The Geara Doga definitely feels like it's intended as an aggressive front line general, the kind that wants to push forward with it's bulk and offensively useful skills like Maneuver armor and Dodge roll, practically unlimited access to close range stuns, and being able to hide it's approach smoke. Lacking ASL, low shot mod, and being a broad fellow makes it really painful to try to go for a shoot out against anything other than other melee focused enemies. It's a ton of fun in those matches were everything turns into a massive brawl, especially if you get used to the quick swaps.
@@angery9764 Greetings Mk. V. Is there something I can assist you with? I am unfortunately unfamiliar with the maintenance requirements of the ORX-013 Gundam Mk-V, but I am happy to assist within the means of my programing.
@@imagonnakikyou6820 Yes. You can also stand backwards and chuck grenades instead because your R-Jarga is throwing Downswings like they're going out of style.
I'd love to see the psycho geara doga added. Always liked that it mounts the funnels inside the shoulder armor. It also has an interesting head redesign, and an actual shield.
@@zacktrujillo3473 No. The pscyho geara doga was a prototype mobile suit from the spin off of Char's Counterattack: Beltorchika's Children. It's all white, has a different head, shoulder armor, shield, and rifle.
Mark Simmons is an interesting fellow. I've read a lot on his musings on Gundam (both official and unofficial) especially about how certain MS stat performance from suits from 0080 and 0083 were oddly inflated compared to the rest of the series.. I'd love to hear more musings from him.
I first interacted with Gundam fandom via his Gundam Project site many, many years ago. He's always been a really nice guy and extremely generous with his time.
She is using geara doga commander type it can be toggle on or off the horn that is the blue geara doga is that ace's custom commander type and I hope they add it.
Not me for having both the lv2 beam MG & saber for the Doga but not having the unit itself.. Speaking of weapon sharing, in Twilight Axis, a custom Zaku III is using the Doga's beam mg.. hope someday in the game the zaku iii can actually equip it. Getting sick of the need to roll for lv2 weapons of each beam rifle/saber for each new unit.
I think they should have all the available weapons unlocked form the start and my reasoning behind this is that some MS have alternate weapons. For example the GM sniper 2 has his sniper rifle, a beam gun and bullpup machinegun. Having a different main weapon can drastically change how the MS behaves and locking weapons behind loot boxes is unacceptable. It also makes balancing a issue. Having the same gun on five different MS makes it impossible to balance it for each MS.
I wonder what other versions of the Jegan and the Geara Doga are we’re going to have before the the nu Gundam and the Sazabi arrive And happy Ramadan to everyone that celebrate it
Did that for my Geara Doga. Mine is a Red and white Geara Doga. Not trying to imitate Char at all. Red is just my favorite color is all. I often pilot a red Gouf Custom or a red Kampfer or a red Efreet Custom though. But the Geara Doga gives me more versatility. The rockets on it are hard to accurately hit anyone from a short to medium range when you need a punch but its a good overall suit once you get the hang of it.
@@LagunaShirogane I decided to give it a coat of gyunei and full frontal custom colors, I'm not too great with it but the versatility of it is definitely a plus imo.
@@lawhammergaming Yeah i often find myself using underrated mobile suits sometimes. Such as beating the daylights out of my opponents with the Zaku I or the Zudah (original) in the low cost battles. Highly doubt they'll have the Gera Doga use the older neo Zeon weapons, The GM cannon could use a GM II beam rifle in the anime but we can't use it in game
Ranged is nonexistent on this thing honestly. The BMG is neat but deals really bad damage and stagger buildup is slow too, like I cannot stress how bad it feels to use it. And the wire, missles and rifle grenade are mostly mid range and fizzle at longer ranges. Basically, just play this like a CQC suit and ignore the BMG. Also the Sturmfausts being on its left side can be awkward at times.
It's always funny when people try to pronounce greek names. That being said writing english or japanese words in greek is really akward some times. For example we don't have a letter for the sound D, instead we use -nt so if you wanted to write -nd you would have to write -nnt...
Honestly I’m still upset I didn’t get the Jegan, i’ve officially decided to stop pulling for two star suits. Though I seem to have decent luck at getting them through either random drop crates at the end of matches or while trying to get another three star.
I preferred the Geara Doga honestly but if you look online, there's evidence that Neo Zeon under Haman Karn and the Sleeves had worked on the Zaku IV but it didnt quite lift off the ground fully due to the wars ending. Full Frontal merely continued Haman's project on the Zaku IV. The Geara Doga was simply Char trying to make a suit that makes a return to a balanced mobile suit instead of keeping the trend of building overly specialized mobile suits...using the research data from Haman Karn's Zaku III and Zaku II variants from the OYW including the Pezen Projects.
I also like its set up. Some people talk trash about it like it's supposed to take more than two suits at a time, ridiculous. It has two stuns and it technically has 3 melee weapons. The only thing that's holding it back is the BMG it has. It's kinda trash if we're being honest.
@@Darth_Anomalous ya the bmg is defined a drawback, but as it is it's a wonderful ms imo an for those with good skills it's deadly. I hope we get to see a support variant if it heavy arms, but we shall see.
Why does BB Studios keep making high melee damage units with an asston of ranged weapons? Would it hurt so bad to just add a few general MS with 3 or 4 ranged weapons and have a decent or high ranged stat to make it purely a ranged MS? Yes I already know we have the EX-S Gundam and Döven Wolf but those are special units, and I know theres a few others and some low cost ranged generals but I mean across the board some ranged generals with a few ranged weapons that purely fight that way to mix up and break the monotony of zooka into melee meta. Never gonna happen of course but I wonder what their deal is?

Absolutely killer that it lacks ASL. Makes it hard to aim.
Char's Counterattack and CC-MSV did not have a lot of suits so we will probably get lots of the remaining suits between now and unicorn i imagine
