Thank u for the lesson. У меня есть один вопрос. With rule number 6: lose ending for a/я ending . But with the example стая- стай . Й is added here. Please explain. Thank u
I found your channel a few months ago while looking for Russian Honey Cake recipes. I was just browsing your channel and saw that one of the channels you follow is Herr Antrim. Would you believe that was my son's teacher for High School German? We're in a small city east of St. Louis, Missouri.
You have taken all the trouble to make the table, but it is out of focus, sad... But helpful. I learnt all this long back in my college days, more than 20 years back, keep coming back to it now and then, but always forget again. I need to make up some very good example sentences, and memorize, like a song or a poem, I suppose. BTW, this time it makes sense to be me, why they may use genitive for sentences with numerals, - 'three of houses', 'four of books', that is how they like to say in Russian, I suppose. Also, the negative, 'none of roads' instead of 'there are no roads' etc..But that 1-4 (or is it 1-5) being singular and 6-more being plural is very idiosyncratic, (and eccentric) of Russian - remember learning about it back in mid-eighties...

Thanks Antonia, we have some bad roads also.
Hmm. The middle and end part about the roads, left me wondering .. :s
Actually, nevermind. :s I feel silly now. As they are of course, simply random examples always. Упс.
Ha...Ha.....no RedRose, we really do have BAD roads, although this can be an example.....
Thanks 😊
