I remember in the inaugural IPL Delhi Daredevils had Asif and McGrath both in the same team...man that was some team...they still didn't win though. But without a doubt Asif was once in a generation bowler... always enjoyed watching him bowl. Wish him the very best in life :)

Because he still has something called "magic" inside and he can provide our youngsters with his helpful coaching. Kick out Waqar and Appoint him as our Bowling Coach 🙏

@@Ibi252 Definitley not - Check his strike rate , man of the match awards etc and you will know that he is far away from Wasim , Dale Steyn and others.he only played 23 tests and was at his peak while other legends ahve played for 15-20 years ...So if he had played for 10 plus years his average would have been even higher than other greats

Today's generation really does nt know about this legend and about his swing bowling..now a days after this man swing bowling also retired from cricket. Hope in future we would want to see like this type of swing bowling.

Whatever happened, happened, he was an absolute sniper delivering the ball, and you know how good he is when the likes of A.B devilliers, Hashim Amla and Kevin Pietersen said he was the best they faced. We all make mistakes in life and he’s paid the ultimate price for it but there’s nothing that can cancel talent, and he had that talent.
