So many viewers want to know how to get into the yachting industry and what the work entails. This series of interviews answers both of those questions and will soon be available in podcast!
Adam Fitzmaurice is without a doubt one of the most successful Charter Managers I have ever met. Here is his story of how he travelled, learned, worked hard, and made his way to the top.
Probably the nicest guy in yachting.
Well done...
The ability to work hard and thrive under stress is a relatively rare superpower. Would most of us knew the secret to that formula.
What a wonderful 'take life as it comes to you' story. I recognise this as my life has been like that. I wish many youngsters would do this too. Its know what you know but all about who you know (once you have a good solid base built in school).
This was a great video! For the industry, what is the reasoning behind a charter broker and charter manager being two different people? Is it the concern of a conflict of interest, or does keeping them separate help strengthen the relationships? [Or are you just _that_ busy? 😉] And does the legal process vary between the two enough to (also) warrant two different positions?
