I disagree. The MX 5...at least the manual, LSD version, can be an angry little wasp and a tail happy hooligan. By no means is it kingpin of the road, but it can certainly be a low level thug. Speaking from experience.
It can be whatever you want it to be, that’s why there has been such a massive aftermarket for all of these cars. You can keep it stock or turn it into a Lambo killer, that’s the beauty of it

So this year I needed a new car. I went to the Mazda Dealership and told them I want a MX5. What have you got? The salesman looks at me with a sort of pained expression on his face and asked me how tall I was. Its 2 metres or just over 6.5 feet. Long story short I cant actually fit behind the steering wheel. Bought a Mazda 3 instead.
Not to mention that the Japanese "re-invented" and "re-popularized" the dead british roadsters and literally make the word roadster from a british thing into a japanese thing.
Am I stupid, or does he say he went to Humberside to drive it? Doesn't look anything like Humberside to me. If so where is this? As it looks like Majorca to me
@@Nickoboss29 true. I've a 1999 and 2000 models that are restored to factory condition. The comments I've received from others are usually that they look better than the newer models. Those of course the "opinions" of others as well.

I will always have a Miata. Driving it is legitimate therapy for me. It just puts a smile on my soul.
Simple, light, agile, this is the recipe for driving fun. Volontary engine and of course 100 % cabrio feeling

how much did you pay? here in eastern europe the cheapest ones start at 5000$ (with the pop-up headlights)
1.5 can easily do 7.5 secs to 100 kmh too. Love it so much.

I don't recall being angry. It's a classic British roadster, but without any of the downsides. It's a win-win.
