I actually did get Paul wight by pinning him, hard af, but had to do 3 signatures back to back then finisher and pinned him, the trick is also to do more grapple strikes, and ground strikes to combat that strike blocking perk.

It took me forever to unlock Paul Wight because there's one one way to beat him considering you have to lise every match to get the who's ribbin me storyline. But i found Malakai Black gives you the best odds to trigger the storyline and the only way to beat Paul Wight is to knocking him into the guardrail outside the ring. And to do that taunt him until he get outside the ring and continue kicking him when he's down until the count of 8 or even 9 but i wouldn't advise waiting until the count of 9 then sprint back into the ring. Boom! Thats how you defeat Paul Wight . Oh and a pro tip when you finally trigger the who's ribbin me storyline save and quit the game immediately and relaunch the road to elite story mode. And also if you ever find yourself about to lose close the game's application not the matchand relaunch it and you'll find yourself able to restart the match against Paul Wight and you can continue doing it unti you are able to finally beat him.
Out of curiosity, would you happen to know which wrestlers DO have alternate attires? I've seen some only receive a generic black logo AEW t-shirt and nothing else. And yes I'm all for inclusive attires and pallet swapping. It was possible during the old N64 games so AEW needs that too. I also say the game needs to remove the music restrictions for CAWS.

Jericho got glitched into the turnbuckle and just kept walking in place, and for some reason Mox kept targeting him? It made the rest of the match a breeze lol
Eddie Kingston can get to 4C. On Owen Hart, the quickest 1 player\one controller unlock method - Create Jobber Wrestle as Sting - One on One - Normal matches only. Immediately go outside and grab a weapon under ring. It will always be a bat. Hit the jobber with the bat once. It doesn't even have to be a full swing. Pin and win. Each match has taken me 19-25 seconds with this method.

I HIGHLY recommend killing focusing on the Gold Attires in Normal Matches, and you should unlock Owen Hart as you're working on the 5th and 6th wrestlers' Gold Attires.
For Owen hart if you have played any road to the elite or anything other than 1v1 exhibition you can’t go by the stats. I played 14 games of road to the elite and at 114 exhibition 1v1 wins I unlocked Owen hart.
Since it came out on PS+ i got this, only got the Broken Matt dlc and working on unlocking Owen Hart. For Owen the fastest way is create a wrestler (jobber) start an exhibition match, after is done click on rematch and they count. Alreasy unlocked Brodie Lee and Paul White. Edit: On easy difficulty is even faster, have 63 wins so far in 40 minutes.
paul wight is just OP as hell but i gotten him within the last 8 seconds and beaten him after 4 tries. Now he's gonna be one of my main characters for sure.

actually there's one more unlockable & that's the Darby Allin Kenny Omega coffin drop on a coffin cutscene: to see it you have to play as Kenny Omega lose the Casino Battle Royal & win all your matches until you reach the final match @ Full Gear in the Dance With Death 2C storyline, then after that you'll get the Darby Allin storyline @ Revolution, titled Breaking Point

It's odd, when you unlock Matt Hardy's gold outfit the legit way you get the gold Broken Matt Hardy costume, the regular Matt Hardy has a gold costume as well, but I don't know how to unlock that the legit way.

the black aew shirt attire some wrestlers have, there must be a way to unlock legitimately. Some already have the gold attire as a glitch, but you can delete them. You cant delete the gold attires when you unlock them the right way, sure you can delete the preset, but not the attire in custom. I have a feeling there are more attires to unlock somehow. Because when you unlock a gold attire the correct way it says gold attire 1 unlocked, so there must be a gold attire two, or black attire 1. They wouldnt have put gold attire 1 if there werent other attires. I wont try to figure it out untill i unlock all gold attire 1 outfits. I completed 50 matches on normal difficulty wearing a gold attire and it did nothing. But if anyone else has the time, my guess is that it could be something to do with the the championships on exhibition. Maybe winning the other championships 20x unlocks different attires? I definitely think their are other attires to unlock properly. Im just away at the moment with family so i cant play the game😂😂😅
The loading times on the Switch are brutal for running back RTE for snapshots/ mini games and chasing gold attires. I only did Rey and Jade. Has anyone found out how to get that purple attire for Britt?

unlocking Brodie is easier to unlock than Owen, it isn't hard to unlock Owen just tedious, Paul Wite however, now that was challenging

You don’t need warlow to unlock barb wire match you can do it with your created person as well
You can do ANYTHING with a CAW, but you have to pick the right personality traits and options. Using Wardlow is the EASY and FAST way.
