I was having a bad time with this guy too in my current blind playthrough (on Hard mode), so I was restarting this battle over and over, and at some point I used Hama thinking it wouldn't work on bosses That was the biggest "What the fuck" I have screamed in my life
I didn't lose to him on my first blind playthrough, but he did give me a very good run for my money, make sure you stack debuffs till you can't anymore, I had to Tarunda him twice to prevent him from oneturning my demons with berserk
@@papipepino. By saying the red capote you mean the Matador? If so, I actually beat him now, but it took me like 10 hours (I played in a span of 2 days, 5 hours each) to find an efficient strategy. In addition of the ridiculous encounters where 6 demons spawns and aggro the MC. What a shame, because I got super lucky, a demon negociated to get into my party and he had dekaja... or that time I didn't save and Matador one shot the MC with a crit.
Say in a Le s play he's weak to charm. So recruiting a Lilim from the room he was guarding would be a good strategy to use on him. Kinda ironic isn't it to guard a room with people with your weakness.
As funny as it is, I think getting Ame no uzume for this boss fight shows that you grinded too much and got overleveled for at least some bosses before Dante/Raidou and Daisou-bro fights.
There's a difference between bosses and forced encounters Usually, forced encounters are regular enemies that are stronger than usual to warrant them being mandatory But that doesn't have to stop them from being vulnerable to instant death!
@@ArshadZahid_nohandleideas at the same time, bosses and stuff always being immune to status effects and instant kills makes those skills almost worthless as they're rarely worth using on random fodder
IIRC, the four Eligor encounters in the Assembly of Nihilo can also be one-shotted with Hama, and the true Kaiwan trio is actually weak against Expel/Light. Just in case you didn't already happen to know.

This demon has a weak resistance to status ailments so you could've just charmed him and the fight is won from there
@pepino1556 I had a super easy time with him, nozuchi to drain force, minakata with dark might for free damage, isora with rakunda media it's so easy
