Notes: - I'm gonna explain what happened in this chapter in a simple way. All of things that happened from when Dreamseeker got headache during Ajita's body investigation until the shadow ball fell to Langqiu and explode are just a dream. This is also the reason why ever since DS got headache, the screen got that foggy effect (If you're curious, there's a link at the bottom). How can it be a dream and how did it work? It's going to be explained in act 2 on Sunday. Honestly, I kinda like this kind of breaking the 4th wall thing. Although different, it reminds me of what they did with Vita during Salt Snow Holy City Arc. The Narrator of that arc was Vita the whole time ever since her first appearance until she left, and we didn't even realize it until it was shown. -2:41:02 "I believe I've told you this before. I have long had meticulously designed funeral arrangement in order" THAT'S WHY IT ALWAYS TALK ABOUT FUNERAL LIKE IT'S NOTHING SINCE CHAPTER 1. I thought it was just a joke from "Perception", turns out it always serious the whole time lmao -1:30:02 The reason why Thelema acting strange when she met Baiji in this chapter is because at that time she was controlled by Serapeum via the power of Union. Thelema has gradually lost control of her body after the shadow ball appeared (As shown in Chapter 2 Act 3, when Thelema sensed that something is wrong with her). The fact is Thelema already connected with the Union/Sera since she met Songque at the beginning of this chapter, hence why Sera acted like an interpreter to Songque. -1:46:32 Never change Sena, never change lol. -1:47:46 Baiji questioning Sena's ability to overload Astral Ring because even him and Lantern couldn't do it exactly like Sena in such short period of time. I'm gonna edit this note if there's anything that catch my interest Chapter 2 Act 2 (1:40:45): ua-cam.com/video/pKMGU82uHFA/v-deo.htmlsi=XlRa9j0OQL6-_yhg
Thank you very much for the explanation and the video I already saved it in my list so from the end of act 2 chapter 2 we were in a trance if you didn't say it I wouldn't have even noticed I thought that from chapter 3 all these things would happen but 2 hours for this act 1 I'm already looking forward to seeing what he's been up to for this act I already knew that the trailer and the Dream Seeker waking up were a harbinger of what could happen
@@oxdaman1It is explained in 1:33:00 and 1:35:40. Basically, the power of manipulating Shadows mastered by the Seven Shus is both a blessing and a curse. When the time to pay the price for it arrived, they have their own power turn on them in some way. Litost who's slaughtering everyone on Amber Street ended up got sacrificed to become the pool of shadow, Thelema who found pleasure from dominating and controling everyone ended up finding pleasure for being paralyzed and being controlled.
@@oxdaman1You're welcome. A little info, Litost became the pool of shadows is actually explained in chapter 1 act 3, during the conversation between him and Baiji when he was about to be sacrificed. "The Pool of Shadows that will flow through the entire land thanks to you is the only way to stabilize the world we created." -Baiji You can watch it here for full context: ua-cam.com/video/GUdX0-0EFNE/v-deo.htmlsi=Zxor1NApnTH8fhcA (1:37:37 - 1:46:09)
2:06:52 the ellie DNA leaking out 😆.That part was my favorite, where in the middle of Songque fear and insecurities, she receives a lot of warm and honest words from her companions. This one was the best chapter in Part 2 imo, with the characters interactions being the highlight. I just wish the part 2 plot was more clear overall (waiting for that Homu labs video covering more of the story).
Honestly the scene where we controlling Thelema is the most creepiest I have ever seen in a while in HI3rd. And they did great on detailing how each Shus are dead and then there's Duonigue 😂😂😂
Thelema, Serapeum, and Lantern got detailed and flowery description of their dead. Meanwhile Duonigue: A dead Dog We need to stop Duonigue slander lmao
@@itsogiru I actually found it kinda unsettling how the others got so much description and duonigue was portrayed with pure silence and the cold hard fact of his death
@@martypcsr If I have to guess, it probably because Duonigue is the only one who did something beyond Perception (referring to chapter 1), thus almost foiling its plan.
Usually if it's something like this, it's because of the direction. I did saw the CN version and I admit they've done the scream better in CN. The build up to the scream is actually good for both, but the scream however is different. In CN dub, Songque screamed like she just saw someone who sacrificed himself to protect Songque. To put it simple, it sounds like she screamed because she didn't want to let him go and of a realization that Baiji is gone. Meanwhile the JP dub sounds like she's in denial that Baiji is gone (like she's moment away to realization), probably following the script cuz there's "?" mark in there.
@@itsogiru To say "done better and more talented" just because of a single line delivered is so stupid and ignorant of him lol. Stupid because it disregard the amazing work the jp VA did so far with the character. And ignorant because Takamori Natsumi is a helluva veteran and the delivery of said line was greenlighted by the direction. They are the responsibles 95% of the time if some line sound off when working with a veteran jp VA.

Thanks for the video!
2:02:41 why turn around 😭
I respect Songque lol
2:02:20 what does Sena say if the player has chosen the male dreamseeker?
Sena will say "As long as DS not looking is okay right?".
@itsogiru thank you!
