agreed but lets be fair... here he looks like hes just walked onto the set and is clearly reading cards, quite stiff and doesn't know what hes ready past the few words coming next.
If I ever hear Christopher Walken is hosting SNL I won't miss it.
@@vulturnuszan The delivery is a big part of what makes it funny. There was a sketch about a SNL host reunion. One of the others reminisces about rehearsals, and Walken expresses surprise, "They tell me be here the night of the show and just do whatever."

What makes this work is how Walken doesn't play it totally straight - there's just a little over-dramatizing in his technique, like he's channeling Edmond O'Brien or a similar actor of that era. Added to the absurd dialogue, it makes the comedic effect so much stronger. Love it!
