Ich war dann so endlos traurig, als die Nachricht kam, dass sie erschossen wurden. Immer überkommt mich tiefste Trauer, wenn ich am dich denke. Es tut mir so unfassbar leid!!! I saw Silke Bischoff live on Open Air Zillo Festival, Aiport Hildesheim, Germany 1997 There were the Top Act on Saturday Evening. That was the one day before Lady Di died.
Jahre nach ihrem Tod (1988) zu singen "nothing can tear us apart" ist der Hammer. Auch heute noch, obwohl ich die Band seit 2001 kannte. Tut irgendwie weh.
Undoubtedly those days we saw the dark and disgusting side of journalism and one of the worst police actions ever seen. Both are responsible for the death of these two hostages, the police, who fired 62 shots at the hijackers' vehicle, were the ones who killed Silke.. We saw journalists sympathizing and chatting with the terrorists, offering them cigarettes and even a tray of coffee, without feeling any empathy for the hostages, without offering them water or coffee. Another journalist came up with the idea of interviewing the poor girl, who had a gun pointed at her beautiful face and with disgusting questions like "are you afraid?" or "do you think he is going to shoot you?"... just abominable. Surely she wouldn't know that she was going to be sacrificed with the latest action of the police, who only wanted to catch the terrorists alive... 🙏RIP Silke and Giorgi❤
