor ramen?! 🤣
Once again a great video with Pete using his noodle
Woo! Its always a good day to get a dip it video.
The moment we've all been waiting for, has come... yay! A new video!
Love the experiments, please keep pumping these out
You get a thumbs up for the Ice House reference. You get an air high five for the awesome video!
As a knife maker I was yelling at the screen “WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? YOU FORGOT THE PINS !!!”
I used to watch this channel all the time, no clue why i kinda took a break. Great content Peter!
Oh man, I never thought about you doing knife scales, this is awesome. I hope you do more of these
Very nicely done, especially considering you've never made a set of scales let alone put them on a knife. I like it.
